The Tattooed Lady

A friend of mine thinks caffeine is causing my headaches, which it does make since since I went from 3 cups of coffee to 1 cup a day, but if that was the case then I would have them all the time since I used to drink almost a whole pot at night when we used to have the shop open, but I don't know. The friend suggested I do an experiment and drink 2 cups in the morning for 4 weeks then drop down to 1 cup. Greene on the other hand thinks I'm reaching with the caffeine theory. This morning I did drink 2 cups instead of 1 so I'm not off to a good start so far, but it's early and I can make up for it later.

I'm almost out of cereal, but think I'm just gonna pitch the boxes. I can live without it, plus there are more healthier choices I could have. Woke up later than usual since Greene is in Indy, so I had a bowl of that instead of something else and my schedule is gonna be thrown off a bit, but will have to work around that.
 
I can see caffeine withdrawal causing headaches, yes, but migraines I think are another story altogether.
 
Yes so do I because when I get them it's the usual symptoms nausea, sensitivity to light and sound. Basically what I told the dr in Ft. Wayne. I would think the caffeine withdrawal headace would be different.

I'm not going with the caffeine idea, because if that was the case, like I stated before, I would've had them months and months ago constantly like now, but it didn't happen, so sorry no go with me, but I will give the friend credit, he was trying to help, plus send me 3 links on caffeine.

Ok now that we've completely beaten the horse to death with the subject, I'm just gotta let it go until I know what's going on for sure. We could have thousands of possibilities and it would go on 4-ever and 4-ever. Just gonna take it day by day and see how I feel.

OMG....Greene is coming home tomorrow.....:eek: I'm so screwed!! I had my cleaning schedule all planned out, but now.....:eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: Looks like I'll be up tonight starting....:eek: :eek: :eek:
 
Meal 1 - cereal, coffee, dry cereal
Meal 2 - Lean Cuisine Pecan Chicken, bread
Meal 3 - boiled egg, cottage cheese mixed w/pineapple
Meal 4 - dirty rice w/turkey smoked sausage, corn
Meal 5 - pb, cracker, bread

Carbs are high again. I really need to work on that, but can't figure out what I'm doing wrong..:(

I swept, mopped and swept the bathroom and laundry room, put away some laundry, and put a load of laundry in the washer. It's a start but have more to do tomorrow. Got the biggest chunk out of the way tonight.
 
Today I tried 2 reps each on the weights doing each set 12 times. I can really feel it in my arms. Talk about not using those muscles for a long time...:D Now assuming the weight was right (will talk to Greene when he gets back), this is what I did:

Finally got my carbs under 50% today!! Need to re-work some of my food at my meals, but I think I'm getting the hang of it.

Meal 1 - oatmeal, milk, coffee
Meal 2 - apple, cottage cheese, boiled egg
Meal 3 - Smart Ones Chicken Rigatoni, bread
Meal 4 - cottage cheese w/fruit, pecans
Meal 5 - porkchop, hominy, baked potato (no butter)
Meal 6 - pb, bread

Can't find my ddr disk, so gonna have to buy another one...:( :mad: Doubt Greene will know where it is...grrr
 
Today was my day to work at the school, so was little late eating Meal 4, but that's ok. Tonight is hamburger helper, but I'm not going to have any. I never thought I would see the day that I turn down hh...:eek: I'm waiting for a good meal that I can cheat with. HH isn't worth it.

I bought some turkey and ham slices, but they're not the kind that Wendy wanted me to buy. I went to the "poor people store" for a few things, but it's all good. I wanted to buy some yogurt for my smoothie, but they were out, so it'll have to wait until next time.

*Edit - No offense to the poor people store comment.*
 
True, I will do that. Love planning cheat meals (some old habits are hard to break..:D ), but they can be broken, just look at the hamburger helper!!

I ended up buying two things of turkey instead of 1 ham and 1 turkey, but all is good. I like turkey, but not as well as ham, but will learn to adjust!!
 
I think today was better with the few changes, but still learning...:D Too much mayo on the sandwich..need to cut it down by half next time along with the peanut butter.

Meal 3 - smart ones fiesta chicken, bread, milk
Meal 4 - banana, cottage cheese, boiled egg
Meal 5 - turkey sandwich w/mayo on tortillia, apple, string cheese
Meal 6 - pb, pecans

I got more suggestions tonight, so I'll try to implement them tomorrow, but will have to eat up what i have until i can go to the store again. Defintely have a list of what would be better.

On the upside, we found the ddr disk....:D :D :D Cardio here I come!!
 
Yes it is, but it's gets easier too. Just today I turned down a piece of cake. I never do that. Either I'm getting into this more and more or I'm sick and don't realize it...:D
 
Sounds like you are getting on track! GOOD JOB!!! I passed on a lot of things today at the store, so I was pretty proud of myself. NO OATMEAL CREAM PIES here! No bacon bits, nothing. Dan helped me prepare a menu for the week, so I only got the things I absolutely needed for that and lots of fruits and veggies.
 
I need more fruits and veggies too. I'm running out of bananas and apples. Need more than that.
