A BBQ at 32 degrees F doesn't soound so appealing to me. I have a really difficult time holding it together at big family events -- there's so much good food there, and it's easy to wolf down 3,000 calories without even thinking about it.

Can't wait to see the pics of you in your mini!

Usually i dont have too much problem, but yeah this time it was cold, there was nothing to do but eat, i didnt know anyone so couldnt really talk. Pretty much everything was centered around drinking booze or eating.

Missed my bike ride tonight *grr*

Husband didnt make it home in time. peeved me right off too.
Been sticking to no flour mostly veges and fruit for the last couple days. Calories are lowish but not overly low (intentionally). Hopefully this will counter act the shit i ate over the weekend. Tomorrow ill be back on normal food, though still extra veg/fruit though.
Funny how you can eat the same amount of calories in fruit and veg and still be starving hungry, and yet eat that in meat/breads/etc and be full lol.
I think its probably mental, and cravings more than "full" feeling :D

With me it's the reverse. If I eat a 500 calorie salad, I'm stuffed for hours, but 4 pieces of sourdogh is merely an appetizer.

Hey Wishes, I find the meat satisfies me the most and bread the least. Fruit and veggies are somewhere in between. I'm not a carb counter, but I guess that probably makes some sense.

I am totally with ya with eating veggies and fruits you never really
have that satisfied full feeling but when you hit the carbs meats you
get that satisfaction.I can eat a healthy choice meal and my veggies
and about 1 hour later I feel starved,but eating 2-3 pieces of pizza
I won't be hungry for atleast 4 hours.Anyway I keep saying it will pass,

i find for optimal "fullness" factor i have to eat a good balence of carbs, protien, fats.
If i nix one for a day i end up craving it.

well today i haave started badley lol. Oatmeal for breaky, followed by second breakfast of pancakes (tiny ones .. but still bad).
Good thing i have my veges for lunch, less guits lol.
the pancakes was a craving for flour i think, i went halfs with a workmate.
 
Im getting increasingly frustrated with poor weather and being unable to get out to do stuff. Also with yet another plateau, no loss yet this month. In fact i gained this week(through overeating at a party on the weekend .. should go easy)
Unfortunatly the gain puts me back in the 'over the threshold' of that BMI should the hospital scales weigh me in heavy (which they do) so i wont be able to donate the kidney... grrr

Now we have a cold snap coming. I may just end up doing laps around the loop by my house which is semi safe to ride at night. Rain or shine it will get me some more riding in and exercise.

I can ride in rain, but not wind .. it knocks me over (the gusts).
Man i must be having PMS or something, my hormones are way outta whack.
Im depressed, not loosing, etc

On a brighter note, i did find out i think why im heavier, and i dont mean the bland 'its just muscle because muscle weighs heavy' crap which to a point is true, but doesnt explain it all.

Im Mesomorphic, that means built more like a body builder. I have huge shoulders, tiny waist.

I hope u get out of the depressed state soon....could it be the weather dats making u so cranky? I get it when it's hot and humid like this whole week. along with TOM of cos.
 
yeah could be the weather, also lack of exercise this week is driving me insane :)

Sorry about the disobliging weather ... and all the other rubbish!! No doubt there will be a rubbish collector along soon.

I bought some more thermal cycling pants last night that i can ill afford atm. Ive also decided to invest in some running shoes as running is a bit easier than cycling in the shit weather (less dangerous also).
