Time's a Wastin, and I'm Still Fat.

It's definitely nice to be able to choose my own show, even if I watch it on my itty bitty phone screen!

Fairly good day today. Had to groom my first dog sitting on the ground because he was an old, FAT, one legged german shepard. He could hardly stand for even a minute or 2 so I groomed him while he lay on the floor. That was uncomfortable.

No. I don't accept this. Not at all.

You can NOT introduce us to a story involving a fat, ONE LEGGED dog and then only give us one or two sentences of details. That's not allowed. We need more. And, we need it now.

Give us the deets!!!

That would have been a good idea MrVee!

Chef>> There really isn't any more to that story. Not sure how or why he doesn't have a leg, I just groomed him (I'm a dog groomer in case you didn't know). Just another, difficult, client (difficult due to his inability to stand, he was a decent dog)

154.6 this morning. Woohoo, like seeing those numbers plummet!
Thought work was gonna be insane today, with 7 dogs (one of them being a Pyrenees and one being a wheaton, so dogs that are a bit bigger), but everything (except maybe the wheaton) was pretty easy and I finished by 3ish and left by 3:30.
I felt tired leaving to drive to the barn, almost turned to go home instead of heading to the barn but convinced myself to go... And when I got there (and saw my horse already had been fed supper and was eating) I gave in to my lack of energy, gave him a treat, turned around, and went home. 40 mins of driving for nothing.
I chatted with the barn staff for a while and so by the time I made it home it was around 4:30. When I got home I really was wanting to eat, so I popped a singly 'drop' of the Cookies and Cream Drops I had bought. I decided that since I didn't have much energy today but still wanted to do SOMETHING I decided I would walk to the vietnamese restaurant nearish to my house for supper. I wanted to wait until about 6pm to leave so I didn't eat supper too late.
After relaxing at home till 6 I almost decided to just make a supper at home and just veg around all evening, but I forced myself up off the couch and headed out.
I made sure to keep a really fast walking pace to make sure that I actually got a bit of a workout. I thought it was a little over a mile walk one way, but it ended up being pretty much exactly 2kms. So in total I went 4.14kms (2.57miles). My pace was around 13.68 mins/mile - 14.48 mins/mile (which on a treadmill would be between 4.0-4.5). Took 37 mins total (about 18 mins one way and 19 the other). Total cals of 285 according to mapmyrun.
The vietnamese place I went to has the best tasting food (to put it in perspective there is a vietnamese place 3 mins from my house, but I went to this one instead haha), but they are kinda rude. And they put me right in front of where they need to grab stuff which was kinda awkward. I guess they had wanted me to sit on the other side of the table (they didn't say so but by the way they had placed the menu and utensils) but I preferred to sit where there was no one behind me as that seems a bit squishy and I assumed they wouldn't have needed the stuff there if they were sitting me there haha.
My body is sore all over. Especially my abs, which is an awesome feeling. It's so much easier to workout your arms and legs than abs, especially obliques, so I like feeling that. Yoga is a full body workout!

Lunch: 1/2 Enchilada
Supper: Vietnamese
Snack: Popcorn, 2 muffins, cookies and cream drops
Total Cals: 1502

Hmpf on seating when you go out to eat by yourself... Good thing I tend to eat earlier than most people and get to be rude back if they want to put me next to the toilets/in a walkway/in the darkest, dankest corner ;)

155.4 this morning
Very busy day at work today. Barely finished in time. My mom finally got the go ahead to buy a house and we had appointment set up with a realtor for 6. I didn't have enough time to go ride my horse or do any exercise. I only had time to make food and eat it. I was making Salsa chicken. I preheated the oven, thawed the chicken in the microwave, got all the ingredients together, put it on the chicken, put it into the oven, then realized I had made the completely wrong chicken recipe! Not that I accidentally pulled up the wrong recipe. Both these recipes I make by memory, I just made the wrong one without realizing it till it was in the oven! And they aren't even close to having the same thing in them, except one ingredient. I was so disappointed haha. It was my chicken wrap recipe I made and it was good but I was craving the salsa chicken.
Looked at houses till 7:30 then went to my friend's house. She wanted to do something, and I told her it had to be a walk since I didn't have time to exercise today! So we went for a 4.2km walk. It was really interesting to compare the speeds from yesterday to today. Yesterday it was between 8.5-9 mins/km and today was 11.59mins/km. Much more leisurely!
Came back home and had my snacks.
Tomorrow is official weigh in day. Hoping for a good one!

Lunch: 1/2 enchilada
Supper: Chicken wrap and potato
Snack: 2 sour cream muffins (my last ones), 2 kinder bars, 3 pieces cookies and cream
Total cals: 1496

First Mini Goal Weight: 160 by March 27 *Accomplished March 20th*
Second Mini Goal Weight: 144 by July 3
Final Goal Weigh: 125

Thanks guys. :)
Feeling really tired but I'm gonna push through it.
Got done work a little early today, had enough time to do a quick groom (mostly bath/blow dry/brush) on my poodle.
Rushed off to the barn to ride my horse. It was our first outside ride of the season (I think we went on a trail ride earlier but this was our first 'working' ride). He was pretty good, a bit heavy in the hand (and so I got a blister), but for how windy it was I thought he'd be a bit more 'wahoo!'
Drove back to the city to meet my mom to look at another house. She didn't really like it. We then went to Edo Japan for supper. It was a little early in the day for me to have supper but I knew I would be taking up some of my evening to exercise so wouldn't be sitting around wanting to stuff my face.
Got home, changed into my workout gear (I was very pink today in my workout clothes choices), and headed to the gym. Decided it would be a 'hill' day (I thought after I was done 'why didn't I run outside since it was so nice out' ). Did 35 mins (28 straight mins of running) speed of 5.0, distance of 2.79miles (4.49 kms), incline of 2.5, cal burn of 369. Did a 1 min 'sprint' at 6.5.

Lunch: 1/2 enchilada
Supper: Edo Japan
Snack: Popcorn, kinder chocolate bars, cookies and cream
Total Cals: 1501

154.8 this morning.
Today went ok, but could have gone better.
Got woken up at 7:55 as my groomer needed help with something (just had to send her a text, didn't have to get out of bed or anything). I didn't actually feel like I would be able to get back to sleep. Decided to get up, go to the bathroom and do my weigh in since it was close to my normal workday weigh in time. I then crawled back into bed and I did fall back asleep. Woke up briefly when my alarm went off at 9:30 to shut it off, then slept all the way until after 11 when I had a phone call (telemarketer call I didn't answer). And the whole rest of the day I had the groggy gross feeling of over-sleeping. Which is a little weird as I often sleep that late on the weekend, but I usually have my alarm on snooze so maybe I don't get into such a deep sleep as I'm being woken up every 9 mins.
I was on my computer in bed till around 12 before I could convince myself to get up, and put on my workout gear. Before I had gotten out of bed I had checked the temperature and it said it was only feeling like 2*c out so I thought that was too cold to run outside. Once I was changed though, I just really didn't feel like running on the treadmill. I didn't really feel like running at all, but the timing for yoga didn't work out and I REALLY didn't want to do the circuit training (which I MUST start to do again or find a suitable alternative), so I decided running outside it was.
I wore a shirt, thin long sleeve shirt, running jacket, and capri workout pants and was actually quite comfortable temperature wise. I initially thought that I would run 5 kms but my running app only tells me how far I am at each full km and my phone was in the back of my running jacket so I couldn't check on it to see when 2.5 km was to know if I needed to turn around. So instead I decided to run 6 km so I could turn around at the 3km mark. I was a hard run but I did it. I did 10-20 sec walk breaks every km which brought my average pace down a bit. I didn't include my walk warm up or cool down as I didn't want to further mess up my average pace.
6.04km (3.75 miles) Average pace 6.28mins/km (9.65mins/mile) which is about 5.8 treadmill speed. 543 cals burned according to mapmyrun.
Where the trouble lay with today is that I knew I was going to be having chinese food tonight, which was fine, I plan for higher cal meals on the weekend by eating a bit less during the week. HOWEVER, when I got home from running what I SHOULD have done was eat lunch, then change and head to the barn to ride my horse, but because of the groggy over-slept feeling I was still experiencing I instead potato'd on the couch. THEN I potato'd on the couch with chocolate! This added an additional 420 cals to my already high cal day. Thankfully, due to how I work my weekly cals, I still have 1750 cals for tomorrow, which is certainly doable as long as I am mindful.
Went to my mom's house with the chinese food. My niece's were down so spent some time with them, mostly while I was laying on the sofa, still feeling groggy. It was actually really good that I was at my mom's house till around 10:30 because if I had been at my house for a lot of the evening I do think it would have been really hard not to snack as we ate quite early (around 5:20) and I normally have several snacks after supper.

Lunch: Chicken wrap
Snack: Cookies and cream drops
Supper: Chinese food
Total Cals: 2695

Tomorrow I would like to try for a hot yoga class, but I'm not sure if timing will work out. I also need to ride.

Aiaiai... I´m at that very same point right now. Thanks for the warning, will be out and about soon. Good luck sticking to your calories tomorrow!

Thanks. I did well (eating wise anyway)

Stayed in bed till 11:30 (though awake between 10-10:30), wanted to get up and go to the barn and ride.... and instead I lazed like crazy around the house. Lazed around till about 2pm. Then decided I would go out for frozen yogurt before meeting my mom to look at a house she's interested in. I decided to try to look good so I straightened my hair, did my make up and tried on a couple jeans I couldn't fit into before. Both fit :) One I would probably want to wait a few more pounds because even though they don't feel at all tight my squishy fat looks muffin toppy.
I don't have a pic of my whole outfit but got some pics of the jeans on (sucking in my tummy of course). And a face pic.

Went and saw the house (which I think my mom will be putting an offer in on), and another house. I then stopped by the grocery store and picked up a couple things. Walking around in my outfit with my hair and make up done. Feeling like I looked good, feeling sexy. Only wish there had been more cute guys shopping ;) I can hide my problem areas now with the right clothing (except ole thunder thighs).
Then just plopped on the couch for the rest of the evening. I tried to get up the energy to take my dog for a walk but couldn't do it. I don't mind that I didn't exercise today as I did pretty well the rest of the week, I just don't like that I spent so much time doing absolutely nothing.

Lunch: Chicken Wrap
Snack: Frozen Yogurt
Supper: Sweet and sour chicken, potato
Snack: Popcorn, kinder bars, cookies and cream drops
Total Cals: 1747
Under my weekly cals.

Your thighs look perfectly normal honey, I´m guessing you´re just too used to focussing on them. Yay for the jeans!

You look great!!! You can really see your progress. Keep up the great work, rest when you need to rest, and double down when you can.
