ok what a bingeworthy weekend.
erk! i ate diddly all morning saturday and binged out hard at my daughters party. Not sure on calories, but probably wasnt as bad as it could have been seeing as i ate hardly anything the rest of the day.
Sunday we went to see hte new house which included McDonalds, and packets of chippies for the travel (its a couple hours each way), and coffees, etc.

No exercise. Suckage major!

Saw the new house though. Its super fantastic!

I opened it up, pulled out the flat cardboard, made the box up and then sat looking at it.

I think i got the wrong size ...... its about big enough to ALMOST put a breakfast bowl into ..... not particularly good for moving house :/

Hmmm sounds like a inches/centimeters issue. We get that a lot over here, even NASA who lost a Mars orbiter because of it...

Good luck with the move, at least the cereal bowls will be safe!

hehe yeah im totally stoked about the house. it is huge! looks smaller though in the video because it was zoomed slightly and theres no furniture :)

Stress is the name of the game today though - seriously!
 
Love the house, Liz. That rain is crazy...looks like you'll have a lot of yard work to do when it dries up. More ways to burn cals...
 
oh nah they havnt laid the grass due to the rain and floods. the house is brand spanking new. so yeah once they lay the grass i guess ill ahve to water it, but atm its great and low maintance! :D:D

Hey there Liz I so love your house!!!!!!!!1I am a bathroom,kitchen person and thats the 1st thing I loved the way the tub and sink was shaped and the island in the middle of the kitchen.Lol your daughter is very excited and great with the cart wheels my girls cant go outside without doing a cartwheel or 2 haha.ty for stopping by and the warm baby boy wishes .Oh Love the pink shoes to yeah I was catching up.:party:
 
wow what a beautiful house and what a fun way to share it:) It looks huge to me! The bathrooms are really pretty and the big windows are really great. How fun! We just moved out of state so I am totally feeling you on the packing, selling, throwing, moving. It is crazy but what a beautiful and wet place to end up;) That's some rain. Wish it would rain here a bit.... lol

Ive been busy consuming calories and declining job offers. Ive had more job offers since i decided to move house. and it seems everyone wants to wine and dine us before we leave.
Night before last i had a $30 steak dinner and drinks with friends, then last night it was curry followed by cafe fodder. Lunch today was leftover butter chicken.
Its been totally Crazy. Anyway if im not online much in the next couple of weeks its because we are packing and moving.
A skip turns up tomorrow to throw trash into, i have boxes for packing, and friends coming over to sell some shit online for me :)
 
when it rains job offers it pours - that's really exciting you've gotten so many -nice to know there are options if you want 'em... :D
 
well, kinda annoying, i acceted the other job so now im getting heaps of cooler ones and i cant accept them without having to hand notice at the other one lol.

EIther way its not so much the job but the lifestyle change :D

So spent the day today cleaning the oven, and smashing stuff.

Lots of calorie burning goes into smashing things. the whole family got into it! All the old crap and furniture that was to crap to sell we smashed flat and put into the skip.

"Hey kids! ever wanted to see what was inside a stereo?!" their faces lit up as they jumped into it and smashed it all then threw it into the skip. 3 sets of old drawers.
 
man eating is outta control a tad from just having to eat take outs all the time. Trying to stay good but yeah, i figure ill gain a bit and have to loose a bit.

Ive driven about 160km today dropping things off. 2 desks, a computer, 2 HUGE boxes of books, filled the 5 cubic mtr skip with junk.
The cleaning and packing is going well. we have another couple of days of this and it should be done by weds night. then thursday morning i take a load down to the new house of computers and tvs etc. We spend the night at a friends that night and friday morning the truck turns up. Then we are unpacking.

Apparently there isnt any broadband where we are moving to so dialup it is for a month or two :(

Ed: just noticed pouring rain predicted for friday. what a cock! only because we are moving. Thursday looks better which is when we're taking the tvs and computers so thats ok at least :)

Oh nooeess. I dont think I could do that again (maybe there is 3g in the area and you could piggy back off your cell?)... But I do miss running my Wildcat BBS board back in the day.
 
hah 3g is a joke here, $10 for 1MB ! Reminds me of the good old days of internet :)

I think id prefer dialup. But we will have fibre no doubt at the office so its fine :)
