Hi T2,
Sorry to hear about your continuing medical problems. I have heard you say on a number of occasions that you had it easier than most because you did not have as many distractions or commitments to interfere with your weight loss but I think that you are underestimating yourself and your accomplishments. It sounds like you had and continue to have plenty to sidetrack you. Fortunately you have persevered and worked though all of it to get to were you are today; 148 pounds lost. Congratulations and keep up the good work, you are an inspiration to many, including myself, on this board.
Looks like you have a better idea of your heaviest weight now. Good job on reaching 235.
Have a good day
Being a poker player, I gotta play the hand that was dealt to me - or in this case, I dealt myself. I have no excuse for letting myself get that way.
If my diary does anything at all, I hope it changes (even if only one) young mind(s) to get fit now before it's too late. They know not the suffering ahead of them.
Thanks for the kind post and dude, I'm still looking forward to your century mark !! pretty exciting stuff.
Hi! Wanted to congratulate you on the AMAZING job you are doing on weight loss! That is fabulous!
I am so sorry to hear about you set back and hope you mend soon! I can't do much either right now, but not for the same reasons. I don't know how you feel, but know how frustrating it is! Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
I hope you continue to recover quickly!
Thank you M2MK. The infection rate is usually pretty fast healing once the yucky stuff is drained, the incision takes about 3 weeks to close. Actually it's being forced open right now to ensure proper drainage. Thank you for mind-bending in my direction and I'll do the same for you on your mission.
Hey T2! *BIG HUGS* I'm with M, take this time to take care of yourself. I'm super proud of how far you've come and I,as you do, see a direct correlation between your weight loss and the need for these procedures so be proud of the time you are adding back onto your life. You are a true inspiration around these parts, you've done much to help me and I hope to be able to return the favor....though I know I'm not as good at it as you, but I'll keep trying! *more hugs*
Will do OHD. I instantly felt better seeing the *pom poms* gracing my thread *\o/* You're the bestest on here for inspiring with your 'can do' spirit.
wow thats a massive lost! congrats.
I had a carbuncle years ago, and my husband did also, only nobody ever told us what it was (I just googled it now because id never heard of it). They are aweful and i wish you luck sorting it out.
but on the other side
WOOOO 148lb!!!!!
Thanks Wishy

I read your diary often and wonder how much better I'd be off if I had your energy and exercise ethic. I know soon I'll bust out into a much more intense exercise routine because you're living proof of the benefits from sheer determination and ambition.
You never let your size set you back on going forward. People should know I absorb more than I 'toot my own horn' on here. You have placed a part of your efforts inside of me for the continuing passion we share for a common goal. I still awe at your workouts.
Hey T..........sorry to hear about the lancing........that sucks!!!! My Ma is a diebetic.....she takes insulin 4 times a day and her sugar is usually around 250on a good day!!!! She is really active and stuff but she does not eat well, she will have a diet coke and a donut! And when we go out to eat sometimes she will forget to take her insulin shots............yeah forget....she has had diabetes since she was 26 when she had my younger brother, thats what caused the onset, the Dr.s said she would have gotton it eventually. My grampa had it, my greatgrampa had it and now my ma.......some how despite my weight i have managed to elude it!!!!! How ever on my dad's side the women live into their 100's I had a great great great grama in Nebraska that lived to be 106, in fact on her 100th birthday the town she lived in turned 100too and she got to be in the town parade.......rode in a yellow ragtop corvet with her bonnet on!!! LOL we have 6 generations alive right now with my kids, well this is hella long!!!! But get better tough guy, my thoughts are with ya bro!!!!! later on......STAR
hehe, I love a good Star story as much as anyone. No need for me to beat on your Mom's drum. She's an 'old pro' at this game. All I can say is how great my numbers since I changed my lifestyle however I obviously still have the 'related illness' aspect running rampant through me
6 living generations is extremely rare and something to boast about !! My G'ma made it to 104 and never got the 6 gen sticker, just 5. Sure is nice to know you have longevity on your side.
Thanks for the well wish hun.
Yikes on the carbuncle.. I didn't know what they were until a quick google. Looks very painful Take care of yourself & feel better soon!!
And 148lb?! Holy moly that's like another person!

I can't wait til I loose a whole person too.

Have a super weekend!!
Thank you Amy

I couldn't wait either to lose my 'other person' but I never believed I couldn't do it. I see you doing this and girl are you gonna luv it !! I read your diary enough to she you shine on your landmark events and I always smile when you bubble forth
Sooner than later, you'll be getting hit on by Mr. H and I and J and K .....
