SweatPea is going to sweat it all off...

Well yesterday I did manage to get on the treadmill - yay! So all is good. I think we have a busy day planned - well as soon as the momma and baby decide it's time to get up. ;)

Okay girl I knos that you should be back by now so I expect to be seeing you cracking the whip. LOL:rotflmao:
Glad to have you home.
See ya at class tonight!

Why yes, I am back!

I got back around 5pm on Wed. Then dh decided to take me out for dinner and we stopped and bought a new tv.

So we didn't get home until after 7pm. I was exhausted and went to bed at 9:45 pm, then didn't wake up until 7:45 am. I guess I just needed some sleep.

Yesterday I was still dragging and so I didn't get any exercise in. This morning I got a call at 7:15 am to come in and sub. I was still sleeping! LOL So I guess exercise was out this morning - hoping to do some this evening. But I am totally bushed and feel like I've been working out all day long!

I did gain 1.5 lbs while on vacation. Hopefully it will be gone by tomorrow's weigh-in. I am kind of disappointed as I haven't lost much at all even during this challenge. And I figure I've been doing well as far as exercise goes. Maybe not so well on the nutrition part (getting in more cals than I should.)

Some days I just want to give it up totally. :(

Dont let the gain bother ya too bad- after all that's not THAT bad for a week's "vacation". Just get ready to be on the ball again tomorrow.

I know what ya mean- I haven't lost as much as I thought/hoping for, but I did GAIN alot of support. And in the past, I would have gained all I had lost by now and started yo yoing again- so I'm still grateful and in a much better position than I was before joining this challange!

Thanks Yarmiah for the pep talk. :)

I have been there. Keeping my goal in mind and knowing that the weight loss part is not forever (maint. is another thing) helps me keep my focus. It has an end to it. You have come a long way, I am sure you know all that. If you really-really want to lose the weight SweatPea, it will happen!!!
When I felt like giving up, that is when I kicked it up a notch. Started meticulosly (sp?) counting my calories and exercising like a banshee. And gave myself like 3-4 weeks. If nothing were to happen during that time I was going to give it up. Then the lbs started falling off and here I am !!!
Please don't give up, some days are harder than others.
And don't fret the weight gain, a lot of it is water, when I don't watch what I eat i gain like 3 lbs water weight. And just like Yarmiah said 1.5 lbs gain is not much for a vacation. I gained 9!!!!!:eek:

Heads up my fellow team member!! Better times are coming!!

Thanks Hajni, I knew I could count on you for a pep talk.

I did step on the scale this morning and am back down to where I was before I left. 168.5. So all is good there.

I do work out really hard (when I work out.) I guess I'm not so tight on my calories sometimes - so maybe that is it? I don't know. I will give it 4 wks of just kicking it - then we will see, right?

Just got done with an awesome elliptical workout - did 28 min. on it and got in 2.36 miles (with over 3000 revs.) I was working that thing.

Then did a 40 min. fast walk on the treadmill - getting in another 2 miles.

Going to go take a shower and get this house tidied up.

You go Girl!~
Man you sure can kick it in gear! I don't have that kinda resolve when it comes to exercising.
Maybe I can borrow some from you :)p
Have a great rest of the day!

Had to get in my exercise early this morning as we have window installers here (again.) That means more staining to come - and I will have to do it quickly this time around since the weather is changing (no procrastination.)

I got on the elliptical for 35 min. (5 min. cool down) and got in 2.78 miles and over 5000 revs. :D

I was going to do some weights, but that will have to wait until tomorrow because I didn't have enough time (so that I could get in the shower before the workers showed up.)

They are here now and will probably be here for the next couple of hours - depending on how much rain we will be getting (guess it might take longer if it rains too much.)

And then later, I have to pick up a gentleman from dialysis (he goes to our church), so I knew I wouldn't have time to get in a workout later.

Staying on plan with water and food too.

Way to go on your exercise early in the morning!!
The pita recipe is in the RECIPES thread. I made my mods to it and it came to like 80 calories for the whole thing. It is awesome!!!

Hey There Sweetpea!! Great job on all your exercise, WOW that's just incredible, no wonder your losing that weight. What did you start at weight wise?? And where is your TICKER?? I can't see your progress? I know your down in the 160's I wish I was down in the 160's right now. LOL How tall are you???? I think that's totally awesome of you to help out that gentlemen during dialysis, really that's a wonderful thing for you to do. AHHHH speaks volumes about who you are!

Hey Sweatpea!
Glad to hear that you got your exercise in early. And another window?! Aren't you guys about done with windows yet? LOL
What's this is see about a recipe....hmmmm? You must tell me all about it.
Have a great day watching the window guys and your absolutely the sweetest for helping Bud with his dialysis. I wanted to but with everyone in our house being sick this week didn't think it was such a good idea. Hopefully we can get in on the next rotation.
Talk to you later!

Great workout, SweatP!
I prefer to get it done early in the morning and out of the way, that way its not hanging over my head all day. Keep up the great work!
