Glad you made it here and started a journal and btw I love your screen name. When you first start a diet like this you see results the astound you at first! And even better if you add regular excersize to your routine. A good walk is all you need to start. watching the weight drop away is motivation in itself. Again, glad your here and keep up the good work and positive attitude.
 
breakfast - 2 shredded wheat/milk = 217 cal

dinner - ham salad and a little light mayo sandwitch / bag of crisps / apple = 483 cal

tea - home made spaghetti bolognese,
lean mince = 332 cal
tom puree = 70 cal
toms = 68 cal
cilli sause = 50 cal
mushrooms = 20 cal
spaghetti = 350 cal
=890

TOTAL = 1590


water - 5 pints so far probaly have another 1 or 2

excercise - 18.20 mins / 7 km / level 4, on exercise bike
 
Good job today, grim, keep it up and the pounds will fall right off!

It's great that you're starting to get some exercise, too, that really helps ^_^ You'll be addicted to it soon enough, lol.

and not seen a mate in a fair few months and hes coming up in a hour or so and we usually have a drink but i only started my diet about a week and half ago dont know what to do

Oh by the way, I have always wanted to go to England. Have you ever toured any of the old castles? T hat is my dream one day!!:D
 
Just checking in to see how your doing. A diet doens't mean you have to give up beer altogether, its about making smart decisions and using moderation. You can account for the brews in your daily calorie intake, although your going to feel very hungry ;) Have a good day James!
 
cheers be gone soon , not been to none of the castles since i was a kid , even tho theres a castle in the village i live albeit a small one :D i want to get up to scotland soon to go to edinburgh castle :)


and on the beer front im pleased i only had 4 cans of stella not the usual 15+ i would of drank before i also had 2 more pints of water and i do feel hungry now iwan, but it is 3.40 am here so im of to bed now :)

OOOOOOOHH Scottland! That's top on my list too!! you definetly should go tour a castle, think of the exercise you would put in!! That's motivation there!! Hope you have an awesome day!!:)
