Rusks?

Hi Readyfor18 :) good luck on ur weight loss...and happy 18th birthday for im guessing the 11th?...i was just wondering..wat are rusks?:confused:
 
Hey, thanks, no my 18th is on the 29th of June... the 11th is just a projected date...

Rusks are like biscuits, except they're not... They are harder and less fatening I guess, and you get a wide variety. You have it with your coffee, its just somthing to give me energy.
 
Oh ok cool, id heard the name mentioned a few times in the forum and i was completely clueless lol...happy birthday for the 29th then! :p and instead good luck with the 11th April :p

Only 0,4kgs lost this week, mainly because of bad eating and only 4 days of exersize! Time to pick it up again this week!

Im weighing in at 85,3kgs ---> Just over halfway it seems!

Had a bit of a relapse yesterday, but so far I've lost 9.6kg's and I have 2 weeks to go till my operation.

My long term goal will be to lose 5kg off' the 2,7 I still have to lose.

Hope to hear from some of you! I'm in the middle of exams, so so busy! Sorry for not being active!

Hi Guys!
Well just wanted to let you know that my total weight loss is now 10,5kgs (23,1lbs) and I feel great to have come so far.

This is just a short term goal of mine (to reach 80kg's, I'm on 81,8kg now) and I still want to lose 5 kg's after that and start on toning my upper body etc.

I will have to put my fitness on hold for 6 Weeks because I go for cardiological surgery (not my heart, but upper body [sternum]) next week Tuesday, on the 11th, so I will have to eat really well to maintain my weight. But apparently I can re-start my training at the end of May, so then I'll have time to lose the last weight.

Thanks for the support throughout my journey!

Hey Everyone!

Well I've Turned 18 and I am through the Operation.......Safe and Sound!

Only problem is I've picked up some weight in the recovery process! 2.6kgs to be exact!

My New Goal is to Reach 75kg's before December..... If I exersize like I did I'll be able to do so, but I'm going on a Month Long Vacation in August to Europe so I'm scared I'll be demotivated!

PS - Had a great 18th Birthday and Got a Car! Love it!
 
Hi again everyone!

I'm back from my vacation in Europe and yes, I put on a few kg's again :(

But oh well, I have 13 weeks in which I am going to be working hard to reach my goal I set at the beginning of the year.

At the moment I weigh 86.1kgs and I want to weigh 75kgs. As you may remember I was at 81,9kgs once, so I can do so if I put my mind to it!

This time I am working on a points system with regards to exersize.
aka.
5 Points per KM I jog
10 Points for 500 skips
2 Points for every 25 Situps
etc.

Today I officially started and just did 38 points, along with weights, which do not count on the points system I made up.

I am aiming for 38 every day, i.e 266 Points a week. To lead to a total of 3458 points in the whole diet. I just want to make sure I do AT LEAST 250 points a week, but that is only if I have been very lazy. 266 a week is my goal.

Anyway, good to be back! Thanks for the support earlier in the year!
 
Wow, you sound so motivated! I'm glad your operation went well! Sorry about the weight gain, but I'm sure you can get it off in no time!:)
 
hi - just read your diary for the first time. dari's right - you are so motivated! glad you got through your surgery, that wasn't a big gain considering what you went through. you are going to be very slim at 75kgs and over 6 foot tall!

congratulations on all your hard work :)
 
Thanks so much for the nice messages.
Today I played an hour of tennis and then went to gym but suddenly had a complete loss of energy. Did 20 sit-ups or so but rather listened to my body and thought it would be best to work hard again tomorrow. I ate well today, stuck to meals etc. so its all good.
