Food Channel Babes eh

I find Cat Cora a hottie in the chef world. It's just me - honestly.

Giada De Laurentiis is much hotter but I'm waiting for the right pic.

I did watch Rachael Ray's premier one hour talk show this morning - and I thought the Tony Danza show (that was replaced for this show) was bad View attachment 1521

Oh well, Rachael is name dropping Oprah and her appearance so I'm guessing Harpo Industries is behind Rachael, otherwise, why would would she appear ??

On a scale of 1 to 10, this show sucked.
 
Ack - aside from Oprah, I don't recognize any of those names!

I don't watch TV - I have Blue Screen. When you turn on my TV, all you get is a blue screen ;) No cable. No basic. No nothing!

We went from having Digital Cable with every channel out there and I started paying attention to what TV actually got watched. Sometimes, Bob would channel surf, but he got his news online. I didn't watch any and Megan watched Scooby Doo every morning.

Close to $900 a year was being spent for my daughter to watch Scooby Doo.

Ummmm...No. ;)

So we pulled the plug over a year ago. We netflix, but we don't get any cool cooking shows!

And when people start talking about any new show, I am completely in the dark!
 
Trucker, I can't stand Rachel Ray. I'm glad you watched the show for me and now I don't have to ever watch it. Yes, Oprah is producing Rachel's show and if I'm not mistaken also putting together a magazine. If you are in with Oprah, the world is at your fingertips. She also produces Dr. Phil. In Pittsburgh, Dr. Phil got ousted to CBS at 3 p.m (opposite General Hospital) and Rachel took his time slot on our ABC affiliate. As long as she doesn't cross Oprah, she should be ok. I really can't stand her fake cheerleader-ish approach to life. My mom and I have tried her 30-minute-meals and they've taken us WAY longer than 30 minutes to even prep!

I love Cat Cora, she's the best. Giada gets on my nerves, too. If only because she's so skinny. How can you trust a skinny chef? And, she has a funky wide smile. I wish they'd give Cat her own show. I love Paula Deen, too. I sit at home and watch the Food Net late at night when I can't sleep. It doesn't help when they show all those yummy foods! Not one bit!!
 
I love watching Iron Chef! Much prefer the Japanese version, but all I can find is the American one... Alton Brown et al it is, then. :)

I LOVE IRON CHEF!!!! Cat Cora is one of my favs. And Bobby Flay, what a hottie!

M2M- I would love not to have TV, but my husband and daughter would freak. It is so expensive, right around $70 for cable. geez!!

LoL !! Tell me how you REALLY feel !! I'm still lmfao over the 'skinny chef' comment - completely hilarous yet dislodging my ponder sensor all at the same time *hmmm*

Rachael's pics in FHM Magazine made me ill for several days. I regret ever looking at them :(

Paula Deen is a Goddess in my home and her av got bumped for Cat :(

ALLEZ CUISINE!! Nothing beats the original Iron Chef - NOTHING. American version completely blows and shoulda never been made. A complete insult to a legendary show. Sorry, I gotta call 'em like I see 'em.

I have every Good Eats memorized - sad huh.

I watched Bobby Flay on TV before Food Channel was aired, for the life of me I can't remember on what channel tho :( I didn't even know what Cilantro was until he made his way on TV.

I always enjoyed Ming Tsai a lot but I guess he wasn't what the viewers wanted.

I never considered either a hottie, but then why would I ?? hehe

oh yeah, 94.45 for my cable bill - a bit harsh. That includes my internet but out of a 65 channel package, 50 of them are totally worthless.

I managed to get in a 3 hour nap and I just tested my bloodsugar to see if there was any damage from pulling a 24 hour wake and it was at 94 so no collateral damage to speak of.

good luck w/ that! Theres nothing worse than getting your sleep goofed up!

I used to drive my hubby nuts w/ me going shopping at 1 am or so...but I LOVED the quiet of the night, and no kids! It was great!
