That last 20 pounds, here we go!

I've been absent for a little while...back from business trips and over the weekend...now, back to the business of getting off this weight!
Eating: ok, nothing too big, or small...just keep on taking it one day at a time! Ended up at 1645 calories today.
Motivation: ok, but after the first 7 pounds came off (back to where I had gotten to), I seem to have stalled out. I know it's a journey, not a race, just do t want to stall out!
Exercise: ok. Had to take a week off last week due to a hip injury. Now back at it, did 45 min on the elliptical today. Had a nice bike ride again over the weekend.
I have one more week, then I get a week vacation...we're going to Taiwan...if we don't get cancelled by the typhoons! My goal is to continue to maintain during my week away!
Good choices to all!

Hi Sarah, You have commitment & determination, so stalling is only that, not permanent. A week's vacation? Nice. You deserve it as you seem to have such a full-on job! We'll see those kgs melt off you, I'm sure. Slow & steady wins the race as we know, xoxo Cate

Thanks Nostalgic and Cate!
Today:
Eating: not too bad, but ended up at 1800 cal, about 150 mote than plan...did eat a can of tuna after 6.
Exercise: good, did 45 min on the elliptical
Motivation: good. Cool weather here, clothes from last fall are feeling and looking good ! I know it will eventually get the kg's off...it's got to...eventually!
I will be offline for awhile...a week of vacation starting Saturday! Looking forward to it!
Good choices to all!

Hey girls,
I thought I posted...but evidently it went into the big old hole of lost posts! Argh!!
I guess I didn't have that much to say anyway!

Eating: Back on my not eating after 6:00 and have come back down to 170.9 pounds from 173 after my little vacation! Finished today a little over 1460 cals, so OK with that
Motivation: Good...had my first 'off the shelf' skinny jeans bought here in China...and the actually feel good and I'm not self conscious about wearing them...that 's huge for me! My work health care plan at work is changing back in the US to provide financial incentives for healthy choices and actually doing a biometrics scorecard (triglicerides, HDL, LDL, Fasting Glucose, blood pressure and waist circumference) and based on these numbers (to be filled out by a Dr) it determines the amount of 'credit' you get in your account to use for healthcare choices. I have mixed feelings about this type of system...I know it's the right thing to do, but I don't like someone telling me I have to do it! The good news for me was that according to all of the biometrics, I would have qualified for 100% of the financial incentives (I don't fall under this system now since I'm expatriated and under a different healthcare system). That would not have been the case at all 2 years ago! Feeling good about that today!
Exercise: Still been hitting the elliptical and bicycle. I did only 35 min on the elliptical today (had to go to work early). My body continues to evolve...seem to be losing weight in my legs and off my back again...that stubburn belly just doesn't want to go away! I'll just keep at it...Im sure the more strength training I do the more muscle mass I'm retaining and fat is coming off..I can see my ribs in the front and back...not skin and bones by any stretch of the imagination...but good to see them!
Good choices to all!

Welcome back! It's good to hear from you again. :)

My stomach is my major issue too. My arms are definitely thinner and more toned (still fatty up top though). My legs are shaping up pretty well too. My gut on the other hand, just doesn't seem to want to shrink. I'm just now starting to see subtle changes there so hopefully that's a good sign. :)

Keep up the good work!
