Which day are we heading to ES? I'll book my ticket for the prior day. Is Kim still up for this? She hasn't been around in so long, I have no idea if she can still do it. :)

We'll be heading up on thursday, the 11th. Kim still doesn't know yet, but is hoping she will be able to take off for the trip. She starts her new job the first of June so we may not know until then or later. I'll shoot her an email to see if she's heard anything else about it.

Anytime the prior day is good for me.
 
I guess the new thyroid diet and supplements are working cuz I hit a new low today.

163.8!!

ONe pound down from my previous low. Woot!

Also, I spoke with the doc yesterday about my labs and I am starting the new treatment today and will be meeting with him next week to document symptoms.
 
I am so very happy to hear that Amy! Good news for your friends. Have a great weekend girl, I am off to visit my sister tomorrow but will be checking in from down there when I can.
 
I am holding at my new low. Yay! This is probably due to being home sick most of the week praying to the porcelain god. This bug was a bad one!

Last week's workouts consisted of weight training and chasing the baby, since Sean was gone. This week I haven't gotten any due to being sick so tonight I will be going to the gym for a nice, long workout. I plan to run for 45 minutes to an hour then follow with 40 minutes of weight training and then 20 minutes of yoga or pilates. I am hoping my tummy can handle it. Last night I was itching to go running but my tummy wasn't feeling so great so I decided to wait another day before jumping back into my workout regimen with both feet.

I have noticed that I look thinner in the mirror and my clothing is fitting different again. I really need to take measurements to see how much I have changed since losing these 10lbs. My tummy is flat but thicker than I'd like it to be and the same goes for my hips and thighs. I am pleased to say that I am toned and very muscular and don't look bad at this weight, but I'd still rather be back at my old weight of 130. Only 33lbs to go!! Although it has taken me SO DAMN LONG to lose weight and figure out this thyroid problem, I am still extremely pleased with what little weight I have lost. I started this forum in November 2006 and I weighed 180 and was completely out of shape from athe pregnancy. 17lbs and 30+ inches lost and a year and seven months later I am still going strong. Woot!!

I have to go to Vegas in december to Sean's big WIC graduation and another formal USAF Ball so I'd really like to be at my goal weight by then. That's what I'm shooting for now, 130lbs by December 1st. this gives me six months which comes out to about 5lbs lost per month. Gotta do this.

I know you can do that USAF ball goal if those meds keep working. The fact that you've lost 30" in this time means you've really toned up. I think you must've been replacing fat with muscle. :)

Thanks. I do think I've added a ton of muscle, I'd just like the damn number on the scale to drop now. I pretty happy with my muscle tone, although I do want to work on my shoulders a bit more, I just want to maintain it and drop the extra body fat.

I may post some this weekend depending on if TOM rears it's ugly head or not. I've been trying to work up the nerve to actually post some in my yoga pants and sports bra and just bare it all. We'll see. :D

I was looking into taking the train down there instead of flying--thought it might be kinda fun--and it's over $100 cheaper..lol. Only problem is the train rolls into LR at 3am! While that doesn't bother me a bit (you know what a night owl I am), I don't think I'd feel right asking you to drag your ass (and Bella's) out of bed in the middle of the night to pick me up...lol :biggrinjester:

oh yeah--bare it all baby! Just make sure to do it on TLD so I can properly appreciate it. :biggrinjester: Claudia will have to do the same if she posts bikini pics. :D
 
I am going to post pics when I hit 159 and am officially in the 150's. Today the scale said 163.4 so I am down almost half a pound since last week. Woot!!! :hurray: :reddevil:came last saturday so I have been avoiding scalentino all week due to all the bloating and water retention. I got in a 3-mile run last night but no other training. Tonight I will get in an hour of weight training and pilates.

I was at a jobsite most of the day and am exhausted. It was 93 degrees and I had to help with the overhead inspection so we walked around an non-air conditioned 6-story building with almost no ventilation. :eek2: I also had to wear my hardhat and that fucker is HOT! My ass is staying inside tonight for my workout. I don't think I could stand any more heat today.

It was much cooler today in the office. It looks like I am about to start spending much more time at the jobsite though, at the temps are only gonna keep going up. Bah!

On the plus side, the scale was down to 163.2 today so I am down .2lb. Not much but I'll take anything!!

11pm is a better time to pick you up. :) I am looking forward to it.

Right now I am helping with overhead inspections before they install the lay-in ceilings which is probably gonna take 5-6 weeks. This job is a 6-story Psychiatric Research Institute so it takes awhile. Plus, our CA field guy at the office has cancer and will no longer be working soon so I will be picking up his duties. I have been begging to do this for over a year and am super excited that I am now getting the chance, I just hate that the other CA guy's health is so bad, he's really a sweet man. I certainly don't want to gain these responsibilities at his expense. I was asking for them before he started at the firm 10 months ago but he's old buddies with the CEO and needed a job.

I hate to be chained to a desk all the time and getting out on the site and seeing firsthand what we are building intrigues the hell out of me. I can tolerate the heat.

I am ecstatic the weight is budging and am going to celebrate big time when I hit the 150's. :hurray::hurray::hurray: I've lost over a half pound since friday so I am hoping to see a whole pound gone by the end of the week, maybe more. I just finished 45 minutes of weights and pilates and am about to go to bed. Sean is flying tonight again so I didn't get to go running. I'll be sure to get 4-5 miles in tomorrow night.

Update on MLB: She is doing great and it still busting ass at the gym. She is just super busy right now with the new job and everything and will try to update everyone soon.
