hehe that is a likle wierd lol! :smilielol5: but if it works for you it works for you!!!

LOL! I've only done it a few times while I was out walking and felt like I needed a kick in the arse. :D

yep very near Birmingham...about an hour nd half away. how do you now Brum??

Well, I've spent about 9 months all total in England. 3 months in the London area and 6 in Grantham, Lincolnshire. I've also traveled around the country a bit. I love England--I'd live there if I could. I wish I'd married a Brit, but ended up with an Aussie instead...lol.

I hope the scale cooperates with you for the weigh in!!

I'm sure you'll make your goal tomorrow. Isn't it strange and frustrating how you can never tell how much you will lose? Some weeks you think you did great but don't lose an ounce, other times you think you did only so so but lose a bunch!

Well, good luck!

i hope so...i'm down to 159.5. as long as i get 160ish i'm happy. 1lb a week...that's what i'm looking for! its nearly 6 weeks since i started and i've only lost about 4 lbs but i am taking measurements and i've lost over 2inches of my waist...not as much on other parts of the body but i'm looking for a flat stomache by the end of this year so i'm pretty much on my way.

thanx for visiting. have a good day.

i have just been a round my kitchen and i am struggling to get the fibre above 15g...will have to go shopping. i didn't realise how little fibre i am getting right now... good luck everyone!!!

Baked beans are brilliant for fibre and protein. They are like a cholesterol miracle food. We try and have 3 tins of baked beans each a week because they are so good for you. We havent done so the last couple of weeks though because you have lots of roast meat around Christmas. Anyway a tin of baked beans has about 18g fibre in it. Meals we sometimes have:
pork loin steak or chop & baked beans
smoked cod & baked beans
baked beans on toast (wholemeal bread adds more fibre)

Baked beans are also really cheap - I pay 20p for a tin of Tescos own make and it has 18.4g fibre.

Also pears 5g fibre
also there is plenty in
weetabix
grapes
shreddies
raisins
plus heaps of fruit and veg

i bet australia is great. they have addictive soaps man! and its always so sunny and bright(in the soaps anyway).

So which soaps do you like? I like neighbours and home and away.

I also used to love sons and daughters.

Morning Sweet pea!! Hope your doing well today!!! Omega mentioned beans, I love beans! I eat them regularly as Black Beans our my favorite! I put them in tortillas with cheese and salsa, very, very good and great source of protein.

I think a pound of week is a GREAT accomplishment!! Taking it slowly is how people keep it off for good, so I think you are definitely on the right track. Keep up the great work, as I'll certainly be by to check on ya!!
HUGS!
Kim

Hey Angel doll, you seem to be doing really well. 1lb a week is great and very healthy. Dropping too much at once makes it easier to gain it back.

Good luck with the weigh in tomorrow!!

Go Black Team!!

Just start chanting this throughout the week:

Beans, beans nature's fruit, the more you eat, the more you toot!
The more you toot, the better you feel.
So why not eat beans for every meal!

LOL. I don't know if this is an American ditty or not...:D Have you heard it before?

Congrats on being down a lb! :hurray::hurray:

I never got into the Aussie soaps much. But I'm not much of a soap opera person. We lived in Melbourne (hubby's hometown) for a year, and it was VERY hot some days in the summer--40+C. Winters are mild--no snow. The Aussies think it's cold if it gets below 5-10C, but that's very warm for a winter to me, coming from Michigan. I think it's sunnier in Western and Norhtern Austalia, but Victoria certainly has its share of cloudy days. :)

I kinda like British weather, call me crazy. I like the mildness of it--usually not too hot or cold. I love 10-22C weather.
