Stopinthe excuses & starting a diary

i know i got the calorie sheet one time, i almost passed out the cals were so high lol
my frozen treat now frozen grapes and banana pcs i love them(not DQ i know but hey i gotta have something)
 
You said it L... some things just arent worth the cal...and DQ is one of them... if you said I could have that slathered all over some hot hunk..maybe :-D but not w/ out him... I guess i like mine w/ nuts then huh! LOL

B: oatmeal w/ handful of all bran cereal
coffee w/ skim milk

S: 1 hardboiled egg w/ 1 mozz ch stick

L: 1/2 turkey wrap w/ veggies no cheese
jello pudding FF cup, 4 Oz yogurt w/ 1 Tbsp of allbran
100 cal nabisco snacks

S: (before workout) peanut granola bar

S: after workout...starving while cooking dinner_ had about 20 peanuts and 2 celery sticks

Dinner: 1/2 breast of ginger chic (non breaded) w/ veggies & oranges, 1 cup of risotto, salad w/ sesame dressing

Dessert will probaby be a yogurt or a jello pudding cup...something low cal

Exercise: 1 hr total, 10 min on elliptical (nearly died..im so not used to that thing) 30 min on treadmill- did interval hills every minute and a half- weights and abs for 20 (100 crunches)

might be going climbing again tomorrow... kinda psyched..its very empowering!

thanx for posting and thanx for the motivation. i read through your diary, you have so much willpower, i admire that. you are doing so well, im so sick today ive got the flu and im taking every form of vitamen c i dont want my daughter to get ill. i feel like pulling my eyes out they itch so much. im having a bad day and its not even monday. but im still going strong, i just miss thatenergy i have every morning. tell you what that bloated feeling is so pathetic i dont have it anymore and u right its not worthed going back to the way we ate. my body has adjusted to my new plan and i dont feel so heavy anymore.well goodluck to you and i'll be posting soon. snifff snifff cough cough..........................LOL

Glad you like climbing its fun to have an exercise you look forward to doing,i feel that way about weights and when i do kick boxing such a rush, makes you feel like your actually doing something.

OH honey I hope this finds you feeling better..You need to rest and eat mild when your sick...listen and take care of yourself. Thanks for the kind words...believe me willpower is foriegn to me...but i hate being fat..so thats pushing me on more than anything

I love kick boxing too.. its very empowering..I imagine kicking someone im mad at in the face w/out being faced w/ assault charges :-D like my husband while he is holding the donuts.

I went climbing again today..it was great..got a really good endorphin rush... Im right before my period and im amazed at how little water retention i have...so psyched.

food for today
B: oatmeal w/ 1/2 wheat bagel

Snack: celery sticks w/ 1 Tbsp of PB , 1 ch stick

Lunch: leftover soup - bean, pasta, chic saus soup & 1 4oz yogurt

snack: had a piece of cake at a get together here at work, had a peanut granola bar right after to try to counteract the sugar.

Dinner: minestrone soup w/ lean saus, & lentils w/ 1 slice of rosemary Olive oil bread.

dessert... probably a pudding or somethin little

lol.you have it.lol made me laugh. sorry about your husband they can be dinks sometimes lol.but glad ppl are noticing a diffrence in you thats great :) your doing great :)
 
Ladies..if i didnt have my sense of humor many (not so innocent) people may not be alive today :-D either that or id be on a lovely form of psych meds!

Today im very low on my cal intake... gonna have to have a salad or some fruit or something

B: blueberry muffin, skim latte

S: 2 hardboiled eggs, 1 oz turkey breast, 1 cheese stick, 1/2 apple

L: 1 bowl of lentil veggie minestrone w/ 1 slice of rosemary bread

S: yogurt, 1/2 of a peanut granola bar

D: went to the 99 had their turkey BBQ tips and instead of the coleslaw and the fries I asked for the mashed califlower & the broccoli! hooray for me! I sat across from my friend who ate onion rings and I never had one! not ONE! this is huge for me!
I also had a nonsweetened ice tea
I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner and im feeling really proud and very comfortable w/ what i ate..instead of as usual wishing i hadnt done it.

exercise: 40 min walk -interval hills
20 resistant training, rowing w/ abs tonight.

I have to say im feeling really in control more than ever. I just wish the scale would freekin move!
 
hey way to go! will power girl you got it :D im so happy for you, your totally in control....im sure the scale will move in no time,your doing so good :D
 
Im so irritated..but im putting it into prospective..Im going to get a more high tech scale..mine isnt showing any change and I know im increasing my muscle..so im going to get one that reads everything. Im also going to start my period any second..so thats part of it...its just irritating

will do abs and weights later in the afternoon

Ahh K dont get down, sometimes when its t.t.o.t.m. we retain water might be whats happening to you, i wish i could find a good scale mine sucks if you find a good one let me know.have you tried measuring your self, its surprising the changes that can happen in a few weeks, you might not be going down in lbs but in inches and that would still be great. your doing good keep it up :) thanks for the post,im sure ill have a great time
 
I do need to do that L..cuz i swear the damn scale goes up 3 down and then back and just enough to make me nuts. I do need to measure myself...I think i will do that this weekend...thanks

Yes my scale likes to dance around a few pounds before it settles in..to me that is just water retention..blah blah blah...the scale only tells part of the story....your doing wonderfully!

L: lentil soup, 1 slice wheat br, cheese cubed 1 oz, 1 pkg of 100 cal oreo thins

S: 4 oz yogurt w/ handfull of all bran

D: gr turkey w/ swisschard & cranberries, roasted veggies w/ 1/2 a sw potato

I think I might have somethin like some fresh mango or somethin.

Lol my scales do that as well, what I do find surprising is the fluid we can retain from the morning to the night, and more when it’s that time of the month. Your foods looking good and I think your doing terrific.
 
Sunday... went out for a hike w/ my 8 yr old..he complained because i was blowing him away up the hill..and was tired and wanted to go home! Whoohoo! I tired out and 8 yr old! We went on this hr hike and had to traverse many a little river & large puddle ( we said it was survivor Meredith) ...and we got wet but we had fun.

Im going to do my weights and my abs as well

Food

1/2 blueberry bagel w/ 1tsp lite cr cheese
coffee w/ non fat creamer

S: oatmeal w/ all bran

L: egg beater omelet w/ spinach, swiss, mushrooms, 1 slice of wheat bread

S: 1 4 oz yogurt w/ all bran

D: remake of steak n cheese..got the recipe from the Calorie Commando... its a smoked turkey w/ sauteed onions, lite monteray jack on a hulled out sub roll...w/ fruit salad & probably some veggie

I went out to brunch today and turned down some very delicious choices and kept it under control..very proud.

dessert: 1 oz choc, peanuts

water 96 oz

exercise: 45 min climbing at rock gym


Today:

B: oatmeal w/ 1/2 banana
coffee w/ milk

S: protein shake & 1 plum

L: seafood salad w/ 1 oz cheese melted, veggies, on whole wh english, 1 4oz yogurt.

Walked 40 min today...will be walking again (hiking) w/ the kids after school if it doesnt rain...if it does..ill do taebo or somethin

I start tennis lessons tonight..cant wait.
ill be back :-D
