Well, it's a little bit of a miracle, after the horrendously bad week i've had, where i've just eaten junk food to mask my depression, i've managed to lose a pound since last week.

I'm astonished.
 
So.. I had a huge confidence boost yesterday and then a huge letdown and bought back down to earth today.

As many people who read this journal have come to know, I don't like my body at all. In fact, I don't think anybody could. So imagine my surprise when a young lady came into work yesterday to be a volunteer and spent a few hours talking to me, and gave me her phone number. We text each other and agreed to go out today. I was so damn happy about things. It felt like losing weight had actually meant a very, very attractive intelligent girl noticed me. My self-image shot up by like 100 points.

Then today, we spent an hour or so together and all of a sudden her phone rang and she *had* to go. So I text her later in the day and she just hasn't replied. It's now dawned on me that all the work i've done so far, all the way i've been feeling the last 24 hours, is actually for nothing.

I'm still a long damn way off looking good.

I feel crushed right now.

Too late, I just ate like 750 calories of crisps. At least they're not here any more, I can resist foods very very easily if they're not around to tempt me. But when I bring multi-packs into my room and leave them there, i'll eat them with boredom.

So now they're gone, I won't be buying any more. Not an excuse of course, but a silver lining.
 
Put on another two pounds since yesterday, which I have no doubt had to do with all of the crisps I had before I went to bed last night. Dammit.
 
Try not to weigh yourself every day, your weight naturually fluctuates from day to day for a number of reasons including retaining fluid. try cutting back to weighing yourself once a week.
 
I couldn't do that. It would drive me crazy! Half way through the week i'd be so paranoid that i've put weight on. And then if I did weigh myself once a week and I actually put weight ON, then i'd REALLY be paranoid about what I eat.

Weights are confusing me now though. I weighed myself this morning and then I ate 200 calories exactly, and I put on 1.2lbs.

It's fun!

As long as I lose weight week to week, I don't mind so much. I keep a record in my little black book every day, so when I do put weight on I can simply look back seven days and see that I weighed more then.

Although I do now weigh 3lbs more than I did one week ago. Which doesn't help.
 
I've got a taste for crisps at the moment, I can't stop eating them :(

Two pounds down from yesterday to a weight I think is an accurate one.

17 stone and 11lbs. Happy with that number.

Hello Adam, How are you doing?

I ate all the bad stuff pretty much all last week, and now am back to 136lbs lol, ho hum, I've also been slacking on the running. Since I know I've been at 133, I know now I CAN do it again. *Just remember that*

Your boating trip looked pretty relaxed. I would say I can see the extra weight melting away too. Every lil bit helps, keep goin strong. :)
 
I wish I could have genuine photos of my body up, but I really couldn't do it. I can't look at myself long enough in the mirror, so there's no chance i'd actually be able to take a photo and look at it. Which is a shame as i'd like to see if there were any changes.

I just wish I could find a job soon, it would really help with my diet if I had a routine every day where I was always active. Bad times here.
 
So today marks the official moment where i've lost exactly 2 stone! Started at 19.84 stone on May 1st and today I'm down to 17.84 stone!

Ooh, i've got a mighty TWO rep power on here now. This is awesome.

Two stone down.. Stone number 3 is gonna take AGES, I just know it.
