Hey guys sorry I haven't been around! I've been working out...racquetball and lifting weights as usual. I tried the stair step thing yesterday and it so kicked my butt. LOL! Don't think I'm quite ready for that machine yet. PHEW! Sorry I didn't see we were going to weigh in. I will weigh in tomorrow and let you know my results. :) Glad to see everyone else is kicking some major butt!!!
 
Lets get started

My goal for this week is a four pound weight loss also. My starting weight is 178. I'm with you on the butt kicking!!!:rolleyes:

Hey sorry, hope I'm not too late, weighing in at 301, so three pounds. could of done beter but was sick for most of it. My eating wasnt as scheduled as I would of liked. But its not over yet. Sounds like all you guys have gone really great. Well done on those big loses. very impressive.
 
Wow I'm so impressed and feeling a little down. Well I'm down a pound from my original weigh in. I'm really slacking on my food and water. Don't know what the deal is...UGH! Thank goodness I'm working out enough to balance it out at least. This week will be better, I don't want to let you guys and girls down.
 
Lookin' good everyone! Still haven't heard from Cheryl (I PMed her) but so far we lost a total of 20.6 pounds last week! Team RELENTLESS is kickin' some butt! Keep up the good work... let's really push this week and get a good weigh-in for Monday. :D
 
Where's Cherylhop?

Hey all, I PMed Cheryl and hopefully she'll post her weight later today. If not, do we want to remove her from the team so that we don't get a zero for her?
I'm really hoping she's still with us but if not, I need to know what ya'll want to do. Thanks.
 
paulab_5, I would vote to remove Cheryl if she wishes not to participate. This is something that is a choice.

Cheryl, Even if you gain weight it would be great to have you, if you are participating. All of us know how easy it is to ignore the truth about ourselves. I don't know how we won't face the truth, we just seem to say we will get started tomorrow, we all do it (I Think). Please join us.

Well had a couple of good days, have stayed within my calories the yesterday & today. I did not run yesterday since I ran so fast & far on Monday. Today I did my 4 miles in 49:02. I have a new goal of keeping my 4 miles under one hour. I think I'm up to the task. I always drink lots of water. I do so bad on my fruit.

I have a question. Let's say there's six people on a team. All together they lose 24 pounds. Do you get the average weight loss and the team's average would be 4 pounds. And then the team with the highest average "wins"? That's what it seems to be but I'm not sure. Thanks :D

I believe that's correct.
 
Hope all of my team members are doing good, & losing lots of weight.

On Feb. 13 I tried to run 2 miles in 20 Min's. I only made it 1/2 mile. I tried again today & I made it. 2 miles in :eek: 19 Min's. & 45 Secs.:cool:

Hey everyone, sorry I haven't been around. Had a 24 hr flu bug I guess. Anyway, things are going well here now. I finally get to work out again tomorrow...YAY! Final weigh in is on Monday, correct?

The way it has worked in the past, you subtract the groups combined final weight from the groups combined beginning weight. you then divide that number by the groups starting weight, that will give you the total percentage loss for that group. I hope I said that right? The group with the largest percentage wins.

Geez Chip. 2 miles in under 20 minutes? I'd pass out! :p I don't know if I've mentioned this on here before but my fastest mile (in the last 4 years) has been 11:27. Last Friday I managed to get 11:32 and that was awesome! We run the mile today, I hope I do well! My goal is under 11:27.
 
Hey all, looking good! Final weigh in is Monday! I think this team is going to kick some serious booty! ;)
So I say Cheryl is out. I believe the rules were that we had to hear from everyone at least every three days and we haven't heard from her since the first weigh in.
So I've been steadily losing 1/2 pound a day which should help us out come Monday!
Hope everyone is doing well! :)

EDIT: I just talked to Cheryl. She lost one pound and assures me that she'll weigh in on Monday. :)

:) Had a good day was within my calorie range. Ran my 4 miles. I'm now a runner, I no longer run/walk or walk/run I'm a runner. I ran my 4 miles today in 48:38. I'm most likely going to increase my mileage sometime this next week up to 4.5 miles or maybe 5 miles.

My mile went great! 10:45!! I beat my record by almost 45 seconds! Also, I weighed in today at 211. Oh yes folks, 211! With the weigh in being Monday I am so excited!
 
Ocire, Your time is awsome, to beat your old time by 45 seconds. WOW!!!! And your weight WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep it up.

Oh man oh man. When I wake up tomorrow I weigh in!!!!!!! This is so exciting. I don't know if I can sleep. I also just did about an hour work out tape and feel great. My arches are kind of sore though. Earlier I played racquetball for about an hour and 15 minutes. I skipped lunch which killed in the long run.

Because I skipped lunch I was very hungry even after dinner. I had a cup of hamburger helper, a celery stick, and a banana but come 9 o'clock I was still starving. I didn't know what to do. They say don't eat after 7:30 pm but I had to eat something. So I went with sliced peaches. I would've drank water but that doesn't go over well at night. :eek:

So my question is: Did I do the right thing with the sliced peaches? Or should I have ignored the hunger?
