The Tattooed Lady

IMO, yes we can still have the salads from the restuarants, but I think Stingo is talking about more of the hamburger, fries, etc... You know things cooked in the grease.

Well the salads too if you use a ton of dressing or have a lot of croutons, bacon bits etc with it.

But I don't! I use the serving suggestion for dressing (HONEST!) and don't use croutons. Bacon bits....not so much. I use them more on turkey wraps.

Whenever I eat a salad, yes I will admit, I use the croutons and salad dressing, but never any extra. The salad dressing is usually 140 calories or so and the croutons in about 30-60 calories. To make the salad better, just skip the croutons and only 1/2 of the dressing or ask for a dressing lower in calories. The good thing about major fastfood restaurants is that they have a website so you can plan out your meal ahead of time. That's what I do at times.

Food wise today wasn't the greatest, in fact it sucked rotten eggs, but supper is meatloaf (lb hamburger, lb turkey), mac and cheese and rice. I know two starches at a meal is bad, but I'll see what I can come up with. The only vegetables we have left are the ones I don't care for and I can't find any bags of frozen vegetables..:( I could make a bag of stir-fry vegetables for me. They're vegetables but not the broccoli, califlour, carrots mixture.

*Edit - I found the frozen vegetables...broccoli, califlour, carrots.*

Good ending to a bad day again. 1 slice of meatloaf, .5 cup of rice, 3/4 cup of vegetables and I'm full. Not stuffed, but full.

She's good and she was happy to be back in school after Christmas break. She went to a b-day party yesterday afternoon. I didn't stay. I had some running to do, plus I skipped the cake and ice cream.

I'm waiting for the dr to call me back about my headaches. I was good Friday but woke up with one Saturday morning. Sunday I didn't have one. This morning was good until about 11a or so, but I stuck it out and took her to school and went grocery shopping. I came home and took some ibuprofen and excedrin and went to the dr office. So now I'm sitting here waiting for them to call be back and wanting a dark corner. I don't have any money until Thursday so gonna wait until what they say before I make an appt.

Greene left for Indy today for a week of training. He'll be home Friday night. I'll miss him dearly, but I'll talk to him when he gets out of class.

The dr finally called and she said she can/can't say if the are from the birth control. I can get an appt and change the birth control if that's what I want to do, but I don't know if that will help the situation. I looked on the internet for any information I could find on them (great another self-diagnosis person you're saying to yourself) and it says change in food is one possibility and weather change is another. Now I have the information, just what I want to do with it. I'll talk to Greene tonight and see what he says.

The danger with self-diagnosis is that anything you read on the internet you think you have... (Have seen a case of that here). Has any discussion about testing taken place?

Testing about what? I'm not self-diagnosing myself to see if I have them or not. Believe me you'd know if you had them. It's not a typical headache. I was just wondering what could be causing them if it wasn't the birth control. When I went to the dr in Ft. Wayne, I told them all the symptoms I had (nausea, sensitive to light, sensitive to sound) and the dr said I have them.

Oh so you mean that you have all the symptoms of a migraine induced from birth control meds, but your doctor can't say definitively that that's what it is?

I don't know if the birth control caused the migranes when I was on it the first time, but I also don't remember if I was on the birth control when they started, but my guess is yes since I started the birth control a month after she was born. All I know is I've had these headaches since Ash was born. I would only get them once in a blue moon, but since I've started back on it again they have been getting worse.

You have to remember that I was on the birth control the first time for 4 years. I was off of it for 1 to 1 1/2 years then went back on it again in November. I've only been on it for 2 months or so, so the dr can't say for sure if the birth control is causing them to get worse.

Sounds like it may indeed be your pills. Several studies have indicated this connection. Switching to lower estrogen helps sometimes, but I am betting you are already on a low dose.

No, never had an MRI, but Greene thinks I should try two sudafed and see if it helps. If it does go away, then we know it's sinuses. If not, well we ruled that out. I'll get some sudafed tomorrow.

Back on track with workouts. I can feel it in my arms, which is my weakest part. Will up the weight Wednesday.

Arm Press - 20x10
Butterfly Arm - 16x10
Ab Pulley - 27x10
High Pulley - 13x10

Ab and High Pulley is way too light but the Arm Press and Butterfly Arm is where I need the most work. Even at that light weight I can feel it.

Did alot better, so let's hope the rest of the week goes this good.
