Thanks Amber, as for the trainer it was only a one day free trial with him. Going to wait until later to decide if I want to pay for one on one training. Maybe when I hit the dreaded "PLATEAU" I'll ask for help from him. lol

Thanks Kate, Yes the after workout pain is a great feeling. It makes me feel that I am accomplishing something. I had to laugh to myself about your comment about the involuntary noises. I know exactly what you mean.lol
 
I would take involuntary noises over some of the faces I pull when working out! :p Great job on the weightloss hunter, 3lbs is a awesome loss, if you keep that up you won't be here long, hope you're feeling accomplished! :biggrinjester:
 
didn't workout tonight. took my wife out for dinner for her birthday. So will possibly do double time tomorrow to make up. (maybe)......
 
Come back and tell us how the double time went. I worked out for the last two days I've lost. It almost killed me, but I'm glad I did it. Good luck with the long workout!!
 
yeah the double didn't workout so well. After my BodyStep class I was just to damn worn out to hit the weights. I did how ever go for a short run prior to the class since I had some time before the class started.
 
Good day at the gym tonight started out with a 30 min run on the inside track. Ran 3.23 miles. 5k time was 28.51. Then I hit the weights. Kinda mixed it up tonight with the weights since I missed Monday. Worked on my biceps and Triceps.
 
I love your user name. I have lived in a house said to be haunted.. and never saw a thing. But family and visitors reported sightings. Every hospital I worked in had a 'grey lady' and once again Dopey Dumpy saw absolutely nothing
 
lol awesome. but my user name doesn't come from Ghost so to speak but rather the nickname of the whitetail deer. If you ever deer hunt and see a deer in the early morning it looks like a grey ghost moving softly through the timber. Really awesome to see.

Well done on the gym work. Can't wait to want to work out. I just walk the bloody dogs at the moment. I want to go running, just not ready :( I use to run all the time, was addicted and loved it now all I can think about is how terrible i'll look trying to wobble my way along lol
 
GGH, look at that 5k runtime. That's awesome buddy. I wish I could run like that. You're doing so well. Never hunted , but your description makes me want to go hunting. I would probably be terrible at it. :)

Last night with BodyAttack night. I'm Really starting to get a hang of the routine now. Still wares my ass out thou. lol
Again before the class I had time to do a quick 1 mile run. Ran it in 9:16 min.
Tonight I'm doing my 30 min run then weights.
 
Hi :)

Reading diaries this evening, yours included, has inspired me to get my butt out of a run. I can remember the first time I did 5km in under 30 mins (my darling brother dragged me out to do it, I had been happily gentle jogging, not caring what time I did!) I thought I was gonna pass out on the side of the road and throw up lol but that made me want to improve my time and I think I got it down to about 28.15..................That was a long time ago thought. Anyway, you've motivated me to get back at it.

Morning GGH how are you doing? I'm getting on with the walking, went a tad too far yesterday, got home though but very creaky today. Went go further than the bird table this morning. We have a warbler who is eating us out of house and home
 
Good morning miss D. Did some walking myself on Sat. Walked the timber line looking for Mushrooms to cook up and eat. Sounds like you and me both have a little bird visitor. I have a blue bird that seems to be in love with my truck. Everyday he is on my side mirrors making a mess all over the mirrors and down the side of my doors. Yesterday I put some plastic bags over the mirrors to maybe try to deter him away from it. I haven't seen him yet since then but I'm sure he is around somewhere. He also hangs off of my house windows, so I know I'll see him soon.
 
Had a rough one tonight. Had no motivation to go to the gym but I forced myself to go. In the end it turned out great. Started with a 30 min run which I ran 3.3 miles and a 5k time of 28:16 min. woo woo. getting better.
After my run I did weights working on biceps and triceps.
Feeling pretty good after my workout.....
 
Yay!! I am glad you decided go to even though you had no motivation. I have those mornings. When I wake up right before the alarm and dread until the alarm goes off. Then I turn it off and lie awake staring at the ceiling debating whether I should go or not. I do go, but I wish I wouldn't feel that dread and that dilemma. I know I would be so so miserable if I didn't go. But in the end, I do go and I feel great after!

Talking about bird visitors. There's a long-tailed bird that visits my pup. She swooops down and teases my puppy. They chase each other. I keep telling my boyfriend they're flirting with each other. And my puppy loves the attention and loves chasing after her. I am absolutely fascinated by their inter-species love.
 
Good day yesterday.
Did a 1 mile run prior to class. Then as I have for the past 4 weeks, did Les Mills BodyStep class. Kicked my ass as always....lol... But its getting better. Really starting to get the routine down now so I kinda know what to expect as we go along.
After I got home from the gym went on a 2 mile walk with the wife. We live in the country so when we walk it is a very nice view with all the trees, fields and wildlife.
 
30 min run tonight. No personal best. Took it easy and just went with the groove. Still cleared 3.2 miles thou..
After my run I did weights working on Triceps and Chest.
Got home and went mushrooming in my timber for about 30 min. Didn't find any.......:(:(
 
Mushrooming sounds fun. Sorry you didn't find any. Better luck next time? I have to be honest, every time you mention mushrooms and mushrooming, I go hmmmmm......

Well anyways, last night was a killer. Went to the gym and did my 1 mile run then did BodyAttack class.
Tonight will be a 30 min run and then working on shoulders with the weights.
Diet is going good minus having a couple days where I was having cravings in the evening right before going to bed. But I held strong and didn't let the cravings get to me.
