SweatPea is going to sweat it all off...

Don't really know the difference so much. But do know for sure that I wouldn't want to weigh nekkid at work!!!!!!
1st of all that would be weird.....
2nd it's like 38* in there...........BBBRRRRRRR!!!!!!

Well you would definitely stay perky.....

I am done with today's workout. I got in 20 min. on the elliptical - did the cross-trainer workout. Then, did 30 min. on the treadmill with a heart rate workout for "fat burner" (ha!)

Now to behave tonight when I take Bell out for her bday dinner!

donst it feel good to get teh exercise out of the way earlier in the day?

Enjoy your dinner- if you know you will want dessert, try ordering an appetizer as a main course with a salad. Also, if you eat a little something before hand, it may help curb the hunger. have a great time!

I'm reposting this cause it was so much fun posting it the first time! Oh and I forgot the artsy fartsy place I took Bell too - well not forgot just forgot to mention it on the Casper thread. It was so much fun making fun of what some consider "art". I will post some pics as soon as I get them uploaded and cropped. :)

Here's my post from the Casper thread:

Hey all just a quick check-in this morning. Bell and I did ok, but not great, but it was all good and fun!

She's a party girl - JK - but if she were (and I were) we'd be quite the pair! We hooped it up at the restaurant - got carded over diet coke and ice tea. :D Then, we took it over to Kohls she got her some new tennies - and wore them out of the store, the lady at the register didn't know what to do with her. She was checking her old boots for the correct sizes inside the box - even though we explained to her that she was wearing the tennies! She threw her leg up on the counter to show her!

Then we made a mad dash to the Barnes and Noble store - and tore around in there like it was nobody's business - reading diet books of all things! Of course while picking up the calorie counting books we should've been looking at the cals of those frappuccinos we decided to have (good thing we picked lite!) Then, we got this real fun book - well I got it - but you know she will be using it all the time when she gets her hands on it. It's a TV Alter Ego book - and it's quite fun!

So then we closed out the Bed, Bath, and Beyond store - we were like the only customers in there when they announced the "take your time and shop, but the store is now closed" message. So we fooled around for a few more min. 'til we got to the register so she could buy a bday card! LOL
The funny thing was when we went in to the store it was 10 min. till 9 and the cashier wouldn't look at us when we came in. Kind of like the dog who if they don't see you, you don't see them look. LOL

I :beating: my Bell, she's a hoot!

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Oh and I'm going to take my dog for a long walk today because Bell's oldest son is coming over to job shadow with my dh - and I don't want to be exercising in front of him since my dh works from home somedays....

Have a good one!

Ooh man! Just got back from a sweatin' walk with my dog! I'm not sure exactly how far (I will have to calculate it when I drive that way later.) But we walked for 67 min (and even jogged a little.) And got in over 11,000 steps on my pedometer! I need to go take my shower now....whew!

My doggie is a Schnoodle, cross between a Schnauzer and a Poodle. Supposed to be one of those cross-breeds where people pay the bucks. I got him from a rescue shelter. :) He's a cutie.

Looks like a good number is waiting for you on that scale tomorrow!!! You did great with all your exercises!!
Ps: Your dog is cute!!
Sorry I have been a little slacking on the diary visiting department, I am slammed at work and even busier at home. I have periods like that and usually everything calms down for a while.
Great work!! The third week is almost over!! just remembered I have to do my measurements too for inches lost tomorrow.
Have a great day!!
Hajni

Thanks for stopping by Hajni - you have definitely had a busy schedule with work and then messing with a flat tire!

I can't wait to see your measurement updates!

Thanks Tropical girl about my pooch...he is quite fun.

Thanks Steve.

Just got done with my workout. I didn't do the pilates, but did the Yourself Fitness workout. It says I only burned 157 cals, but I think I burnt more than because I'm sweating for sure. Maybe there is a good reason my NN is Sweat-Pea! Ha!

Anyway, this is my last time on the forum today, I've got lots to get done. I also won't be around tomorrow too much (maybe an early, early morning post for my weigh-in). I am going out with the girls from church for our annual fall outing (yay another day to hang out with Bell!)

Any exercise is good, no matter what the counter says. Good luck at the weight in tomorrow and have a great time at the church event!

Yesterday we went to this historic site which in itself was pretty interesting - they showed the differences between the houses in 1836 and then in another setting at 1856. So that was neat, but then again it was a bit boring (for me.) It was good just to get out with friends though. Of course I kept poking fun at stuff and so don't know how many friends I have left. :D

I didn't eat any junk even though there was plenty around. It was a little disappointing that the regular restaurant wasn't serving food and that only the buffet side was open. I opted out of that and went down to the "festival" food. Well of course not much to choose from there, but I halved a 1/2 of a bbq sandwich with Bell and we watched out for each other so that we didn't eat any junk. :)

We walked most of the day except for the tram ride, but there was over 200 acres to cover, so I'm sure it was a good walk even though it was slow.

Got home late and so I didn't get online to check anything, plus I was tired.

Today I think I'm taking it easy. We have a church function tonight and I have to be good then too. That will be hard, but I will do it - 10 pts is a lot to throw away (for the challenge.)

HI SweatPea,
It must be awesome to have such support from Bell who is right there with you. You can motivate and watch out for each other.
Congrats on the 1/2 lbs loss. You deserved to see a loss you worked so hard for it this past week!!!
Keep it up and you will keep losing!! LOL
Hajni

Thanks Hajni,

My dh says he can see it in my face and my body is definitely toning up. I did notice my shorts today aren't as snug in places. So that's progress!

I guess my "news" this morning is that I'm drinking half n' half coffee... Half regular and half decaf!

Ok so that's not really news...LOL But dh can bring coffee home from the office. Usually it's starbucks, but they had these other brands as well this time around. So he brought home this package of decaf. It smelled pretty good, but I can't fathom drinking coffee just to drink it - I like the caffeine (I know, I know bad for healthiness...whatever! I read something new everyday, like this morning I saw an article about how coffee is good for your skin and helping to prevent skin cancer --- so there all you non-coffee drinkers!)

Anywho, the coffee is really good and tastey. It's got a nice flavor to it, even if I blended it with some caffeinated starbucks. ;)

Well off to exercise - today is my half n' half day I guess. I will be on the elliptical for 20 min. then on to the treadmill to complete my workout. :D

"Half-Caf" is how I drink my coffee all the time now. After I had an issue a few years ago with heart palpitations, it was reccomended to cut back on caffeine (which I never really had ALOT of anyway), so its hlf/caf coffee and diet caffeinie free sodas when I drink em'.

Keep up the good work Sw'pea! I'm off to walk to school and hit the NT myself!
