Boy can I tell I overdid the salt yesterday. Woke up this morning with insanely dry mouth, puffiness everywhere, and up 4 lbs from yesterday morning!

Can you say "WATER RETENTION"?
Today I'm making healthy food choices - complete turn around from yesterday.
Breakfast yesterday - Chocolate Clif Builder bar
Breakfast today - Total cereal with blueberries and skim milk
Morning snack yesterday - 4 pieces Hersey's Bliss dark chocolate
Morning snack today - 1 cup grapes
Lunch yesterday - 2 large slices of Pizza Hut Pizza - 1 was pepperoni, 1 supreme, and 1 can V8 juice (low sodium at least)
Lunch today (planned) - Tuna on whole wheat with pickles and light micacle whip, 1/2 cup carrots, 1 1/2 cups skim milk
Afternoon snack yesterday - bag of pretzels (MORE salt!)
Afternoon snack today (planned) - 1 apple
Supper yesterday - 2 McDonalds Pumkin Pies
Supper today (planned) - grilled chicken, brown rice, steamed veggies
Evening snack yesterday - 1 small glass of sangria, 2 BIG handfulls of corn puffs (still more salt!)
Evening snack today (planned) - none, ok maybe 1 small glass of wine - I LOVE my wine!
I need to drink TONS of water as well to flush out all that sodium.
I've been reading about how you should change your exercise routine to use different sets of muscles. I do that when I lift weights (probably because I get so bored with it and don't like it very much) but I run 3 days a week almost without fail lately. Monday is my slow day - 3 miles at a nice easy pace (usually cuz I'm still sore from Saturdays). Wednesday is my fast day - also 3 miles, but push it as hard as I can. Saturdays lately I've been going over 6 miles at a fairly easy pace, but I figure the longer distance will build endurance, right? Is that changing it enough or doesn't it matter if I'm always running? I've read that you should mix in eliptical training, aerobics, or other cardio. But I'm really enjoying the running and it's been easy for me to stick with it - so that's better than nothing, right? At least I'm getting some exercise I figure. I've also been hearing a lot lately about how running isn't the best exercise as you get older because it's harder on your body, especially your knees. Maybe I need to look around for a used eliptical trainer or something like that? My sister loves hers and says she'd rather do that because she says she "can't run". What ever that means.
I noticed something this morning as I was getting ready for work. My hair is finally starting to grow back!!!! YAY!!!! It's not quite an inch long and sticks straight up, giving me sort of a fuzzy bird look. I have to load up on hair care products to make them behave until they are long enough to lay in with the rest of my hair. It'll be years before my hair gets back to how it was before I lost weight. It was down to my waist until I cut it as a 'reward' for getting half way to my weight loss goal. Now it goes to the middle of my back - with the exception of my new fuzzy growth of course!
Well, enough rambling for today.....
