Ok, so I just got back from Curves and before leaving the building, guess what I did? I weighed myself! AHHH!! lol. Got myself discouraged again cuz I'm still at 289. This is so stupid of me, what do I expect, to see a 10lb weight loss in a day or something??
I'm trying to think back to when I was on Jenny Craig (I lost 65lbs when I was on it years ago). I remember my mentality then, I was really excited about weight loss, I ate well, and I exercised. I remember running up and down our stairs several times a day.
The thing was though, the really ODD thing was was that I was on a 1200 calorie diet at the weight of 245lbs. Did they put me on the wrong calorie range??? Should I be on that now???
My friend has lost 70lbs by not even counting her calories. Should I just leave counting calories alone??
The logical answer is to do what's best for me, but I feel like I don't even know what that is. I guess I should just try SparkPeople first for a week or two, and if I still don't see any results, then try something else. I'm not looking to see lots of weight loss, I'll I'm asking for is a 1 or 2 lbs a week, but I haven't been given that.
Part of myself is saying just go give up, but a stronger part of myself is saying not to give up, and I won't. I know this is a learning process, a growth process, as well as a weight loss thing.
