You always make me hungry for Japanese food.
 
I have to work this weekend... and all week! I'm actually pretty happy about that. The workplace can be pretty fun with a lot less people.

My exercise has been going good! I lift everyday... I've been jumping rope... going on walks... doing a little Wii Fit! I kinda wish Wii Fit had a few different settings for how it speaks to the user. Somedays I'd like someone to kick my ass a little. Other days, perhaps be a little sensitive... like "Obese! More to LOVE!"

Eating has been great too, but I had no idea that TOGO's could kill a diet. I need to be more careful with my overtime meals!

My friends are falling off here and there and it's hard to motivate them, but one friend is doing great! I haven't seen him in a few days and when he came back, the change was drastic! It's amazing how much good food and exercise can change everything about someone!

I've set some fitness goals and rewards. I'm well on my way to my new tattoo and guitar amp! I'll have to think of my next set of goals soon.

So I'm on 12 hour days right now for the next week with a possible overnight on Sunday... I'm going to be pretty lonely sitting in the office for that long, but I guess it needs to get done!
...oh and even though I didn't mention much about it, a few things about work have finally come together! I pieced a lot of strange events from the past month together(kinda like a detective) and figured out some things about my project... I don't know if I should be pissed or happy!


I'll choose happy for now though... I like me better that way.

My workouts have been great. I'm going easy on the weights right now to mix things up. I've been doing more aerobic exercise instead. I believe it's had a positive effect! My measurements have been better and the weight is coming off!!!

My friend Josh and one of my team members, Matt, has decided to start getting in shape too! It's amazing how much just a few people's changes in the office have spread so much. In my field, most people are overweight and unhealthy... maybe that's going to change! I like thinking that just through example, I've made a positive change in other people's life!
 
Yes, I sure hope it's a chain reaction of health! Bring on the carrot sticks :D Take care, enjoy your workouts, glad your body's getting tighter.

...I'm back! I did have to work a 24 hour shift on Sunday... actually stayed at the office for 28 hours. Hopefully it wasn't all for nothing! Also... I believe the crazy shifts and especially the 24 has resulted in some unhealthy weight loss. Since the 17th, I lost 7 pounds without changing diet or exercise from the normal routine... I don't seem to be tired or anything either so we'll see how it goes! Probably my body eating away at my muscles.

Even though I can't really mention too much about my job, I can say that if things go well for me for the next 2 weeks, things will go great for me for a long time after! I just have to roll with the punches.

Artmonster - good to hear you've been biking! I may be moving somewhere safer so I can start biking again too. I really want to see if I have more stamina on the bike after I've lost this much weight. Keep it up!

I don't know what happened this week. I've been eating well, lifting a good amount, playing some Wii Fit... and then dropped 5 pounds. I guess some weeks are just faster than others!

a friend of mine said he was done with the diet. after a while, I learned that it was because he was not getting the same results that I am. I had to convince him that it's no good to compare yourself to other people... looks like he's back on track now. Yesterday he told me that he needs to buy a new belt.

Hmmm... I'm going to need a new belt soon too. I'm on 4 of 5 loops... I bought it when it was difficult to wear the belt at all! I may keep it as a trophy when I'm done.

ok... so it looks like I'm 210 now. that means I'm 10 pounds away from getting some new tattoos for my collection. After I get those, I think I'll post pictures at 190 since that's my ticker goal.

So now that I'm down a good amount of weight... it looks like a lot of my original goals were a little off. I still want to get to them! and I'll celebrate well, but I am also going to have to make new goals and just see where it takes me!
One of the hardest challenges has been all the stuff going on at work. It seems every other day something crazy happens and all the stress packs on again! Luckily, I'm no longer an emotional eater. Stress doesn't send me to the fridge... but I do like to take small mental vacations. Sometimes I go to New Caledonia. If you don't know of it... look it up! You'll want to visit there too.

Finally found a new place to live... I'll be in there by tomorrow. I was really afraid that I'd be homeless for a while.
So with the time I've been gone, I've only lost 2 pounds. That really not a problem for me, I just assumed it would have been more. Oh well! It will happen!!!
