Thanks, Cate!! I'm sooo ready to have a better week!
I don't eat cheese but I'll try to some almonds or something next time I do think I'm overly sensitive to alcohol though, not the end of the world, but it just means I suffer immensely the next day every time I drink a bit.
Did my workout and working on my assignment, feeling much more positive again
I handed in the draft on Sunday and waiting for feedback. Thanks for asking, LaMa Been studying for my exam and my head is spinning.
ONE more workout left, I looked at some of the 'before' pictures I took at the end of March and I THINK there is a difference. At first it was a great feeling, but jeeeez it takes a long time to see any PROPER changes...my impatient side is getting the better off me tonight...so just had some peanut butter out of the jar because THAT is gonna help me...ARGHHHHH...
Another day tomorrow. Hopefully self-sabotage free.
Hey, actually seeing progress after only a month is pretty awesome, especially for a feee-male (feel free to add Ferengi leer). You can be really proud of yourself! But yeah, it gets frustrating sometimes.
Thanks LaMa. I tend to forget that I've only been (re)trying to really change things (for good!) since the very end of Feb. I'm naturally an impatient person though so keeping this diary has been incredibly helpful with that. If it wasn't for this space I would have gone back to my old ways a good few weeks ago. It puts things into perspective.
I've had an AMAAAAAZING evening. Me and my Kiwi friend cycled 10k to a 10k group run, did it together just having a chat, got given a cucumber as a prize and then cycled back
Woke up and realised it's Friday the 13th! EEEk hahah I'm not superstitious AT ALL , but I remember people freaking out about it when I was a kid and I guess it's stuck with me
Another day of studying ahead. It's looking pretty grim outside, I cannot wait to leave China so that I don't have to worry about pollution levels. Being here this past year and a half has REALLY made me appreciate the simple things, like parks without concrete, blue skies and being able to run outside WHENEVER. One more month left!!!!
Well The plan for the next six months is as follows:
Travel in Indonesia mid June to mid July (a gift for myself after doing all this coursework ), go home in July to see the family, go to Latin America in September and travel there (well, not the whole continent obviously ) for at least 4 months. I did Spanish at uni and desperately want to refresh my memory. If I end up liking it there I might stay longer, really not sure, open to all possibilities hehe.
It feels like I'm going to be starting a new life, and in one way I will, which is both exciting and scary.
As happy and excited I am about all this moving around I am REALLY hoping that I will be able to eat well as much as possible and do some form of exercise.
