Some days will be good, some days will be bad...and there will be varying degrees of each and varying reasons. Based on what I have read thus far, you have already started learning the correct info about calories and the need for you to have just enough.

Good Job on the 20lbs lost, and good luck on your endeavors. You'll definitely learn a lot and get a lot of support here.
 
Well, tomorrow morning is my first official weigh in since joining WLF. I am anxious, but not too much because I think I have done really well. I did get in an enormous fight with my husband and I bought a can coke and drank it. The small victory is that in the past, I would have bought a One Liter AND some chocolate. (I drank the can and still stayed within my calorie limit for the day).

I got some more workout videos so I am sure not to get bored...and I got a new yoga mat. I am not sure about my calories today as I ate lunch at Taco Bell, but I did not have dinner, so I am sure I was under.

Holly, I don't currently have Yahoo! or any other tyoe of messenger, but I may just have to download it. (The last two times I put Yahoo! messenger on my computer, it slowed it way down. )

By the way, where is YOUR diary? Am I missing it somehow?
 
Hi Tiffany! I am glad that you wrote in your diary... I was beginning to think you had left us... :(

Anyway, yay for having a variety of workout videos! Good job not over doing it when you were mad with your husband.

Forgot to add my weigh in:

March 23- 233! I lost weight!! I can now weigh myself fully clothed after eating and STILL weigh less than I did last week nude and with an empty tummy!

YAY! Gonna go chart ito n the weight loss chart thread.

Well, I just got back from my third workout today. It really felt good...I think I like working out in the evenings much better than in the mornings. I kinda twisted my knee today. It is a teeny bit swollen and a little warm, but it doesn't really hurt...I am just more aware of it.
I added a little more body movement during the day. I put on some peppy music and get my kiddos to dance with me while we do the housework. They are 1, 2, and 3 years old, so they LOVE it! It's like a triple threat: I get the housework done, I get to play with the kids, and I get the added cardio all at once. You can't beat that.:) We had a ladies meeting at our church tonight and one of the women just kept going on about what a difference she can see in me already. WOW-It felt so wonderful--I get giddy just thinking about it right now! This transformation is so amazing. I am still mystified as to why I waited so long to do it. I guess it only works when the time is right, eh?

Today I would estimate I had about 1650 calories.
Exercise:
10 minutes Pilates
10 minutes TaeBo
Lifted weights in the morning and again this evening
10 minutes recumbent bike
10 minutes on the Elliptical machine
 
WOW your exercise looks great! You're doing a fantastic job! :) It's so cute that you got your kids to dance around with you... that's adorbale. :):)

You should probably get your knee looked at... it doesn't sound good and knees are sensitive things that you should be careful about! Anyway, I hope it feels better tomorrow!

THats cute about dancing w/ your kids, your showing your kids excersize doesnt' have to be boaring, it can be fun!

And yes, we all have days that can be emotionally draining - they come and go, the good news is they come less often ;)

Well, I didn't do so hot on my calories yesterday. I am sure I had WAY too few. We had a babyshower during lunch time and the only thing they had that I was willing to eat was baby carrots and celery sticks.(everything else had olives in it...ewwwww) I did not even have a sniff of the cake. It seems that resisting things like that is getting so much easier. Most of the time I am not even tempted by them anymore...MOST of the time. :) I did not exercise yesterday either. I was so sore and worn out from lifting weights the night before that I took that as a clue to let my muscles rest a day.

Yesterday:
breakfast: scrambled eggs with green pepper and onions
Water
Lunch: a handful of carrot sticks and one celery stick.
Snack:bowl of whole grain cereal/whole milk--I was out of lowfat milk
Dinner: Turkey sandwich and about 6 chips.

Since I skipped the workout yesterday, I'll have to make sure to squeeze one in today which is usually my day off.
 
yea, you were low in cals, but you'll have days like that, no biggie.

GLad food isnt' tempting you like it used too! Hope you enjoy today's workout!
 
Well, we are leaving for a week in just a few hours. I am promising myself that I will not ruin what I have accomplished this week. Eventhough I will be away and have other cooking great food for me...I will not overindulge. I will exercise even though it would be so easy to laze around all day. 232 is my leaving weight.

I hope you all have a greta week and lose lots of weight. See ya soon.
 
have a great trip... remember one week can't ruin all your hard work - do the best you can and rememeber to get right back on the horse when you're back..
 
Thanks for all the well wishes for my trip. We had an absolutely WODERFUL time! I can hardly wait for next year.

AND--I did not lose any weight, but I stayed exactly the same, so that is MUCH better than what I was expecting! Wooo-Hooo! Now it is back on the horse like you said...or at least on the Pilates mat and the weight bench!
