Starting Over

Its fine about the cobbler Amy. I mean come on, who makes something like that and doesn't allow themselves at least a giant slab. But no making any more treats for poor deprived hubby for a while .

I found when I used to lose weight before my several months long plateau that the zig zag approach really worked. Allow yourself a high day sometimes, maybe once a week. Notice that you lost several pounds so something's working right. So glad your thyroid is functioning better! What a relief this weigh-in must've been :).

This weigh-in was a HUGE relief. After ten months of extreme exercise and dieting I was starting to wonder if it was ever going to come off. It's good to know that someone else has had as much trouble losing the baby weight also. Thank youfor the support. It REALLY makes me feel much better about this.

As for the cobbler, I have been forcing it on my husband so I don't have to look at it in the fridge. It was soooo good. I put a pre-pregnancy skinny pic of me on the fridge so I have to look at it every time I go into the kitchen!

nice loss there missy :0 you will be in that ball gown, taking pictures of all sorts of good looking men in uniform for me before you know it :D

I'm trying to picture you being sneaky and taking a pic of a guy's behind while you run after him. hahaaa! Now if he's a really fast runner, then you've got some major HIIT on your hands, little lady. hahaa! Hey, Amy.. thanks a lot for dropping into my journal and leaving such a great post. :) You'll definitely be seeing more of me in your diary.. woot! :D

Well that sure is nice to hear! Where are you at right now?

172. I was 135lb and incredibly fit before the pregnancy but sit on my butt for nine months due to constant vomiting and got up to 200lbs. So now I am busting my butt to get back down to my old size.

Too funny :rotflmao:! Do they actually sell those moving bushes so you can be incognito while photographing the guy for us?

It really is a struggle to get the baby weight off . I've now taken all the baby weight off and I'm working on the 10 pounds I had gained before my pregnancy. I'm just worried my body has settled on this chubbyish weight and wont go back down.

I'm looking forward to hearing about your progress now making leaps and bounds. You'll be in the 160's very shortly!

I fantasize every day about stepping on the scale and seeing the arrow go down to the 160's!

Never in my life would I have ever thought baby weight would be so damn hard to get rid of. I have six girlfriends who all had babies around the same time I did and they all looked great two months later. Not fair. I asked one what she was doing and she gets on the elliptical 30 minutes a day. That's all! I call them all "skinny bitches", as a joke.

I think you'll lose those extra 10lbs by Christmas. You are doing such a good job on your diet and exercise, it is bound to come off.

Cym's diary somewhere she makes a comment that any woman who loses weight, from 18 - 81, has a right to dress like a hoochie for a period of time following the weight loss :)

I said elsewhere more than a year ago, I had every intention of skanking it up when i hit my goal - i'm still gonna :)

let's hear it for slutting it up!! you've eearned the right``
