The diary of a Franchise Player.

I'm leaving any exercise period until Monday evening. I'm going to aerobics with my sister, so I'm trying to let my body heal up as much as possible until then. I can't weigh myself anyway as my kid sister and her louder friend are sleeping downstairs. I have a sneaking suspicion that i've put every single one of those 16lbs back on from last month.

Try not too be so down on yourself...hey maybe I should take some of my own advice...WoW :leaving:

Weighing didn't go so bad. I appear worse than before but apparently i've dropped 3lbs or so in the last 9 days of being ill. 19lbs in total since the start now.

I'm weighing in today at 18.18 stone exactly. Of course, the lowest figure I can remember being in many years. I still don't have energy about me, I was (obviously) wrong above about putting weight on while being ill. But it did damn well feel like it.

Hilariously, I've gotten as far as 9 press-ups. I've been doing one more with every passing night. So tomorrow I'll do 10, etc.

It's getting tough.. I'm really not in shape.

Note: I've passed the 20lbs weight loss mark.

One of the reasons I wanted to lose weight properly a few months ago was because my sisters baby was born and I was going to be his godfather, and I wanted to look respectable for him in his Christening photos, I'd like to think I did look okay. The 20lbs i've dropped has come off my face a little bit and my body doesn't look too big, this is one of the photos:

I am, of course, the one holding him.

Week to week i'm not doing too bad. I weigh myself every Monday as part of another website, and i've lost 1.1lb in the last seven days. I suppose that's where I should be looking to be losing really.

you can do 1% which is about 2.5 lbs. that's what i aim for it it works out nice. and its healthy!

Yeah, i've lost another 1.4lbs this week so should possibly bump to 2lbs by next monday, so i'm moving slowly. I'm glad i've not put weight on this week, because of certain circumstances, i've had to have chips, beans and chicken nuggers (big, big plate) on thursday and three quarter pounder burgers today for dinner. I've been eating more than I should have this week but the exercise is possibly cancelling it out, so for a one off this week, i've been lucky and not been too affected.

You look very nice!! ;) You are doing very well! Keep Goin! Those press-up's, what are they?

I can do up to 12 alternating lunges, I know not much, and sometimes I can or will? Hmm  only do 4...such as last night, when I was ultimately pooped. :)

Press-ups are the same as push-ups (I think this is what you were asking) and I up them by one every single night, so tonight I'll be doing 15 along with 15 sit-ups too. I'm not sure what they're doing for me exactly, but I know I sweat loads when I do them, so that "should" be a good thing.

I'd feel a ton better if I could see some weight come off my tummy, but that's the one area that has not changed at all through all of this.. Ironically the one area that I wanted to lose weight from in the first place!

It's worth noting a personal milestone for me today. As you can see from my signature running dude, i've now passed the 250lb mark, a weight i've not been as low as since 2003.

Go me.

*mini party*.

Still slowly sliding down the weight numbers, but it's still not coming off my stomach. Not quite sure where it's going from, but 26lbs has disappeared from SOMEWHERE.

Hmm.

Weighing in today at 17 stone 10lbs exactly.

I'd say it's come off your face, like mine did, than it was upper arms (for me), back, calves, forearm's, ankle, wrist, head...go figure, shoulder's (what the hell?!, slowly but surely waist, tummy, hips, obliques, and than WHAM just like that I had an ass again. ;) Oh and many other places that I cannot remember off the top of my head. I too am in waiting for where the next amount of fat will melt away from. I have this feeling though that within my last 9 lbs it ain't gonna happen. Which I will than need weight & resistance training, to re-shape my body.

Do you take weekly measurements The Franchise? Such as
-Bicep
-Forearm
-Wrist
-Waist
-Tummy
-Hips or Butt
-Thigh
-Calf
-Ankle
:) Sometimes inches come off b4 the scale says otherwise, as I am sure you are well aware of by now. Or the other way around or both. :)

:hurray: on passing the 250lb mark!!!

btw, Thanks for the add!

Please, call me Adam, because that sentence looks so wrong!

I don't take any measurements at all.. I think i'd be too bothered. I wear XXL clothes & have done for a few years now, i'm hoping i'll make the chance to XL soon. Having a habit of not throwing ANYTHING away, in my loft i've got hundreds of bags of things i've collected over the years, including a few bags of clothes that don't fit any more, and there's a lot of XL t-shirts in there, that i'd love to 'grow into' as my weight loss continues.

& you look really awesome in your photos.. Good looking girl there.

LOL okay, Adam. :)

Well I am sure you will grow into them too! :D

Oh so you're a pack rat...like me? I am a nasty lil bugger of a pack rat...I have lot's of stuff too, that I need to give away, or throw away, because it sure is NOT worth it to sell. I will be doing so in the next two months, since I need to move.

Thanks for the compliment! :)

I work as a volunteer for a charity shop, you'd think it would be easy to give my old stuff away.

..No, apparently not. Been a pretty bad last few days, been pretty bummed with things that have been happening and its been causing me to eat quite badly.

I've always associated being sad with eating food, and I think I might have gone back over the 250lbs mark.

I guess i'll find out later tonight.

Hang in there Adam - you can do this, don't let a couple of bad days get on top of ya !

Thanks man (lady?) it's not too clever at the moment.. I'm in a 'What the hell is wrong with the people of today' mood.

And I've just weighed myself and i'm back up to 18 stone exactly.

Which is 252lbs.

God damn it.
