Yay for being in the 160's!!! You will get to your goal Mystic. You are back on track & being very positive & determined xo Cate

Thank you. The weather was a bit crappy today. Cold and a bit snowy. After work I felt really tired and with the weather being gross I decided I would take the day off riding, however I knew I didn't want to take the day off working out. So as soon as I got home I changed and headed to the gym. It was running day today, but I decided that working on speed could take a back burner for now as the fitter I can get from running longer distances the faster I will be able to run naturally. And I more so need the distance than the speed anyways. So decided to try to get up to 4 miles today.
I ended up getting 4.13 miles (6.9 kms, if I knew how close I was to 7 I would have kept going) Running at 5.0. First interval was 18 mins, 14 mins the last 2 intervals. I totally forgot to do my 1 min sprint but was still happy with my run. Treadmill said a cal burn of 558.
Lasagna for lunch. Orange for a snack. I had Salsa Chicken for supper, and also a grilled cheese sandwich (though I used light miracle whip instead of butter, which was quite good actually and lower cal than using butter by a long shot). I ended up with a lot of calories left for my 'snacks' so had an everything bagel with white chocolate peanut butter (I know right?), then popcorn.
Finished my cals at 1472

Well, I'm of course hoping to see a nice drop in time for weigh in tomorrow.
I had to return something after work today that just took forever as their debit/credit machine wasn't working properly, to top it of they were setting up some sort of racks/shelving in the next room and the noise was very... annoying isn't the right word, it was almost a 'scary' noise. It's really hard to explain, kinda like there was something wrong with the building and it might collapse at any moment. Haha. Obviously I knew what they were doing (they apologized for the noise when I came it) so I knew nothing was wrong but it was just the kind of noise that sets you on edge. I was happy when my refund finally went though.
I then went to the barn and had a good ride. I dragged out some jumps and set up a gymnastic type exercise for us

Then dragged all the jumps back out of the arena.
That ended up being the only exercise I did today. I had planned to do my circuit training, but I got home from work and just didn't feel I had the energy. I wish I had just told myself to go for 10 mins, because I bet if I got myself there and started to do my workout I would have gotten through the whole thing. I have done 4 days of exercise already this week so only need to do one more to make it 5 days, and I still have friday and saturday to get it done. I'm also likely going hiking and to hot yoga on sunday so I'm really planning to do 6 days this week. I do have to ride twice more this week yet and with being busy on sunday it has to get done friday and saturday.
I had half an enchilada for lunch, grilled cheese sandwich and soup for supper, a full package of jello (made into jello not just the powder haha) and popcorn for snack. I really want to make more brownies but was too lazy today (oh, and just remembered I have no milk so couldn't make them anyways) Finished on 1515 cals.
Need to make it to the grocery store soon to get milk and oranges and I think I need just one or 2 other things, so not a big shop thankfully.

Decent weigh in. Was hoping to get into 168 but what can you do.

Today was quite the busy day.
I had a full workday, though thankfully most of the dogs were good. Left work around 4:15 to go to the barn. Had a 25 mins ride on my horse, Elis. The warm weather and his winter coat make him feel like he's working a lot harder than he actually is. Got home around 6:20 and by the time I got to the gym (I quickly made jello before going so I could have it for a snack later) it was probably 6:45 (I totally forgot to eat the granola bar I was gonna have for snack before going). I REALLY didn't want to go to the gym today. I REALLY didn't. After a long day I would have much rather just relaxed. However I mis-counted yesterday when I thought I only needed one more day of exercise. I had only done 3 days this week before today, not 4, so in fact needed 2 more days. And since I am busy on sunday (granted, doing exercise by hiking and yoga) I needed to do both today and tomorrow. So I was able to force myself to go. Today was my 40 mins circuit training.
It was around 7:50 I believe when I was done, and still needed to make and eat supper.
I made another grilled cheese, as I have been having for the last few days, as well as a shrimp recipe. I had had my lasagna for lunch, and I had jello and popcorn for evening snack. I almost didn't even have the popcorn because at the time I really didn't feel hungry, but when I decided to watch a movie I did, since popcorn is the snack to eat while watching a movie. I will soon get sick of popcorn though I am afraid. I love it for a snack because you get so much of it for so low cal, and because you get so much it takes a while to eat so you aren't sitting there craving anything. Compared to a chocolate bar of the same calories, it's a massive difference in how much you get for the same cals, but the same thing day in and day out almost always leads to boredom.
Since I did not remember to eat that granola bar on my way to the gym I finished my cals a little lower than I was expecting, at 1356.
Tomorrow may be another busy day. I need to ride and workout, one friend wants to watch a few episodes of a TV show together and another friend wants to do something as well. I like having things to do on the weekends, but I also like having some down time to recharge and with today being busy, tomorrow looking busy, sunday with hiking and yoga, and monday(a holiday) with riding, working out, and family dinner I'm not sure when I will have time to recharge. And I know I have another friend that will want me to do something too if I can spare the time.

Do you season your popcorn? If not, give it a shot! I personally love throwing cumin on mine. But sometimes it's just salt, or onion powder, or cayenne, or some combination of those things. That might help make it seem like a different treat for you.

I do have some of the actual popcorn seasoning but it's always so high cal. Maybe I'll try some of your ideas as they sound a lot less calorie ridden. I do like the orville white cheddar and chipolte popcorn, and you can have a good bit of it for 260 cals, but you go through one bag so quickly and then the bottom 1/3 of the bag is all tiny itty bitty bit of popcorn.

Quickly checking in before bed as I have to be up tomorrow early for the hike.

Very busy day today. Got up around 10:15 and headed straight to the gym. Treadmill day. Ran 7.23 km (4.49 miles)! Furthest yet. Did the same intervals as last run but remembered to do my sprint and instead of a one min sprint I did a 2 min sprint. Took 56 mins including walking warm up and cool down. On my second interval my mind and body screamed for me to stop because it was 'too hard' and I was 'too tired'. I fought really hard and pushed through those thoughts and the rest of the intervals weren't too bad.
Went back to my apartment and showered and had a bagel with peanut butter for lunch (tasted SO GOOD after my hard run). Went to the barn. I did a quick lunge session as I was running behind to get to my friend's house. My friend and I ended up making chocolate chip cookies. I added the recipe to MFP and allowed myself 3.
My mom and I went out for chinese food for an early supper. It was SO GOOD! The restaurant we go to really does it right. Lots of cals I'm sure. Estimated as best I could.
I went shopping at walmart to get some snack type foods I could bring along for our hike tomorrow since I think we are planning a bit of a picnic type lunch. Got cheese string, turkey pepperoni sticks, and peanut 'granola' bars. I also had to buy a water bottle as I left mine at the barn and I need one for the hike tomorrow. I also wanted to get another one as then I can always have one ready in the freezer in case I forget to put the other one back in at the end of the day.
Went back to my friend's house after that and we just played video games with her fiance and another friend.

My guess on cals today is 2482. I have around 2000 cals for tomorrow. We didn't finish all the chinese food so I took some home so I need to try to fit that in tomorrow (I don't want to eat over 1500 cals on monday which will be hard with it being a holiday because that will make the next weekend harder to stay in my weekly cal goals).

Another quick check in as I am at a party still and on my phone.
Went hiking in the mountains today for 2 hours. It was really icey and muddy depending on where and when we were. My dog loved it.
Then we went to hot yoga. We had meant to go to more of a workout one but due to timing after our hike we ended up doing a restorative one which was pretty much lying down in different positions for 90 mins. I was so sweaty by the end. I can't imagine if we were actually doing a workout one. I would like to try a workout one. Maybe in a couple weeks.
Ate a little more than I wanted to today. Depending on if I entered my Chinese cals right (had it yesterday and had leftovers today) I am 50 cals over my weekly cal goal which isn't bad)

Quick last update before bed.
At the party today I resisted pretty much all the snacks and the pizza. The only things I gave into is that I got some white cheddar popcorn and (I just remembered so it was not on my cal count) I had a small cupcake. Guessing 200 cals there maybe. So that would mean I was 250 cals over my limit. I did have 2 cans of pop. If I had remembered my cupcake was not on the cal count I think I could have kept it to one pop. Oh well. still not terrible but really want to stay in my cal count next week. In case I have made mistakes with logging I prefer a bit of a buffer rather than a slight overage.

Nice weigh in! Parties are a minefield. Even though you went over you kept track and limited yourself. I haven't done as well lately and there are no parties here.
