Time to stick with it!!

OK so yesterday was pretty good - didn't accomplish all the goals I set out but it was a good start and I'm not getting discouraged - just going to try harder today.
Here's how it looked:
B - ff yogurt & all bran buds (150 cal)
Snack - 2 cups mint green tea
L - ham, egg & cheese sandwich (someone at work made them and it smelled so much better than the oatmeal I brought.) (approx. 500 cal)
Snack - 3 mandarin oranges (96 cal), 1 cup mixed frozen berries (70 cal)
Exercise - 1 hr on treadmill (5 min intervals switching between- 5.8 mph with incline 1 and 4.1 mph with incline 5). The distance wasn't working right or only counts 1 mile at a time because after all that it said 0.63 so I'm thinking it was 4.63 miles but I'm not sure. Burned 633 cals.
D - 1 1/2 cups Smart spagettini with home made sauce - ground pork, onions, garlic, whole tomatos & a can of Ragu sauce. (
Exercise - 10 min on the treadmill (85 cals burned), 10 min push-ups & crunches on the ball, arm exercises using 5 lbs weights.
Snacks - ok I know I said I wasn't going to but it's just not possible!!! I had a jello cup (5 cal), mandarian orange (32 cal) & 2 cups of watermelon (92 cal)
Way better than the snacks I picked before so I didn't feel too guilty! I drank lots of water too!
I weighed myself this morning for my new weigh in date and was 153.6 so I guess I have to change my ticker :( My goal is to be back at 151.6 by next week - I am going to try my best! Mind over matter I guess.

Sorry about your vacation doll!! :( ....Glad for the new treadmill though! I have weigh in today too...and yesterday I drank beer and 1/2 mini mini personal pizza...that's 2 times in one week. I've been swamped to log it all in, but today I hope!! Missed you!! Glad you are back on the grind and that you already smashed some water weight there!!

I was gonna avoid weigh in because...yeah ...I was yucky...but NO!!! BIGGEST LOSER is on tonight!! More motivation! ;)!!! BACK AT IT BABE!!! :D!!

Hey Alta! Don't skip the weigh-in! I changed my weigh-in day to be the same as yours so it motivates me and pushes me a little more since we are so close in weight! I'm sure you did great so get on the scale! If not it will push you harder this week!
I uploaded some pics from the holiday - still don't have any good comparisons because my friends scanner still isn't working.

Ok here are a couple more - I hate putting up pics of other people but I am too lazy today to crop them out or fuzz out their faces. hope they don't mind!

Lisa your back! I'm sorry your vacation was disappointing hun, but on the upside you looked gorgeous! Even though you gained since your shag you have SUCH a cute little body! I am so proud of you!

I am really glad your back to your diary and to your routine, I missed your posts and support, I definitly need it, you always make me feel better and stop feeling sorry for myself and always motivate me to just keep pushing forward, so I really appreciate your post!

I am so happy that your hunnie bought you that tredmill! What a sweeatheart! That is such great motivation, and I am so happy that you have someone so supportive in your life, you are going to do so great and kick so much butt this year and I want to be doing it with you. We've got this for sure! Your snacks last night were SUCh an improvement! I was so happy when I read them, you did great. I decided to just get out all tempations from my cupboards, i feel a little irrated since i spent my money on it, but it is so much better to just load up on fresh fruits and veggies and snack on those if we must snack and we will atleast not be putting crap into our bodies and not be feeling as guilty.

I hope your doing well today, keep up the amazing work!

I won't skip it!! ;) You look great!!! :D!!!!! Supppppperrrr!!! Alright!!! Let's do it!!!! MOTIVATION and POUNDS SMASHING here we come!!!!!!!!!!! :D!!!!

Thank you Alta and Janvier! However I don't agree with Janvier - cute little body? Not yet - but soon!
Ok so another day I am not totally proud of - I'm finding it really hard to get into my groove. I didn't make it to the gym again because of sharing a vehicle and I won't get there again tonight because I am getting picked up from work again. I really need the gym because the treadmill just doesn't do it for me.
Here's how yesterday looked:
B - skipped because I slept in and was 2 hours late for work!!
Snack - 2 mandarian oranges
L - ff yogurt & all bran buds
Part 1 of dinner - salad with mixed greens, shredded carrots, snow peas, green onions, chick peas, black olives, tomatos, celery, and ff dressing.
Exercise - 30 minutes treadmill (intervals of running & walking with incline - 2.5 miles and 314 cals burned). 3 sets of 12 push ups and pull ups on the ball.
Part 2 of dinner - chicken thigh with bone no skin, 3 baby red potatoes, onions & 1/2 cup corn niblets.
Snacks - jello cup, 2 cups watermelon, whole wheat triscuts (too many)
So I didn't eat enough during the day and ate too much between getting home from work and going to bed.
I wanted to work out more during Biggest Loser but I just couldn't get my ass off the couch - I am sooooo tired lately - my hunnie says I'm just being lazy but honestly I have never felt so lifeless for so many days in a row. I haven't even finished unpacking from my trip!! I thought increasing my water and getting moving would fix it but it doesn't seem to be helping. I barely made it out of bed today and wanted to call in sick so bad and just sleep all day. My hunnie needed the car so pushed me out of bed and drove me to work on time. I just don't feel myself and hate it.
I was going to start counting calories instead of WW points but have been having a really hard time with it - I think because I don't have a computer at home it doesn't make it any easier in the evenings - like last night I couldn't figure out how many cals my dinner or salad were and it got my frustrated. If I have some time today I am going to write out a list of the things I eat often and put the calorie amount down beside it so I have a better idea than just making guesses.
I am going to try harder today and not get discouraged. I got a large vanilla cappuccino this morning which is some where around 300 calories!! Not a good start but I plan to do better! I was just so tired and don't like coffee and wanted something warm and delicious - it was really good but not needed! Didn't even wake me up - so now I am drinking my green tea and hopefully that will do the trick. Ok time to read some journals and get some motivation!

Hey you!!! You sound very typical of someone who just came back from a holiday. Give yourself a little credit. Your body has just been through a lot, the time change alone is enough to throw you off. It's always a little sad when you come back, even if the holiday wasn't as great as you'd expected... it was still time away from "real life".

My girlfriend said something last night that made me think of you... "you're only 1 thought away from happiness". It means that it really only takes one thought to change from misserable to fabulous :) Give yourself this week to just get yourself back into the swing of lreal ife... enjoy a nice weekend, and then change your thoughts back to ones of health.

Don't be so hard on yourself... you'll be back at it in no time :)

Hey Lisa, it's OK! I think you did great yesterday. I'm sure you were in a good calorie range even if you felt like you weren't. Considering you didn't get breakfast, it probably balanced out for you. You got on the treadmill and moving, so that is good! I have felt so lazy too... I think it's these winter blues. Makes ya not want to do anything! Counting calories can be hard but once you get the hang of things you usually eat, you don't have to look everything up. I bought myself the 'Counting Calories for Dummies' book which has a bunch of restaurants plus all your veggies, fruits, breads, poultry, whatever. I like caloriecount.com, I use that sometimes.

I hope you have a good day... and remember, even though you went backwards a little, you can get back to where you were before and look at how far you have come already.... keep your chin up, try not to get stressed about it.... you have all the time in the world to lose this weight... if it doesn't come off as fast as you'd like to... it's okay! As long as you stick to this... it WILL happen!

Lisa, you look super in your pics! Try not to be so hard on yourself. I'm sure you'll be back on track before you know it. Look at where you've come from..... you have accomplished alot so don't get to discouraged about a little set back. You can do this!:hurray:

Your not allowed to disagree with me missy! You have to be kidding me, your body is so cute! You have come such a long way and you look amazing, trust me you do! It can be easy to lose sight of where we came from compared to where we are now, I stuggle with the same thing, but you do look great! And it will only get more cute from here on out so get used to the compliments lol.

Don't be too down on your self, you really didn't do very bad at all, even though you did some snacking after work you did healthy snacking which is great and skipping breakfast probably evened out those triscuts. It is SO hard to get back into the swing of things after a vacation, I think that was my problem too, I was getting too used to having snacks ready and available at all times. But even though your not getting to go to the gym you are really buring those calories on your new tredmill, huge calories at that, you were burning more then 100 every 10 minutes! it takes a little bit more effort to get into your routine again but I think your off to a good start. We still have days in the week left for you to make a turn around, so don't write this week off just yet and start fresh this afternoon. You will totally make a comeback! Stay strong and motivated!

Thanks Sarah - I'm going to look into that book - I think it would be really helpful. I for sure wasn't in my range yesterday because I think I ate 600 calories worth of triscuts!:reddevil:
I believe too that it WILL happen.

Thanks Mrskt20!! I do think I look good in some of the pics! And I did feel pretty fit compared to my sisters and their friend. I can do this! Thanks for the encouragement!

Thanks Janvier - you are so right and I have started the day fresh and am feeling much better going forward! Thanks for the motivation! I plan to have a great workout tonight to help with my mood! I need it!

You enjoyed it, that's the main thing :) no point in taking holidays if you wont let yourself enjoy them!!

And as you said, you're back on it now... no doubt you'll start losing again in no time, so keep it up! x

Well the truth is getting back into it is tough and there's no easy way about it. But another truth is you will feel great after 2 weeks of toughing it out. So come on girl, dig deep and give us 2 hard weeks! You can do it! :D

And don't forget about my "suggestion" with the treadmill at home. If you keep finding it hard to push yourself on that treadmill, just try logging 20 mins of brisk walking on that treadmill. Trust me, on a bad day that will actually brighten your mood and give you a confidence booster. You'll feel like you actually accomplished something in the exercise department. And you'll make your BF happy because you are using the treadmill he bought for you. ;)

Aww, I'm sorry the trip wasn't wonderful :( You did get some great pics tho, love the bird ones! Now that you're back, you can kick it into high gear again :) you'll be where ya wanna be in noooo time.

Too many snacks again :smash: otherwise it would have been a good day!
Here's how it looked:
B - lg vanilla cappuccino (300cal) ff activia yogurt (80cal)
Snacks - 2 cups mint green tea (0 cal)
L - big salad - same as dinner yesterday w ff dressing (190)
Snacks - 2 mandarian oranges (64)
D - 3 oz boneless pork chop w seasonings (240) fried red potatos (left overs from dinner yesterday = 1 lg red potato w ketchup (350) 1 cup stemmed broccoli (25) w white balsamic vinegar (5)
Exercise - 42 min treadmil, 3.2 miles, 420 cals burned (intervals with incline & speed)
Snacks - 1 jello cup, 1 choc pudding cup & 7 blackberries (put them all together in a bowl - yum!) (105 cals)
Should have stopped there and gone to bed!!!!!:smash:
10 Saltines & home made raspberry jam
3 slices cheddar cheese

Ok I think because I haven't been going to the gym after work and eating dinner earlier than normal it is extra hard for me not to snack. I would like to just have 1 100 cal snack after dinner and before bed so that will be my mission tonight!
I ordered a couple things for my wedding online today and I am getting really excited about it - hopefully it will give me some motivation so sweat more! Just haven't been in the mood lately and have been forcing myself to do the treadmill - last night I almost gave up after 30 minutes but I really wanted to do 5km and aim to do that every day! Tonight I am unsure about the gym - I brought my bag to work so that is a step - just have to get it in my mind and then walk through the door I guess - after that I will be good.
hope everyone has a great day! Gotta get some work done!

Thanks Derrick - I really want to do it but it's so hard - last night I kept saying to myself - ok Lisa you can do this - just one night of not snacking and then you will be good - and I just couldn't do it - so silly really. I will give two good weeks in due time!! I promise! Just getting my mojo back.
