Hey Tammy,
Kudos to you for getting your workout in with all of that stress! I take care of my granna, and I know better than anyone that no one is going to do it as perfectly as I would. It makes it hard not to take on EVERYTHING!! That place sounds disgusting. I am so sorry it was your only option, but he is so lucky that you care enough to visit every day and enough to do so much to get him into another facility.
Keep your head up hun, you will find the right place for him! And you know you are feeling good with all of that working out! :)
 
Holy moly - omg thats got to be sooo stressful for you. wow.
Surely you can press charges or something? or have him stay with you or other family?

Wow you are totally strong person if through all that you've stuck to your diet. Talk about committed!
If only i was able to help in any way - but its a bit of a hard task when im this far away :(
All i can offer you are my heartfelt hugs and warm wishes - which now seems kinda lame in comparison.

Hey Tammy, so sorry to hear about your stepdad and all the problems. That's just awful. I hope he gets moved soon so you don't have to worry about his safety. I agree with Wishes that you are truly a strong woman to have stuck to your diet through this difficult time. Sending good thoughts your way, and wish I could do more. Rachie
 
Thank you all very much for all the huggs and kind words really makes me feel better.I wish he could come home but I have 4 kids and also watch 3 kids during the day so I can't committ to taking care of him 24-7 my mom has to work to keep her house and take care of my 15 year old sis and my brother has 2 kids 2 jobs all his family lives all over the US so we are working on just getting him to a better home we checked out 2 that look great has great reveiws awesome rehab programs but the beds are full and we are on a waiting list,the other place we are waiting for the family doc to call with the oreder for a go ahead evealuation.

If only he could get use of his arms and hands back that would help a great deal he could atleast feed hiself take his meds bathroom ect which that isn't working either.His spine is still swollen and thier outlook is take it 1 day at a time to see what he gets back long road another words.

Ok as far as diet I am in MOTIVATED phase again I marked my calander 18th I started my 3 month personal challange.I will be 10X's happier at 164 the lose the other 15 lbs over the summer.It is suppose to pour all day today but looks like I can go for my walk tomorrow and Thursday yay I can't wait,meanwhile I will use all 3 of my indoor machines to = 30-45 minutes.
The scale said 192 already but I am waiting till Friday.

DAY 4 FOOD AND EXERSICE
egg subb w/ 2% chedder 1 slice of lite wheat toast
1 lean cuisine chciken club pinni w/ mustard
1 lean cuisine lasagna w/mini chciken patties 2 servs mixed veggies
1 slimfast peanutbutter crunch bar
20 green grapes
1 weight watchers cookie doe sundae/maybe
TOTAL CALORIES 1185
EXERSICES????
 
Tammy you are a really strong person and i admire your for it. i honestly hope you will be able to find a good nursing home that will treat your stepdad with respect and kindness. that place really sounds horrible and i can only imagine how helpless you must have felt when the inspection couldn't do anything.

I'm sorry your step dad has been living this nightmare. Is there a medical advocate that can help you expedite this process? I hope for the best. And great job on the elliptical, I have plans for that this afternoon after work. Can't wait! Keep up the positive attitude, it really helps for motivation.

Just checkin in on ya girly - keep your focus - your doing this - althoguth this situation sux dont use it as an excuse to get off track - you've finally gotten back on - Im here for ya - lets keep ya going through this - today is Wednesday do we need to report or weight in our challenege every three days right - I will report what it was on Mon and report it today - Never mind we decided to report in on friday but after that for next week - I want us to report Monday weight and then report on Wednesday too - gotta make sure oyu are stayign on track...

Just remeber eat sensibly and try to get that 30 mins minimum everyday and you will continue to succeed

Good afternoon everyone,


Lol Cerella I am not a morning person I usually hop on here from lunch to sleep off and on,the kids in the morning getting them ready for school 2 girls and a boy all crabby and my little guy who likes to throw all night playpen parties till 5 AM I am exhausted when I get up lol!
Anyhoo girl I am so on track and I am not quitiing I woke up and ate me a piece of baked chicken breast sounded good instead of breakfast foods and don't know why I decided to make me a tanning bed appointment this is how I keep from looking like red lobster in the spring/summer.
I never tried a stand up bed so we'll see how that goes.I have plans for walking just waiting for it to warm up a lil more because alto of the walkways are still 1/2 ice 1/2 slush and I do not need to fall.

We can weight in anytime the scale said 191 this morning I just didn't want to update my ticker till Friday I have stuck with Friday's for almost a year but for our records I can jot it down over there ---->.

I will be back with foods later cuz I don't have a clue what I am in the mood for.Have a nice day Tammy:)
 
Yikes at your stepdad's situation. It must be so hard. You're a strong woman though - I know you get through it. Keep on there tails, no one should be treated like that.

You're diong great with the exercise! Keep it up!! :D:D
 
Good job for evaluating where you are, where you want to be and making plans to reach those goals!!! You are doing so great under the pressure you have on you. Keep up the good work. I hope everything works out in your and your families favor.

I went to tanning bed today 1st time in like 3 years and my 1st time in a stand up bed it was really neat and hott lol I did a whole 7 minutes and I am pink lol.I also decided to have my eyebrows done I figured what the heck never done them before well the wax wasn't bad but the plucking was torture lol the things we do to look beautiful.I am getting a heads up on the tanning so I won't burn when spring and summer arives.
I am waiting on hubby so I can get a mini walk in because the sidewalks still doesn't look pretty it's ok in some parts.

DAY 5 FOOD
1 peice chciken breast(breakfast lol)
1 healthy turkey sandwhich w/ mustard
1 slimfast peanutbutter crunch
1 lean cuisine lasagna w chicken scallopis
2 servs mixed veggies
15 green grapes
15 green grapes again
1- 60 calorie carmel pudding
TOTAL CALORIES 1150 CALS
EXERSICE BE BACK:)
