I discovered biggest loser on tv last nite, so after reading your post a few pages back i completely agree with you! Neil is horrible!
do you still work? Aside from working at 2 restaurants, I'm a part-time nanny for a 2 year old and his mommy just had another baby, so I'll be running around with those 2 on Friday for a few hours :p :rotflmao: I hope it's not raining though... that's Vancouver for you :p but it's supposed to be sunny for the rest of the week. how's Texas right now?

I'm a SAHM at this time.. I work my tail off, but no paycheck..lol

Cory will be in high school next year so I have time to figure things out..I for sure want to do something!

I have waited bc I felt it was so important to be home with him while he was growing up. I've been so blessed to be able to do that..I know so many mom's/dad's want to do that, but they just can't..

We have also went w/o a lot of material type things so I could stay home..

We have never lived in a house/own a home {always apts/townhomes - rent}

We have never had a family vacation - we have never traveled -etc..

Kinda stinks but we just can't afford it.

Hope that changes once I figure out what I want to do!

TX is BEAUTIFUL!! Man, I love the heck out of Fall/Winter here!

Actually, I was gonna send in a tape!

BUT, I found out bc of reading fine print, YOU have to pay your own way to NY for up to 3 possible qualification{sp?} rounds..{This also means yer own cab fair - hotel - etc..}

We do not have that kinda money!!

It really sucks!! I'd at least like the dern chance! :mad:

The only way they pay for everything after that is once yer picked and will be on show.


That totally sucks!! If I had $$, I'd give it to ya so you could go and audition. I really think you'd do well! They should let people audition by video and then pick some to fly to NY to do in person auditions. Isn't fair to us poorer peeps, is it?:mad:

B- 1 pkg. weight control oatmeal - Usual coffee

S- 1 serv. SF/Jello Choc. puddin'

L- 1 C. leftover {ww}spaghetti w/1 ladel meatsauce - 1 oz. melted cch {that will now stand for cheddar cheese since I eat so damn much of it! lol}

Only 24 oz. water today.. :rolleyes: The rest of liquids has been tea/coffee..

D- 2 egg beaters scram. with yes, 1 oz. melted cch - 1 slice ww-mg bread{toasted} with ICBINB spray - 1 c. 1% milk -
1/2 C. all natural granola cereal w/1% milk

Total Cals: 1,480

A Change Is Needed!

*Please Note*

Ok, after talkin' to Sheryl today, I have decided to follow her great idea w/diet ticker..:rotflmao:

:rolleyes: We all know how I've been hyperventilating with the cals/weight loss...lol

I'm now gonna track 5 lbs. at a time..

This will help me so much in spirit and emotionally.. :)

41 lbs. is a lot to lose and it's not gonna come off easy/quickly..

I will post my weight more often {this will also help me see what may be slowing me down/helping}, and I'll change ticker when there is a loss.

I will still do my original Weigh In Day on Tues. and check measurements then as well.

Important Notes:

I started at 187 lbs. my all time high.. {Size 18}

I'm now 176.6 lbs.

My 14's are now a little bit loose! They no longer cut me in half.

My goal is to reach 135 - 140 lbs. where I have been before which will put me in a size 9/10 where I'm happy/healthy..

Because of my age and stuff, if that is just not gonna happen, I'll settle w/reaching 145 -150 lbs.. {We'll just have ta wait 'n see what happens when I get there.}

The key is for me to have results, be happy, and healthy.

I'm ready to lose and maintain!

Enough of this yoyo crap!

I thought I noticed a change in the ticker when I read your msg in my diary. Good idea, darlin! It's also good to see that it's made you extra-motivated. we can never have enough motivation :hug2:

Hi Stacy,

If you are going to weigh yourself more often - do as I do and weigh yourself every day and post in the weigh yourself every day club. Seeing a week or two's weighings like that helps me focus that the trend is heading in the right direction (which is so important for keeping motivated over the long term). It also is a brilliant early warning for plateaus.

There is no need to hyperventilate over your calories - you are being good with your food. And with your work-out and pilates you are being good with your exercise too. Our sister-in-law (who is slim) swears by pilates.

As far as you having not worked and looked after your son - I think that you have made a wise choice. You were fortunate in that it was an option - but you made it happen too. You have had the pleasure of being in his company as he grew up and you have been certain that he was well taken care of. You have given him your time - which is more valuable than any amount of material things. You have been able to introduce your values to him which will probably make him a more rounded person. There will be time in the future for you to develop a career - if you decide that you want to do that.

Be proud of your many accomplishments.

Personally speaking... screw weighing yourself everyday. Your weight fluctuates constantly and for me, I can't stand that mindf*ck. I want to see consistency and also, I like seeing what a week's worth of busting my ass off has achieved. 1lb... 2lbs... hey, as long as I don't gain, I'm happier than a pig in shat.

Stacy, screw age.... you're still a youngin and you'll get to that goal weight of yours. Hell, being that you're also weight training, you might even look smaller this time around, but weigh a few pounds heavier.. (due to muscular density and whatnot) Also, if the change in ticker works for you, then awesome. I hated having to move my ticker a few notches and saying to myself, "Alright Sheryl... just 50 more pounds to go." I'm all about conquering mini goals left and right then rewarding myself after each and every one. (ie: getting pedicures... a massage... buying ho heels.. etc) Congrats with the weight loss so far!

Not gonna do any today as it turns out..Son has been in/out of living room too much..

Once hubby is up/off ta work, I'll go in my bedroom/shut the door and do pilates... lol

I'll have ta make sure and get DA work-outs done while son is in school!

Wow, you're diary is hoppin'! I am going to go to Wally World today if it kills me. See if I can find the DA dance video. I'm also putting in an app for a part-time job, just to get a little extra cash for some home remodeling projects we've been wanting to get done for a long time!

I really love pilates and it has worked before to make me lean..
It's crazy how you really do feel taller and you become more sculpted like they claim.. Please note I didn't say, Makes you taller..lol You feel taller.. ;) It's really good for my RA as well.

ALRIGHT!!! lost pounds, we like that around here!! Great job girlie!! :jump: I like the idea of a 5lb ticker, that sure makes it a little easier to wrap your head around, since you don't have to go really far to reach that goal. GREAT IDEA!! It's another sunny day in OK, which hopefully means it's another sunny day in TX. Will you be able to walk today?? I hope so.
