The Diary ;-)

Ahem...no comment on the weather. Although it changes here, too, we basically have a rainy season and a dry season, not the huge temp changes you guys are talking about. I'm thinking aboutu moving to Wisconsin, though, so that'll likely change...

i wish the weather would stay stable here as well! sounds great just having two seasons rather than 10 a day!!

Good job on losing inches! It most likely means you're gaining muscle (which of course weighs more than fat so the scale lies to you) and since you constantly work out I could believe that!

thanx i don't work out constantly lol. i have my days. i needto be more consistent though. i'm not too sure about gaining muscle. i read somewhere you can't gain muscle while in a calorie deficit but i'm sure i'm losing a lot of water and getting a better posture. that might be it.

Good luck on those plans! I remember the days....the South may have a bad reputation when it comes to education but that doesn't mean we work any less than other people. :D

haha i'm sure you don't. it takes me a whole day just to do the plans for the week. i have to do daily plans for every subject and all the other uni work on top. its crazy but only for the next 5/6 months.

Oh, and I have a chart on the back of my bathroom door to remind me of my measurements and weight. It's inspiring and since I'm guzzling the water, too, I'm seeing it all the time.

that is a good idea. i just have one in my room. only see it once or twice a day but it does help. keep up the guzzling!!

have a good fibre eating week!

;-)

Don't worry about visiting diary's getting that exercise in for the day is much, much more important and we all understand that!! I know sometimes our schedules make it impossible to exercise each day, but if only 15 minutes a night is good, I've read about that. So I'm sure you can squeeze at least that much time in during the week right?? Maybe do sit ups, or squats for 15 minutes, anything is ALWAYS better than nothing. Keep it going, your doing fine!!!
Hugs to you
Kim

keep up the good work! As Kim mentioned if you cant get in a true workout just squeeze in extra activity, I now park as far away as possible, only take stairs, when I get bored or tense at work I take a loop around our building hallways, I refill my water bottle from the cooler down the hall instead of one in our office for a bit more movement, you can find lots of inventive ways!

Keep it up girl! Sometimes you just have to make time for yourself. But taking the stairs and parking farther away are great ideas to at least add a little more activity to your day. I also have to spend a lot of time at the computer so I use rubber bands to work my legs, or when I'm driving I will squeeze my muscles...the way I see it any little bit helps!

And here I thought your absence from my diary was due to the fact that you were stuck in the loo. I was gonna suggest getting a laptop with wireless capabilities so you can take it in with you. :smilielol5::smilielol5:

I'm sorry that you're so busy during the week these days. Kim had a great suggestion about trying to fit in a few minutes here and there. If you have a treadmill or exercise bike at home, that can be done while reading--maybe. So you could kill two birds with one stone. Either way, just do the best you can. Also, a quick 15-min workout will help relieve stress--and I'm sure you have lots of that atm. :)

How is your mom doing?

hey angel, i just wanted to stop by to see how your week is going! Hope u had a good one! I know what you mean about being busy!! take care:waving:

hey thanx Kim. i did about 10-15mins a day after i read this! made up about 150 mins for the week not bad but not good considering this weeks bonus is excercise and i won't be able to get that much in. lol. i will keep going with my 10-15 mins here and there.

have a good weekend

thanx i have been trying to do extra bits. i have started to walk around the long way around the building after i read this. shame can't count the minutes for the challenge though but as long as i'm losing all is good i suppose hehe! hope you are going good as well!

have a good weekend

hey the rubber bands sound good. i'm actually always standing or walking around (teaching) so i get a lot of activity in and i am also walking around a bit more than i need to so i do get a bit in...just can't count the minutes :-(. you are right...every little bit does help and as long as i'm doing that all is fine.hehhe

hope you have a good weekend!

haha well to be fair to you...if i'm not teaching i am in the loo so maybe i do need to consider having socket in the loo so i can take my laptop in! :p

yeh same here....this challenge is at the wrong time but i shall do better in the next one! i am trying to get 10 to 15 mins a day at home...its just that i get a lot of activity in during the day and by the time i get hme and get myself sorted i'm shattered. shame i can't count the minutes at school. at times i haven't sat down for about 3 hours!

Also, a quick 15-min workout will help relieve stress--and I'm sure you have lots of that atm. :)

DO NOT TALK TO ME ABOUT STRESS!!!

How is your mom doing?

shes much better today thanx...she even went back to work.

hope you are doing fine...i will get around to visiting...once i finish in the loo.

have a good weekend!
