Day 4 and I'm feeling better. Headache is still there, but it's much milder than yesterday (have had this darn headache for 7 days now, am a bit over it!). I think it's related to the weather, it's stormy here today which usually results with a headache (which is such a shame, I love rain). Exercise wise, I didn't do much. Did a bit of weeding, fed the horses, and ... that was it.
Today's eatings were good:
B: nothing, I ran out of everything!
L: small slice of home made lasagna (mum special)
S: Breakfast - porridge with honey + cinnamon (finally got some milk)
D: Steak, steam veg + potato. No sauce. Delish!
S: Cocochoco. Home made and yum! Tea with no sugar.
E: Weeding, and general plodding about.
W: Still the same as yesterday. Can't complain, at least it didn't go up!
Oaks - how are you!

Yes the chocolate is so rich, but so beautiful. Melts in your mouth - yum!
Cate - it doesn't last as long as you think

but I don't feel nearly as guilty about it. My fresh batch is made with less sugar and much nicer. I had 2.5 small pieces and I am regretting 1.5 of them LoL! They just didn't fit into the container, so they had to be eaten....
I have just read another thread with a recipe for chia pudding.. I might just have to give this a go, even though Chia seeds are so expensive, it looks deliciously worth it. Yum! No exercise for me today, it was really humid for most of the day, which I spent preparing for this 'great storm', then the rest of the arvo inside making 2 weeks work of dog food side dishes (that's right, she has side dishes). This dog eats better than I do! So I have a freezer half full of rice/veggies/meat mixed up ready to go along side her Kangaroo meat. One day I'll get round to doing some meal prep myself.. actually I might just jump on pinterest for some ideas before bed (I am a bit addicted to this app..). I seem to be missing lunch (unless I happen to be at mums at the right time..). Porridge really fills me up til about 3-4pm.
The wild weather is here to stay until Sunday, when I plan on doing some fencing in the paddocks. I should also squeeze in a walk on Sunday, as Monday I have work, and the rest of the week I am at a workshop.
Another day, another snack to be had. I love watching the cooking shows with mum, it makes us feel like we can cook anything. Truth is, mum can, but I count myself lucky if I get the right porridge to milk ratio right. I am well known for burning, over boiling, and general destroying of food. Unless it's a dessert, then I have no worries. I wonder how I ever got overweight ...........
