Sometimes the body won´t take no for an answer. Better it puts pancakes in your face than horse-heads in your bed. Hope you feel better soon!

tarting weight: 183.5
Current Weight: 170.6 (-2.6)
First Mini Goal Weight: 160 by March 27
Second Mini Goal Weight: 144 by July 3
Final Goal Weigh: 125

Pretty good weigh in this week considering yesterdays pancake binge.

Thank you. I guess pancakes are better than horse heads, but if someone were to want to put another full horse in my barn for me to ride that would far surpass pancakes!!
I'm sure part of that 'pound of loss' came from eating so early yesterday, so I just didn't have anything sitting in my tummy still, but I'll take it.
Today was a busy day. It started off with NONE of my 4 alarms going off this morning!! I was supposed to meet my mom at 7:45am and only woke up when she called me at 7:44 to ask if I was there already. So had to major rush to get over there. All of my family's dogs went to the vet for a teeth cleaning and lump removals (well, my oldest dog didn't need lump removals but the other 2 did). We took them to a vet in a small town about 45 mins away, as we hoped it'd be cheaper. I was a bit nervous as all my dogs are getting older (especially my 15 yr old dog) and putting the under is always a bit of a worry, especially with a vet we had never used before (though friend's of our had used him before and been happy). Thankfully everyone came out fine. My mom saved a bit of money on her dogs but I probably didn't really save much on mine (but the gas was my mom's so I didn't lost money driving).
We then came back into the city and I quickly got to meet my new niece (who, on cue, started to cry the instant I held her, as most babies do). We then went to work at my shop. I had 3 dogs booked (since I started the day late and needed to get off early to pick up the dogs). One was very large and old so was a little difficult to do. Then 2 smaller, easier dogs. I also 'roughed in' one of my groomer's dogs as she was falling a little behind with several large dogs. We originally wanted to leave by 2:15 but ended up leaving close to 3. My lunch was lasagna.
Picked up our cute puppies (altogether it was a bill of 2000 bucks!). The dog with the big lump removal was looking like frankenstien's monster.
My mom dropped me and my dog back off at my car. I was at a grocery store so quickly ran in and grabbed the groceries I forgot to get last time I went shopping.
Went home and spent a few mins with my dog, Stryder, (I ate a couple brownies too) to make sure the he was looking and feeling good. Then showered and changed to go to a friend's house for game night. I stopped and picked up vietnamese for supper. My friend and said that he was thinking of ordering pizza, but since I wasn't sure if that's what people were actually going to do I wasn't sure how to plan my calories for the evening so decided picking up vietnamese was the safer bet. I also had some popcorn for a snack, and some mini peanut butter cups. I finished my cals around 1700 for the day so I am fairly happy with that.
Would love to keep tomorrow's cals to 1500 which I think should be doable. I also will be riding and working out tomorrow, and my sis in law is coming over for a movie night so I need to vacuum and do a bit of cleaning (my house is still tidy and mostly clean, just needs the extra's I don't do as often.

Thanks. Both my doberman (who had the big lump removed) and my poodle (who had the small cyst removed) won't leave their owies alone so the doberman got a cone (which the vet thought that the vet tech's should have given us one anyways), and I am trying to find ways to keep poodle's foot wrapped to keep him from licking it. If I can' I will go get one of his booties that I have in the car till monday when I can get the cone we have at the shop. The doberman's lump was not a fat lump like my usual vet said (that would get smaller if doberman lost the 3 extra pounds he had on him) that didn't really need removing but could be, but was actually a fat tumour (either cancerous or could become cancerous, not sure) and it had gotten even bigger since I had the regular vet look at it about a month ago (despite my brother feeding him less so he'd lose weight). So it was a very good thing we had it removed.

I got out of bed today around 11am. Weighed myself and wasn't shocked to see I was up to 171.4. With the high sodium eating out meal and seasoned popcorn and such, combined with not exercising (exercising really seems to hold any water weight at bay for me) I knew I'd likely be up on the scales.
Headed to the barn and rode my horse. He was fairly good today. Some 'jumps' were out (really they were too small to be considered jumps) because some young girls were having a lesson so I bopped over them a little during my ride. The weather is warming up a bit this week so I need to make my ride's harder to increase muscle/stamina/training.
Got home and had french toast for lunch before changing and heading to the gym. I told myself that I would make it to 6km's today (obviously today was a running day rather than a circuit day).
I pushed myself and ran 14-15 min intervals at a speed of 5.0, and did a 7.0 sprint on the last interval. The total time (including warm up and cooldown) was 50 mins. Treadmill said cal burn was 508. Total distance was 3.95 miles (6.35km).

I had a shower and am not relaxing a bit till around 5pm, when I will do some cleaning to prepare for my sister in law (not the one who just had a baby) coming down for a movie night. I think it will really be our first time doing something alone...ever, and she's been married to my brother for probably 7 years now. (granted, most of the time living about 7 hours away from me).
Tomorrow will be circuit day. I will be waking up and working out first, then going to ride (I usually do the opposite) because I am going to my trainer's barn after to watch some of my friends have lessons. So it would just be silly to drive out to the barn, drive all the way back, exercise then drive back in the same direction as my barn to watch.

Not sure what I will have for supper yet. I'm going to be leaving room for popcorn for during the movie, but not sure if it will be microwave popcorn or the white cheddar chipolte stuff that comes in a 'chip' like bag.

My sister in law ended up not coming down to my place today. My silly little niece (4 years old) stuck a bead up her nose too far for her parents to get it out, so my brother had to take her to the doctor to have it removed and my sis in law had to stay home with their other 2 children. We have rescheduled for tomorrow. I would have much preferred today as I don't love doing too much in the evenings when I have to work the next day and tomorrow is relatively busy all day as it is, but my house is all nice and clean now and I don't want to waste it!! I've put away all the 'bird poop' catching blankets and such too to make my house look totally presentable so would rather have her down before dragging it all back out again.
Took me forever to decide on what to have for supper today. I just didn't feel like having any of my food. I finally called my mom and she suggested a salsa chicken (chicken, salsa, cheese, baked) so I made that with some baked potato and it was pretty good. Will likely have it again in the future. I then had some of the white cheddar popcorn, but also had 2 brownies, so I finished up at 1763 I believe. Would have preferred to stay under 1700 cals, but being 63 over isn't too bad.
To stay under my weekly cal limit I would only have 1344 cals left, however I plan to eat more around 1500-1700 tomorrow (if I can stay more toward 1500 that'd be great), then work next week to stay under my weekly goal again. I don't want to feel starved or deprived due to one day's mistake.

Poor doberman, I hope all is well now. I ought to have visitors over regularly to force myself to have everything tiptop all the time but... I hate allowing anyone into my cave. Maybe my mom is right and being single is making me a bit antisocial ;)
Do kids really stick things up their noses and ears like that? I only ever saw that on television and I found it silly even when I was tiny myself!

Thank you everyone.
Short update as I'm in bed ready to sleep and am on my phone.
Did my circuit training workout this morning. I would normally ride my horse first then workout but since my friends wanted me to come watch them today I worked out first. Bad idea. Instead of being energized like everyone says you should feel after working out I usually just feel like snuggling up in my pj's on the couch and that's what I ended up doing. So other than riding I spent the whole day at home doing nothing. I felt bad about not riding as my horse only got 4 rides this week not the 5 I want to do, plus my friend had made me a smoothie to try while I watched her ride.
My sis in law came down this evening and we had a pretty good time. Had some deep talk in which we had conflicting opinions but we were able to keep it light and move on. Watched 'Warrior' which was pretty good.
Ate 1646 today which means I finished up about 300 over my weekly goal which isn't too bad, though I think if I had really tried I think I could have stayed under. Would love to see the 160's at weigh in tomorrow but I'm not gonna hold my breath haha

169 this morning. Being in the 160's isn't really anything to be happy about but it's better than the 170's or 180's.

Thanks guys. I would just rather see 130's or even 140's. Still not even down to my starting weight last time.

Didn't have too long of a workday today, though one of the dog's I groomed had the most horrid breath due to rotting teeth. Had to breath through my mouth the whole time. Had lasagna for lunch.
After work I headed to the barn. I wanted to just give my horse a light lunge since it's cold outside (and I was feeling too lazy to ride) but my horse has been a bit of a pain for lunging lately so ended up being a MUCH harder work than I had anticipated. Had to take a long time to cool him down and make sure he was dry enough to go outside.
Got home and had an orange for snack before heading to the gym. Today was treadmill day. Went 3.89 miles (6.26km) in 47 mins (including 2 min walk warm up, and 5 min walk cool down). Ran most of my intervals at 5.5 with 8-9 min intervals. Picking up my speed was HARD. The last interval I had to drop my speed to 5.0. I still got my one min sprint at 7.0 in. Cal burn on treadmill said 488
Made a creamy shrimp pasta recipe for supper. Was quite yummy.
Had a couple pieces of brownie and popcorn for night snack. Finished on 1492

Pretty much replicated my food day from yesterday, well no, not pretty much. EXACTLY replicated my food from yesterday so finished at 1492.
Work was decent. Had a very very nervous dog, a rescue that had never been professionally groomed before. It was a mixed breed but had a breed in him that can be quite aggressive (sharpei) so I wasn't sure initially how it would go. Thankfully the dog did not seem to have an aggressive bone in his body. So though he was more difficult to groom due to his nervousness I wasn't in danger of losing a finger. Heard from my brother that our doberman managed to get his cone off and ripped up at least a couple stitches. He's probably gonna need to go back to the vet and get re-stitched.
Got off work around 1:30 and went to the barn. I've been talking to my trainer's students that I'm friends with and I was telling them how I needed the weather to get warmer out because light 30 min rides weren't gonna get him fit. They both told me that they usually only ride for 20 mins or so. Though I personally think that's a little light to have a horse really nice and fit especially at the higher levels (I have always strived for 45mins) it also gave me some peace of mind. Like today. I really didn't feel very energetic and didn't really feel like riding, but I told myself to go and only ride for 20 mins, and you know what? I got on and rode for 30. But knowing that my trainer's students could get a horse decently fit in 20 mins, made me feel like I can sometimes let myself do a light ride and maybe once I am on, with the promise of a light ride, I might feel like doing more. Kinda like how they say if you feel too tired to/don't feel like doing exercise try going for 15 mins, if you are still feeling too tired/not up to it then you can call it quits. However you may get into it after 15 mins and end up having a really good workout.
Had my circuit training on the schedule for today. A few things are starting to feel a little easier. Starting to last a little longer and take less breaks. Some thing are still very hard, like burpees. I sweat like a pig while I workout especially doing things where my head is lower/same level than my body (like burpees, cage crawl outs). I need to get some more workout towels if I don't want to have to do laundry almost everyday. I actually really need to get more workout gear. I'm short on both shirts and pants, and also sports bras. But I'm short on money and I don't want to buy too much for the size I currently am, so gonna try to make it work for a while.
I finished off my brownies today :( Gonna have to make another batch. I really wish I could find a way to make them less calorie as they are so good, but 2 pieces is 250 cals or so which is a decent amount of cals for the serving size. I'm quite sad that the splenda ones did not work out. Oh well, it's nice to have a chocolate fix. Which reminds me, I was totally gonna try the white chocolate pudding mix I bought the other day! Darn. Well, I guess that's what I'll be having tomorrow for snack.
Just gonna have some popcorn to finish up the night.
