Alright, I need to get Star Trek on my tv quick!
Weekend recap:
Friday I ate one too many desserts. Catered lunch included King Cake, which I've never had before so I succumbed to a second one for my mid afternoon snack. One drink at home.
Saturday I had nine miles on the schedule, and the forecast was set to be sunny and mid 50s, which is a forty degree change from my last outdoor run. Something didn't sit right with my stomach and I had to stop half way through. Tried to pick it back up but only managed to get through 6.5 miles before I headed home and freaked out about how much I don't want to be training for a marathon. PMS is a mean thing, I also freaked out four weeks ago. At least I know what to expect next month.
Saturday night was a friend's birthday dinner at a Mexican restaurant. Two drinks, and the typical food (chips and guac, tacos, rice and beans).
Sunday was errands, including my first trip to an Asian market. G loves Asian cooking. I love lychees and shrimp chips. New products I picked up were dried squid and tapioca pearls. Dinner was steak, asparagus and a potato. Treats were a homemade brownie plus half a bottle of wine.
And now it's Monday! I've got last night's leftovers for lunch, plus a selection of snacks to choose from for the next couple of days. Homemade Lara bars (made of dates, coconut, cocoa, almonds, walnuts), homemade morning glory muffin, overnight oats made right in an almost empty peanut butter jar, and an orange. Oh, and I did a 3 mile run this morning!
