Thats exactly how I am. I'm quite proud of myself today though. Although I know roughly how many calories I've had I haven't logged them or calculated them exactly. I even made room for a small treat so it will be a slow process but I really hope I can start relaxing again.

I wanna make this for lunch tomorrow - sounds so yummy!

Comfort food for me but low in fat and calories :)

Will have porridge or weetabix for breaky. Wholemeal toast and peanut butter or fruit for snacking. And probably beans on toast for another meal - got real cravings for it lately and something easy to make when I'm not feeling too good. Will try and allow myself a biscuit with my tea aswell!

Looking forward to Wednesday as I'm gonna spend the day making a cake for my sisters birthday then we are going out in the evening for an indian - which is my favorite food eveeeer! I'm allowed to eat what I want on Wednesday - although I will eat well up until the meal ;)

Really hoping I feel better tomorrow. Wanted to do my yoga but I have so little energy I couldn't even manage that! I just feel like sleeeep!
 
Ahh what a night.
Felt like I didn't sleep. If I did I woke up every hour because I remember checking my phone to see if it was time to get up. Don't feel too bad yet but can feel the tiredness creeping in and thought my cold might have gone but thats starting to creep back in as well. Oh and my 'favourite' time of the month means I have the added bonus of a stomach ache.
Lol sounds like I'm falling apart! Just glad I've got all this now so I'll be fine for my holiday.

Had hot weetabix for breaky :coolgleamA:

Gonna go get my duvet and curl up on the sofa again with lots of cups of teaaa (been up an hour and had 2 already) and watch daytime TV :D
 
Kristy! Where are you from?! you're up at 1:30am?! hahaha..I'm in California, I should be sleeping but I took a nap earlier today.

I exercise a lot because I sit on my ass all day. Literally...all day. I'm a college student and just study and sleep all day. I make up any person's "normal" exercise with a gym session.

Just had to post and recommend this recipe to everyone!



Soooo yummy! And low in calories and fat :D Instead of having it as a side I doubled the portion and had it as a main at about 300 calories.

Tomorrow I will attempt


Will double it up though to get a few more calories and probably make this for lunch

Never made a soup before.

I really don't understand why Brussel Sprouts are hated so much? I love them they're one of my favourite veg.

Just woke up and I feel goooood!
For a number of reasons
-I weighed myself and I'm now 117 again! Went up to 119 after my holiday and haven't really weighed myself since.
-My delivery should come today.
-It's my sisters birthday and we are going out to dinner.
-Going in town with my mum.
-I think my cold is gone or nearly gone.
-I'm making a cake.
-I'm using Dove Summer Glow to top up my tan and I'm glowing.
-I'm drinking my morning tea - Haha!

The only thing thats annoying me is I have slight TOM pains but that should be over soon.

I think weighing myself this morning and seeing I'm actually 117 will prevent me from over bingeing tonight. I'll just eat till I'm full and not use it as an excuse to stuff as much into myself as humanly possible! Can always bring home a doggy bag. I'm gonna have my favourite - Chicken Tikka - which is one of the healthiest choices apparently - and probably Bombay Potatoes or a veggie side dish.

Hopefully my cake goes well - I shall take pictures and upload them :)

im a control freak where it comes to my calories... as soon as i put something in my mouth i wanna google the calories count...

When you do it for a long enough time... you won't even have to google it! You will know the calorie count of everything off the top of your head. So you should both try to quit early, because it's much more difficult to stop counting calories when you already have everything memorized (my opinion from personal experience).

Nice work on deciding to stop counting calories Kirsty! :D

I am working on my double major in Economics. I finished my neurobiology degree in the spring.

I just took my two finals for session 1...my gosh, I hope I passed. Since I already walked in my commencement in June, I don't give a rats ass about school anymore.

Seriously, I hope I passed my class. What are you studying?!!

Thank you! I think if I did know the calories in what I'd eaten in the last 24 hours I would freak out so its definitely a good thing I stopped haha!

I'm doing Television Production going into my second year in September which I hear is alot harder than the first!


Little recap on the last day. Ate well yesterday then went out for dinner. Didn't overeat but had a generous helping of the cake I made which everyone loved! Woohoo! There's still some left though since I made so much.
Today went to London with my mum and the boyfriend and we decided to go to the Hard Rock Cafe. Was sooo yummy then came home and had another large helping of cake haha oh dear.
Anyways not seeing this as a really bad thing. I'll eat well tomorrow and do some exercise but I've reassessed my goals.

Basically instead of trying to get down to 115. I now wanna maintain my weight between 115 and 119. I was 117 yesterday morning but pretty sure I'm back to 119 lol anyways as long as I'm within this bracket I'm happy and will make me a lot more relaxed about my eating without become completely lazy with it!

Thanks to my new attitude to my weight I don't feel too bad today!
Obviously my belly feels heavier than normal which isn't nice for anyone but I'm pretty sure I'm still within my bracket and my body hasn't seized up so to speak! Normally it feels like its holding on the everything but I'm pleased to say everything seems to be in working order. I'm actually excited about what I can eat today. I think its my love of cooking and trying new recipes. Gonna make some soup probably and that Brussels stir fry that I spoke about in a previous post. My mid morning snack will be wholemeal toast with peanut butter as usual and then I have a small pineapple in the fridge that I will cut up and eat if I get peckish. Apples too.
 
Remind me never to make a birthday cake again.
Its currently sitting in the fridge staring at me everytime I open it haha - I will be strong but its just so good damn it! If there's still some left sunday I'll let myself have a small piece then.
Had a lazy day where food is concerned. Weetabix for breaky, slice of wholemeal toast as a snack and porridge for lunch. Thinking about making a vegetable curry for dinner with a bit of brown rice subtituting the potatoes I would usually have for brussel sprouts, sounds like it would be nice? We will see :)
Depending on how it goes. I'll make the same for lunch tomorrow to take to work with me - last day woop woop! Gonna cut up my pineapple aswell and eat half later if I get hungry and take the rest to work with me tomorrow.
 
Today went well in comparison to the two previous.
Made a veggie curry with a little bit of brown rice for dinner - will take to leftovers to work for lunch tomorrow.
I was a bit under my calories but generally wasn't hungry due to the amount I've eaten.
Hope my belly feels light again tomorrow.
Breaky will be Country Crisp as I need the calories until lunch.
Lunch will be my veggie curry and rice + pineapple, strawberries and apple.
Dinner will be porridge with raspberries as I need something lazy and comforting.

I really can't wait to go to my boyfriends and relax away from the family for a few days. I also won't think about food much as I'll just eat when he does. I assume we will go out for dinner one night as he keeps telling me about this pizza place that he wants to take me too but that will probably be the only meal that day - bad I know but I don't carry on this habit when I get home.

Anyways very sleepy now and long day at work tomorrow so I'm off to bed now.
 
Happy August People! :D

I guess the start of the month is a better time than any to think about what your doing and make new goals if need be. So here are a few I've already made and some general new ones.

Goals
Maintain between 115-119.
Don't count calories.
Try some different yoga.
Eat well on my holiday. It's gonna be hard finding healthy choices but I'm gonna look for options with a lot of veg where possible - and not have too much desert.

Still not feeling 100% after the other day but should be back to normal by tomorrow or Monday. Thats the only thing whenever I eat out or have a takeaway I still feel it for a good 3 or 4 days so that alone generally puts me off - but it was a special occasion.

Food for Today
Glass of Prune Juice - Miracle stuff!! Definitely recommend it!
Country Crisp + Semi-Skimmed Milk
Veggie Curry + Brown Rice

Things that make me Happy
Last day of work today!
Week today I go on holiday.
Going to stay with the boyfriend on Tuesday.

Despite having to work today I'm feeling pretty motivated for some reason. I think I'm a bit of a freak because I'm loving this rainy weather - well when I'm inside! And for some reason I can't wait for winter lol. I don't know - maybe its what the months leading up to Christmas include but I love England's greyness lately for some strange reason.

I'm really glad I finished work, thought I would be sad but I wasn't. Here's to having my Saturdays back and maybe some exciting things ahead?

Porridge.
Wholemeal Toast + Peanut Butter.

Beans on Wholemeal Toast

Depending on how I feel tummy wise tomorrow - I might substitute a meal for a slice of chocolate cake - bad I know but its gonna get eaten at some point!
Will weigh in on Monday most probably just to see how I'm doing.
 
Woke up feeling pretty good.
Tummy almost feels back to normal now but still gonna wait till tomorrow to weigh in.
Had porridge for breakfast even though I was tempted by my CountryCrisp. Really growing to love porridge and I'm only just getting peckish and ate it 2 hours ago. Think I will take some on holiday with me.
Lets hope the scale reads 117 again tomorrow :D or at most 118!

Hope everyone has a good day and makes good choices. We can all do it we just need to be strong and tell ourselves no sometimes!
 
Finally made this

And it was soooo good! I definitely recommend it. Its a nice big portion but low on the calories :D
I've now looked up millions of soup recipes that I intend to try. I mostly use
You can search for recipes within certain calorie amounts, cooking times, type of meal etc and then create a recipe book. I use it all the time.

I love cooking and that way I know there's not too much salt, sugar or fat secretly hiding in my food so I would recommend it to anyone who's trying to loose weight.

I'll have Baked Beans on Wholemeal Toast for dinner.
I don't know exactly whats happened but my digestive system seems to be almost perfect lately - even though I had two days where I ate badly. Normally this takes ages to resolve but everything has been working fine. I don't think I've been eating any different that usual really but I'm definitely not complaining! Maybe its taken this long for my body to completely adjust to a higher intake of fruit and veg as I'm now eating it every day and love it woop!

Weighed myself this morning and....
117!
Woop Woop!

Need to try and keep this stable now, if I loose the last 2 pounds great but as long as I stay at this weight I'm happy :) The scale did flicker between 116 and 117 at first but stepped on another time and it was a stable 117.
No more sabotaging! This time next week I'll be on holiday and need to stay strong! I'm dying for the cake in my fridge but won't let myself have any today. If I'm still at 117 tomorrow I'll let myself have a very small piece.
Getting my hair cut today - really needs it haven't cut it in about 12 weeks and your meant to do it every 6! A hair cut always makes me feel good :)
Then might be going to dinner with a friend but we will be going to Nandos if we do and I'll have a Grilled Chicken Breast Fillet in Pitta - YUM!
So I can balance everything else around it.
Breaky was yummy porridge!

Ahh pissed of cause the hairdressers was closed. Hate it when you look forward to something all day then can't do it.
Don't wanna risk going to another hairdressers - they'll probably mess it up!
Grr will have to see if they are open tomorrow or I'll have to go to another hairdressers as I won't have another chance for another few weeks.
I know its only a small thing but its really annoyed me!

On a side note I made this for lunch

Was quite nice - would make it again.

Dinner will be baked beans on toast - been having this alot lately as its so easy and tasty. Might add some mixed herbs to the beans for a bit of a twist?
Then I'll treat myself to two digestive biscuits.
Although I'm not strictly counting calories anymore. I do try and have a 'rough' idea of how many I'm eating and as I'm going to be maintaing I'm trying to increase slowly so I've been eating around 1200 but starting to try and eat 1300 which I should reach today.

Been doing some research and apparently I need roughly 1600 to maintain.
I'm excited about this - as I said before I'll increase slowly but looking forward to be able to eat this much again. Thought it would be much lower.
So ate about 1250 today. Will make it 1300 and slightly over for definite tomorrow.
I think I'll increase by 100 calories a week maybe?

Ohh got a phone call from my mobile phone company and I'm getting a Blackberry! Very excited :D

Getting my hair cut in about an hour woop woop!

I'm too lazy to style it much though.
I love choppy layers its so easy to blow dry and go and look like you've styled it :D
My fringe never goes that good though as I have a stupid cowlick on the right and I really have to plaster it in hairspray if I want it to stay flat.

Anyways back to food. Had porridge and will have some wholemeal toast before I go to get my hair cut. Not sure what to have for lunch though - I wanna cook something really - not rice though I've eaten alot of it this weekend. Gonna do some yoga today. Wanna start toning now and improving my posture. I'm too lazy for proper exercise. I can never see myself doing it every day but I do like yoga so think I could keep that up.
