Hello everyone and goodbye to my old body. I'm Ryan... I'm 24 and 5'10". I'm a 1/2 Japanese and American guy who moved here(San Jose, CA) from Japan earlier this year in pursuit of a better job. I got the better job, but I also found the amazing foods that the US has to offer and spent too much time discovering my way from an already heavy weight into a 255 pound body.
I haven't always been this heavy. At the start of college, I was around 170 pounds and feeling great. As time flew by and responsibilities added up, I found more time to do anything unhealthy than time to make a change. OR! I just got lazy...
but I am done making excuses and wasting time.
My target weight is 190 pounds. I hope to lose about 10 pounds a month in order to get there.
I've started biking to work(14 miles roundtrip) and dieting(2200 calories/day)...
Right now, motivation is good, but it's so easy to lose... so I have to just do it! Well... I'm off to bike to work! Good luck everyone else! I hope I can post results soon!
