That last 20 pounds, here we go!

*jumps up and down* yay, I'm glad you like tactio health. I am loving it.
The report is so detailed. The only downside is it doesn't remember numbers so I'm logging the daily numbers in my notes. The graphs are great but you can't see the number of your last weigh in or steps etc.
I use it daily. I love the reminders as well on the "my health" page.
It also has the calorie page to let you I ow how many you should be consuming.

Wow sounds like you are all motivating each other, that's great!
 
Thanks Nostalgic for giving me the recommendation for Tactio. I do like it, especially the my health page. I entered the blood work results and my glucose (all good!) I like the weight graph too...I havnt used the reminders, and I don't use their nutrition plan, and honestly I'm still discovering all the stuff. Now, one of my goals is to get all of the dots green on the home page...gotta get the waist and weight down to be "green".
Today
Eating: ended up at 1643, and I'm good with that!
Exercise: did 45 mino. The elliptical, then walked a lot (13000 steps) on the construction site.(got my feet elevated with ice as I type this!)
Motivation: feeling good...weather a little cooler here and the slacks are feeling looser! I'll weigh in this weekend. Hoping for some good news!

Today, started out in a daze...and it seemed to continue all day!
Exercise: 30 min recumbent bicycle and 15 min strength training..I just wasn't feeling it today!
Eating: ok, finished today just over 1600 Cal, but did eat a few walnuts, an apple and a clementine after 6:00 ( I left work at 7:45pm tonight...long day!)
Motivation: good, with the cooler weather, some of the suits I bought back in the spring are coming out..feeling slim in them! They are not loose...but they do fit well!
Tomorrow, or sunday i'll weigh in..it is that TOM so not sure what that will do...my body is at the point where i'm changing and it cant determine if i'm in or out of menopause...sucks!
I'm going to the park again to bike..still staying off my foot.

Hi Sarah, I avoided Menopause (not really) as I had a Hysterectomy at 42. It was such a relief to put all that behind me. Your day is so energetic, even when you're not feeling it. I so need to ramp my exercise up, but don't have much energy at all. Thanks for your support today in my diary. It's always welcome, xoxo Cate
 
Today, a nice weekend day!
Exercise: 42km bike ride, really driving it fast! Felt good!
Motivation: good! Weighed in today at 169.8...not a lot of loss, but I'll take it! Bought some new long sleeve colored cotton tops today. Still can't find pants that fit here, but I can easily find tips now!
Eating: not so good, ended up at 1910 calories. Nothing really bad, jit too much of it.

Today...started out good...kinds of went downhill afterwards!
Exercise:65 min elliptical and 10 min strength training...not too bad!
Motivation: good...put on a pair of slacks I bought in Paris back in April and they fit good then, they are a little loose in the butt now!
Eating: well...lets just say, I ate too much today. We had a lunch with our driver today, and of course nothing would do but they order tons of food, and I had to try all of it ! Ended up eating well over 2100 cal. For the day. (About a who.e meal more than my plan!).
Well, it will just mean I'll have to get back on it tomorrow!

Really? my mum had a hysterectomy and it made her go through menopause earlier. She still suffers hot and cold sweats etc.

Thanks for your encouragement Nostalgic! I love my Anne Fontaine slacks from Paris...they really are so comfortable! It was a special day when I was able to fit into and wear anything Anne Fontaine!

Today: exercise: good, started my day with 45 min elliptical and 10 min weights
Motivation: good, nothing special. Going to Shanghai tomorrow, and always good not to have to worry about how I'm going to fit into the airplane seat!
Eating: good. Finished today at 1250 Cals.ma little low, but after the extravaganza this weekend, I'm ok with it !

As I said earlier in the post, I'll be on a business trip for a couple of days, then some vip's visiting the construction site when I get back...not sure when I'll post next, but just know I'm thinking about all of you and wishing you good choices!

Back home now after 2days in Shanghai. Lets just say I probably ate too much...banquets, buffets etc...back late last night, glad to be back to my normal.
Exercise: schedule did not permit a fitness center in Shanghai, so 3 days straight without a workout...will have to get at it tomorrow!
Eating: like I said, I ate too much...got back on the program today

There last year, so this was the first time several people had seen me since I have lost weight...many people told me they would to have known me had I not spoke first, then smiled. The odd thing was I did t even think about this before-hand! I think that might mean that my self image brain has finally caught up with my body! That's such a good thing!

Back at it after the week in business trip and long days!
Eating: ate too much during my business trips and paid the price at the scale..not bad, but not good either! Will get bak into my routine on Monday!
Exercise: did 65 min on the elliptical and some sideways planks..and I am sure I pulled some sort of muscle..my hip muscles around my leg Joint is hurting rally bad today, so I didn't do any exercise at all. If it's not better, I won't be doing any tomorrow either. I am sure it was the sideways planks...it's the only thi g I did differently
Motivation: a little down after the weigh in, but committed toget back on it tomorrow and be extra good since I may be out of exercise commission for the week. I gained a 1/2 pound during the week..I low body weight can fluctuate during the day by that amount, soi'm not swearing to too much..but it just reinforces me to be very vigilant!.

Those business trips can be bad... I used to go to CZ once every few months and I just could not stay away from deep fried cheese and deep fried potato cakes :-/
I used to just tell my self.....a two day diet break is ok.
Plus it's so super cheap to eat and drink there.
N will be hard this year to stay away from my favorite treats... I'm there for 4 weeks.
Good to get re focuses now your back and I hope your hip feels better

I'm feeling OK, not 100% yet, but the hip is some better. I will not exercise again tomorrow to get it back on par!
Eating: got back on track today, ended up at 1550 cal's for today
Exercise: got 10700 steps and 17 floors today; no official work at fitness center
Motivation: good. I talked to my sister who had lost 120 pounds...she is back on a good regime. After losing the 120 she regained 60 pounds in the space of a year...depressing. She has now lost 15 pounds and hopefully changing her lifestyle and not just a 'diet'...we'll see. At Any rate, it is motivating me to not gain the weight back!

Glad your back on track with the eating and calories. Good idea about not working out tomorrow, you don't want to cause a worse injury.
You're doing great!

I like how you mention "not just a diet" think that's my biggest problem as I always refer to my weight loss journey as "my diet" where I should be using more positive words like "changing to a healthy lifestyle" or "eating better"

Most People eat well every day and never call it a diet, why can't I do the same lol :-/

So, back again.
Eating: today at just over 1550 cal's for today. Back on my routine...until next week when I have to back to Shanghai for another business trip. This one is only for 1 day of training, so shouldn't be too bad.
Exercise: still off exercise, I'll probably just stay off the rest of the week...still some pain in my hip..better, but not well yet. I would rather be safe than sorry...so I'll probably get back to a good workout on Saturday.
Motivation: today, I felt slim...had a pair of slacks from last Fall season (got out all my "winter clothes" recently, and even though I sorted through them in !ay when we moved to our new place, the slacks were loose...not baggy, but a comfortable loose. These are low riding slacks, so I had a new long sleeve cotton blouse (XL off the rack, bought in China) and it is it skin tight, not not baggy either...fits perfect, and I felt like I looked good. Hubby thought so too! So with that motivation, I continue on to finally get I. The 160's and stay there until I get to the 150's! I can feel it! It's within my reach!
Lets go and make great choices!!

Doing great.
I go back to work 14 October :( I will have a new system to learn which won't be fun,
I'm not looking forward to it. Most people changed when they did the redundancy plan a while back. The atmosphere is...... :( but I need to keep the job.
The whole redundancy plan made me feel like a 14 yr old girl back at school with people talking behind backs and sucking up to the bosses.
People I thought of friends don't even say hi anymore as they talked me down behind my back. I had more points for who would stay (been there 7 years, have a son) then the other managers so I'm assuming it was jealousy.
Not joining in, in the sucking up and kissing butt left me with a boring position now. I just don't kiss butt and talk about friends behind their backs and look where it got me :-/

Anyway...l sorry rant over :)
 
Thanks Nostalgic...work is called work for a reason I guess! I'm feeling much better today..got some rest, exercised and booklet of my Christmas home trip.

Motivation: good...still feeling slim. Havnt weighed in, but feeling slim, and that's a big part of the mental battle!
Eating: finished last night at ~1400..a little low, and I woke up in the night hungry..so had a big breakfast and normal lunch today. Going to a BBQ tonight, will try to hold it together and not over do it!
Hoping to get another bike ride in tomorrow!
