Dude, that's awesome 20lbs is a great start.

I hear ya about cheat days, I like to reward myself for doing well and I enjoy fast food so I figure it's fine in moderation. Gotta keep livin' and enjoy life otherwise what ya here for, that's my motto :)
 
ok so its been a few days since I updated. Why? Well I have just started re-watching the series "Chuck" :) It truly is my favorite TV show of all time....OF ALL TIME. Of course I am kind of a nerd at heart haha. I just got done with the second season and start the third tomorrow! "I know King-fu" lol had too.

Anyways, update...things are well. I got some 3x shirts that are starting to sit better, not quite there but I still remind myself this is a marathon and not a sprint. I did 5 days of walking/jogging this week!! In a row even haha. I can already tell a difference in the shape of my body is just 1 week. Took a day off to help my legs recover and did a little boxing tonight. Looks like running is becoming something I WANT to do now. Granted I still "look" fat haha, I think people would be surprised I weigh as much as I do (361).

In any event, running is fun, I am sticking to my diet like a pro, lean meats, whole grains, fruit, etc. and it's just rolling along like clockwork. 60 pounds by December 31st.? I think so :)

Also, thinking about getting a juicer for breakfast, apples, grapes, strawberries, spinach.
I want to lose weight BUT I want to be healthy...if I know I won't EAT veggies, perhaps I can mix them in with fruit and DRINK them, I've read that's just as good as far as getting the nutrients anyways....what do yall think?

Jebus...long post tonight
 
mmmm a juicerrrrr......... add some ice in the summer and makes u a nice drink

dont know bout the spinack in there... i know carrots is good . lol

Thanks for stopping by again sempre. Yes I got a juicer hehe :p I just drank my first drink tonight for dinner. Apples, Grapes, strawberries, spinach and carrots. It was a greenish color and tasted nice and sweet. It was pretty damn good....not GREAT but good. I drank it all in about 5 mins. First time I have had veggies in over 10 years...other than potatoes. Makes me very happy

And as far as running goes, I will be sure to watch my knees. So far so good, took the weekend off from running and did boxing.
 
No veggies in 10 years? wow!

I did something similar, ever since I've lived alone I've never really had veg, plenty of fruit. I didn't realise just how bad it was for me, i thought I'd never see any real difference but one thing I've found since I started eating veg in my diet is I sleep a LOT better, odd but true.

Ya haha, it's funny you should mention sleeping better because I felt great waking up this morning after having had the fruit spinach carrot drink last night.
 
Yeah it's odd, i've always struggled with my sleep, always wake up tired, got sleep apnoea which doesn't help, now when I eat veg for a few days in a row my sleep improves a lot.
 
Man I felt great today...lots of energy, a little bored from starting at a computer screen at work for 8 hours but man I feel good. Had tons of energy through my work out. Upper body / core / jogged a mile. Came home drank some whey and a apple, strawberries and spinach juice, feelin pretty alright.

All I need to do now is tell myself to go to bed early! I am hooked re-watching chuck from season 1 again and I am just staying up to late haha.
 
Well it looks like I might have to stop jogging...walking I can probably do but not jogging for a while I don't think. Haven't decided just yet. My left knee has a extremly sharp pain in it while I walk. Perhaps it needs to be walked out a little or maybe it's because I am 360 pounds and my knee is pissed at me jogging with that much weight haha.

New juice tonight...Apple, Cucumber, Spinach.
 
Picked up some local produce tongiht. Nice organic stuff! Spinach, Lettuce, Apples, Strawberries, broccoli. I must say....this organic spinach is MUCH more potent than the bagged baby spanich I got from the store haha, but still not to bad at all.

Nothing much else to report. My size 48 pants are getting pretty loose. That's a good sign. My body itself doesn't "look" like it's changed much but at this weight... everything will sag b/c of loose skin. Hopefully the scale will be generous in 23 days as it was last week. 20 pounds for a second month? Cross your fingers!

You could possibly lose another 20lbs this month or even more if you work hard!!:):)
 
I just joined today and this was the first diary I read! (mainly because it said gamer. XD )

I definitely know how easy it is to gain weight because of sitting and gaming. But you're very inspiring! Keep up the great work. Rooting for you!
 
Thanks for the support guys, unfortunaly I will have to stop jogging for the time being. I really ticks me off big time but my left knee is in so much pain. 8 pain pills later and it still hurts like hell when I walk, very sharp stinging pain.

So, back to boxing and what not. I tend to go full speed ahead with stuff and I didn't realize that my knee would hurt this bad. I guess jogging with 360 pounds is a little harder than I thought lol.

In any event, thing are alright. Just pluggin away. I'll update this weelend, week 6 pics sunday.
 
48's are loose now and I put on my size 50 and they went completely over my stomach and by stomach I mean my hanging gut haha. Needless to say I was very happy :p Just 6 weeks ago I those jeans were SO tight out of the dryer and now I can put the wasit line over my stomach. Weight loss is fun
 
Just a small update before I hit the sack. Still plugging away, sunday was 6 weeks strong and I also took my 6 week pictures. Since I am taking weekly pics and what not I don't see much of a change so I just upload them put them into a folder and I will check them in a few months. I don't want to get paranoid about not making progress. Still doing fine on the diet...cvould do less baked chips but I love them haha. Still no cokes and I treated myself to 12 chickfila nuggets on sat, no candies...all in all I have been doing really well.

As far a working out goes, I am back to boxing as it is more forgiving on my knee. It still hurts like a S.O.B. just sitting here but I feel like I needed to workout so I just worked through the pain, still isnt as bad as it is when I run so. I think I might have pulled a ligament or a muscle, its extremely painful at times and while my leg is in certain positions. Also on top of my knee, my mood has been all over the damn place. I feel proud and happy for changing my life but for some reason I get paranoid about not making progress and I get angry and depressed and I dwell on it and another minute I am happy and life is perfect. You would think I'd be 100% happy but I have had problems with anxiety in the past and am going to get back on my meds to try and counteract the mood swings....cross fingers the pills don't effect my weight loss any. And the knee...I will be getting that check as well.

I also don't want to be weighed in till the 26 and if I go see the doctor and I'll have to be. I am curious how much progress I have made in two weeks....I dunno, i might have them hide it from me haha. Anyways...I have divulged enough personal problems on here for one night haha.
