Sun's Diary

Oh man.. sorry to hear about your mom. Hope she is doing well & you are hanging in there too.

Don't stress over lost time... now is the only time you can change. :)

Good luck.

Sorry to hear about your mom's injury. I hope she recovers quickly. I dont know much about concussions, but I'm assuming there's no long term consequences?

Itallian food is my downfall. I'm glad that you were able to go again and hold steady.

Dont worry about the last two days, just jump in where you are, you're not behind.

I am incredibly sorry to hear about your mother, I hope feeling better.

I should try the whey protein shakes (once I get some money) because I don't think my diet is getting as much protein as its should. (i think its getting too much glucose  )

And reading this thread wants me to go play DDR! Grrr...but I don't know why, but I did feel very self consious playing it in the arcade. I guess I was afraid people might have thought i was nerdy...grr! If I can get the mat and play it on my ps2 in my own private home, it would be awesome! Sometimes, you get bored of the cardio machines at the gym, or jogging, and you want to do something fun!

Also, if you are bored (and tired), check out this website. I haven't been there for a while, but was motivated to go after reading this thread :)

Yeah....not too bad as long as she doesn't geta blood clot....but she has been holding ice packs to the back of her head all day long and taking Advil and stuff....and the doc said if she felt worse she should go see him cause the swelling could be on the inside of her skull and push her brain....she's been complaining that her head hurts worse today than yesterday so I said I'd bring her back to the doc again 2morrow....hopefully nothing is too serious and by this weekend she'll be fine...

Yeah, I've been to the Flash Flash Revolution site before....but I have "stepmania" where I can play that offline on my comp and download more songs and stuff....

Lunch: Smart Ones frozen dragon shrimp lo mein= 6 pts
Snack: 2 No Pudge Fudge Brownies= ?8 pts?
Dinner: yet to come...

Weighed myself this morning and was 205 even....told my mom and she was like, oh that's good cause an average to lose weight each week is 2 lbs cause if it's more it's only water weight...

Congrats on the weight loss!

I also have heard that if you are losing more than 2 lbs a week its unhealthy. Wasn't sure exactly if it was water or what. Also heard that anything lost at a faster rate than that is sure to come back... with a vengeance but don't know if thats a fact.

Wouldn't it be nice to just loss faster though.... healthily!

I'm sorry about your mother. I hope she feels better tomorrow and that the dr's appointment will go well.

Congrats on the weight loss, that's awesome! 2 lbs a week is a good amount to lose. It's no unsual for people to lose more than that at first, but it does slow down. It wouldn't be healthy to try and maintain that original type of weight loss. 1-2 lbs a week is maintainable!

Keep up the awesome work!

hey..how's the DDR gal doing?

hope DDR mum feels better. How old is she?

congrats on the weightloss too. Slow n steady wins the race! (i learnt this here hahah)

ha u reali like mexican food huh????

Mom had a Cat scan today and nothing is wrong....So I went with Shane to waste 3 hours of my time watching Pirates 3....wasn't very good...got a bad rating overall and only 2 out of 5 stars from critics...

"Brunch" taking mom to get the CAT scan: Chewy Granola Chocolate Chip= 2 pts
Lunch (at 2 lol): Chick-fil-A Chargrilled Chicken Wrap with Low Fat Honey Mustard Dressing= 9 pts
Dinner: Subway Turkey breast wrap (3 pts) and Baked Sour Cream Chips (2 or 3 pts I think?)

17 today.....I'm eating on the diet plan as if I was 140-something lol
But hey...it's working! But 2morrow Shane and I are going to eat breakfast and Panera Bread for lunch and go do something....I dunnno whaaaaat.....but should be fun ^_^

PinkyDolly yeah, we like this one mexican place here cause it's good, and we like our fresh-made guacamole (a lady makes it in front of you however you want it) So for a bowl of guacamole, Shane's fajitas and my enchiladas the total was $23.something... (I paid for it which makes Shane a happy boy lol)

I don't care what you say I'm seeing Pirate's today :p I've heard good things about it personally. I don't listen to critics or anything like that. I just go and see for myself :D I already know I'll like it. People said that the second one wasn't very good either and I absolutely loved it, so, I have a positive feeling about the third one, for myself :D

Have fun with whatever you guys decide to do!

By the way, what's panera bread?

I'm glad to hear that your mom is in good health and that there are no complications with the concussion.

I LOVED pirates! And thought it was the best of the three :). Going to see it a second time tomorrow...

I'm glad you're seeing progress with the point system!

Risty Panera Bread is a sandwich/soup/bread/bagel place....I like their "You Pick Two" And you get a choice of half a sandwich, with either soup or salad, and either chips, an apple,or a french or whole grain bagguette

Yeah, I mean...I dunno...the movie was just kinda long for me I guess...::shrugs::

Lunch: Panera Bread You Pick Two with Turkey Artichoke Panini with low fat chicken noodle soup and a whole grain bagguette= 11.5 pts
Snack: Half a pretzel shared with Shane from Auntie Anne's ( no salt, no butter)= 3 pts (damn bread/dough lol) marinara sauce to dip it in=0 pts
Dinner: Los Cucos....lol....too much mexican I know...Small Chicken Fajitas (no butter) =??? pts ( but should be a better choice than enchiladas which would have hidden butter etc)

DDR for 6 songs today ....One I had to bend over and use my hands :p
and also wrestled Ju JItsu with Shane (lol)....

Tomorrow morning I weigh in against my mom....last Sunday I was 207....this morning I was 204....so something is definately happening...maybe I'll be 203 2morrow morning? (she said she also thought about giving me $10 per pound lost instead of just $20) haha

I decided against watching Pirates cos it only received one 'popcorn' rating frm the critics. Heard that unless u watched 1 and 2, it's pointless catching it.

glad yr mum is ok! :)

i found a mexican restaurant in town. it's high class food here since it's rare. there r more italians and french food around. but think i'll see if they hv those stuff u mentioned.

$10 per pound? heheh.... sounds like at the butcher lol. sorrie!:p

2 lbs is great - excellent on the loss - Im glad your mom's scan was ok...10 bucks a lb - sheesh is mother rentable - ha ha ha

Congrats on the weight loss, that's awesome for sure!!!

That Panera Bread place thingy sounds good! It'd be nice to have a place where you can choose things like soup! I loves soup.

I saw the movie and it was soooo awesome! Pinky, you're right, I think you would have to see the first two before seeing the third. There's funny parts in there that wouldn't be so funny if you didn't watch the previous and things like that. Plus the whole storyline might be confusing too. However, they are all awesome and you should see it! You can buy the first 2 pretty cheap now that they've been out for a while. I love buying movies a few years later cause they're so much cheaper. Sometimes I'm just way too impatient though, lol.

PinkyDolly The fajitas are really easy to make....if you go grocery shopping get some "Mission Tortillas Carb Concious Whole Wheat" (has 8 grams of fiber PER tortilla) and frozen Tyson strips of chicken (or you can make the chicken breast yourself and cut them in long strips) and some onions and green peppers or something....and put some of the chicken and veggies with cut tomatoes and lettuce in the tortilla....

Risty Yeah sometimes I feel like doing that but by the time the movie comes out if I really liked it I go and get it anyway lol

So mom and I weighed in...I'm 204.2 and she lost 4....so she 'won' by a pound...but I was like, no fair, you have more weight to lose so it'll fall off you easier than me...so she was like, you're right...so since you lost 3 pounds you get $30 for this week....:rotflmao: :jump:

Lunch: Smart Ones Three Cheese Marinara = 6 pts
Snack: Weight Watchers Chocolate Cookies and Cream Ice Cream Bar ( veeeerrry good hehe) = 2 pts

Dad wants to make meatloaf tonight....I dunno how many points that is but I'm scared to know...

I want your mom, too! Ten dollars a pound is definitely good motivation, though maybe that's too tempting for me.

Panera Bread sounds a lot like Atlanta Bread Company that we have around here. Good place to eat though Josh doesn't like to bring me because they're expensive for a sandwich/soup only type place.

I think its awesome you and your mom is on the weight loss journey together.

I have a friend who is obese, and his mom and dad are too. His mom really helps him, but his dad always continues to buy junk food and stashes it in the fridge and buys him fast food and such. Its difficult for him to live in that enviroment, but he has been making out all right.

Having such an influential figure in your life in sync makes it so much easier.

Congrats on the weight loss, that's awesome for sure!!!

heh i'm cheapskate. i borrow from frends. and abt the movie, heard that Chow Yun Fatt didn't do well for this. Wat a shame cos he's the big bro of HK movie industry. Oh well guess not everyone can be like Jackie Chan and make it big in Hollywood.

...

Is there a dip to go with fajitas? it sounds dry with the ingredients u mention. Or maybe the chicken already cooked in some sauce?

Carb concious Whole Wheat tortillas? Wow... wat an invention.
I see if i can find something similar here. Think i'll go google recipes instead of bothering u hehe.
