Sunshine's Diary - lets give it a shot

Well since you're back - and focusing on food, I'd better get working again too! lol. Keep eachother in check!

Curves was intense today - I am really frustrated about waiting to hear back about a job - a friend of mine heard back yesterday and I'm in limbo waiting! Sooo....took it out on my workout! lol - felt Great afterwards! Hopign to go insane again tomorrow!

**I'll start recording food again when it's not so gross - although it's still Dinners that are KILLING me - so I need to focus on that -
 
Feeling Lazy today but it's in the plan to go to CURVES! lol.
Tonight is a BBQ at my parents, so I need to focus on healthy eating all day - my mom is pretty good about having veggies/dip as snacks though so that's good :D

Starting OVer Today!

Okay, I am officially having a good day food/exercise wise so it's the first day of my new start - my weight is higher than it was when I started before - gross, so I need tomake a new ticker - and keep track! Curves was great today - I'm actually having FUN exercising and wow, what a difference it makes! lol.

Food:
Breakfast - Egg on Toast, glass of water, coffee
Lunch (haven't had it yet)
Dinner (haven't had it yet)

Exercise: CURVES (+ 3 machines!)
 
keeping track of my food here definately helps and I hope it works for you too!!! dinners usually kill me as well - but if I eat enough the rest of the day and do portion control its much easier to finish the day strong!

you might have gained some weight through just the muscle you are putting on - they do inches measurements and stuff at curves, don't they? hopefully it means that you are just toning up =)

They do once a month measurements at Curves (Mine is on the 4th) so hopefully that shows some improvements. My weight hasn't changed much - and it MAY be partially due to muscle, but I'm thinking I don't look much different either - meaning I need to Keep on myself about the food!!

Yesterday
Breakfast - Egg on Toast, glass of water, coffee
Lunch 1: Home made tacos 1 1/2 : Tortillas, brown beans, tomatos, sour cream, lettuce

Lunch 2: Tuna sandwich on whole wheat and Tomato Soup, water

Dinner: Hamburger (on bun with toppings), Hot dog - no bun/no toppings, water

Snack: Microwave popcorn - lots. lol

Overall: Not too bad, I give myself an OK for yesterday - I can do better, but that was a much better day than I've been ahving lol. I need to drink more water, again, I did okay, but not great!

Today:
Curves + 4 machines! Didn't work as hard as yesterday but I had a muffin for breakfast - not a lot of protein...
 
make sure you watch portions! I have the horrible habit of making a bag of popcorn and sitting down and eating the whole thing... this last time, I made the bag, divided it into thirds - and then I have three snacks for around 150 cals a piece... and that amount was enough to fill me up. Setting aside a set portion helps so much!
 
THanks! And thanks for the good idea - cause I definitely eat way too much if the whole bag is sitting in front of me

Dinner was a TV dinner tonight - not a GREAT choice, but considering what I've been eating, not BAD - Home alone on a Friday night - what's a girl to do? lol

Lunch: Tomato Soup/Tuna Sandwich
Breakfast: Muffin (Not super healthy and next to no protein, BAD choice)

Drank a fair amount of water today, but am drinking vodka/lemonade in my lonliness tonight, lol - the Fiance went to a drive in with friends - I worked too late to go. :( Oh well - nice and quiet night to read my new book!

Saturday = BAD FOOD DAY.
Let's just say the afternoon started off with a Portuguese wedding shower...Then friends came over we all went out for wings and hten came back here...Gross to food yesterday. SOooo To make up for it, today I will drink double the amount of water I'msupposed to and have to pee every five seconds ;)

Too bad Curves is closed on Sundays :( lol
 
Goal this week 1-2 pitures of water daily. I NEED to do it, and it's a good week b/c it's going to be bloody hot out there!
 
Drank lots of water today (and yesterday!) No Curves today - I drove out to visit my grandma and we hung out at a pool all day - she loved it. ANND! The fiance and I bought new bikes! lol - I've been trying to convince him for ages, but he had to wait until it seemed like it was HIS idea lol

So we went for a 30 minute bike ride - which in 30*Celsius weather is pretty intense - my butt is KILLING me from the seat -I'd better get used to it! lol

Anyway - CURVES tomorrow for sure, Tuesdays seem to be No-Curves days, lol

Did OK for food today - actually I did pretty good, I'll try to remember

Breakfast: SMALL tims' coffee, breakfast sandwich (egg & Cheese)

Lunch (over a period of 2 hours) 1 egg salad sandwich, 1 salami sandwich both on whole wheat
Scoop of potato salad, scoop of coleslaw
1 can of Iced Tea

Dinner: Small Steak *not sure what kind* - BBQ'd potatos and broccoli (YUM)
Can of V8 juice (counts as 1 veggie serving)

Water: at least 2 litres
Yesterday water was SUPER!
 
way to go!!!! I'm going to attach my water bottle to my hip (well, not literally) and carry it everywhere with me today... i tend to get more water in if its available...
 
Curves this morning +3 extra machines - the workout was KILLER today with the heat - and leftover sore/tiredness from bike riding last night. But I did it, and now i'm going to have a super duper shower :D

Oh man - TRIED to ride a bike tonight but the seat is doing a number on my butt - 3 minutes and I had to get off - I'm hoping it doesn't take too long to adjust cause I really wanted to go out tonight - it cooled off nicely b/c we got rain - hopefully I'll get out tomorrow

FOOD
Breakfast: Banana, Breakfast bar, yogurt

Lunch: Tuna Sandwich w/ cheese
Handful of Sour Cream/Onion Lays
- something else? lol

Dinner: Chicken wings, celery/carrots - It was cheap wing night ;)

Overall : Not terrible, but not great - my dinner could have been improved, but I DID do curves today, lol.
 
Lazy day - and crappy foods, lol. Overall - not good. Tomorrow hoping to go for a nice long bike ride along some trails - that should be fun and exercise ;) And packed lunches = healthy foods :D
 
Curves + 7 machines! WOOHOO! lol, Now I definitely need a shower. I was sort of in a funk yesterday - not wanting to exercise, I'm glad I forced myself today, I feel sooo much better!

add a 30 minute bike ride to today's exercise and you've got one tomato red gal lol. Man, now that the bf and I have bikes, he's all crazy for bike rides! I can't say no because it's the only exercise he gets, lol. Need him to work off that beergut before the wedding.
Food not going too bad today
Breakfast: Cereal (shredded wheat), Yogurt, Glass of Milk 2%
Lunch: Not sure if I had it? Hmm...
Water: 2 500ml bottles so far still chugging away

Tonight is a partay at our house so lots of booze will be added so that is plenty o' calories - I must have had something for lunch...

Ohh! A mini pizza - oops, no wonder I couldn't remember - not a great choice! lol
