Hello, everyone! Thanks of thinking of me while I was away from the forum. I am back to work today. The surgery went pretty good on that day. I had some problems healing a little because of the way my arm was positioned in surgery, I had a sore tendon that extended from my palm all the way up my arm, but that is much better now, I can lift my arm above my head now thank goodness. Due to my line of work the doctor felt that I should completely heal and not be around inmates or inside of the prison, so that is why my stay was extended. I wasn't excited about getting back to work, but I did enjoy my time home with my kids for the last 3 weeks.
I haven't been eating the same. It is like when I am home and not on a set schedule, I don't eat the same. When I wake up, I usually don't eat, and don't think about it. My first week out, I dropped like 9 pounds. After about a week and a half, I gained half of it back, but I also think most of that is water weight because I have been consuming quite a bit of sodium, and not much water. I couldn't really exercise without irritating my incisions and my baby was doing enough of that by wanting to be picked up, and tackling me whenever he wanted to play. The doctor forgot part of the stitching in my arm and I am contemplating on whether I should just pull it out myself. I don't want to have to pay another co-pay to get him to do it. It hurt even when he did it so I don't know.
Thanks for your concern and i am glad to be back. I have a lot of catching up to do!
