MMMM Turkey sloppy joe's I never thought of that, GREAT IDEA!! ***note to self, make turkey sloppy joes soon**** Hey, I wanted to see the Reaping, when you see it, let me know what you thought of it, it looks really good on the previews, but we all know sometimes they only show the small bits of good parts on those things. It's gorgeous out here today, and I hope it is in your neck of the woods as well. HUGS

Hi ya everyone... :)

As you can see by my ticker, I'm up 2 lbs.. :eek:

Last Week: 174.5 Today: 176.6

The only way I'll be happy by next weigh in is to see 4 lbs. off..The 2 I gained; 2 new ones..{Like that's gonna happen! lol}

Oh well...It's my own fault...

- I have to eat right

- I have to kick-up exercise

- I have to have control

In the fall/winter I also drink a lot of hot tea..Mostly herbal..
I LOVE Bigelow teas.. My fav is vanilla caramel!
I use a tad bit of splenda and sometimes cream.

Turkey Sloppy Jo's: They are good...We do like them better w/extra lean beef though! I take turns.. One time we have them with beef, the next w/turkey.. I'm trying to help us get used to ground turkey and ground chicken so we don't have as much beef.. ;)

My next mini goal is to learn how to cook fish!

Weather: It's 61* with a cool breeze.. The high will only be 65* It will be a beautiful day! {The sun is finally out!}

I'm sure Val... Dinner was very legal/healthy..

I used all low cal ingred. except for 1 tbs. brown sugar that goes in homemade sauce mix - I used MG-WW Bun - The side was cauliflower mixed up with FF Sour Cream - turkey bacon {low sodium} - cheddar cheese - etc..

Tom should arrive next week..

I think subway and the pizza is what did it!!
 
Well, when you figure out how to cook fish, and everybody eats it, PLEASE let me know, because if I cook anything OTHER than Shell fish in my house, people RUN for the hills, I'm not kidding. My sons LOVE shrimp, so I make that a lot, but fresh water fish, UMMMMM In their minds that's only for sitting on a dock and casting a line, then throwing back, NOT FOR EATING. LOL LOL I'm not a beef eater myself, my sons and hubby love it, but GAG ME!! I will eat hamburger, but that's about it. I LOVE chicken, turkey and some ham. I'm glad you told me about the Reaping, I'll PASS! I do want to see that John Cusack movie, I think it's called Room 1402 or something like that, now that LOOKS GOOD!! Did you ever see In the Garden of Good & Evil, with John Cusack? Now that was good!!! I just love him, can you tell? lol lol

Oh you lucky lady!! Oh please let me know what you think of 1408, that looked really good!! My H brings home DVD's all week long, as this employee of his, I guess is in a club and she gives him the ones she has seen to bring home and share, it's really sweet of her. He brought home 5 last Friday, Some were gross, so I didn't watch them, but the boys enjoyed them of course. I watched transformers, that was pretty cool. I think Knocked up was another one, but I passed on it too. I have a lot of stuff saved on DVR that needs to be watched, I'm having a hard time keeping up on my weekly shows. I love that new show called LIFE, it's good!!! and of course there is CSI Vegas, NCIS, Criminal Minds, Heroes, Grey's, Saving Grace, State of Mind and the list goes on, I can't believe how many good ones are out there right now, it's insane, and shoot I have only 5 hours at most of tv time a week to watch them, it makes it very difficult.

I do love CSI - Without A Trace - Back To You - Till Death {that show cracks me up!!} - Everything else is reality related.. :doh:

Hey sounds like you had a good day today! Minus the 2 pound weight gain, which may or may not suprise you next week with a big drop if you can stick to your schedule of eating and exercising.
We're big movie watchers around here to. So much in fact that there is never anything for us to rent because we have already seen 'em!
When we were dating every date was a dinner and a movie date. I just love sitting back and losing yourself in a good movie!

Hey Sweetpea!! How's it going this morning!! I hope your day is a good one, as it seems we are having some gorgeous blue skies here! Don't get me wrong, it's FRIGID as all get out, but it's still pretty when your looking out the window. Did you get much excericise in yesterday?? If I had to walk outside, there is NO WAY I could have done it, it was sooooo cold, and windy to, that makes for a bad walk day for this girl. Maybe this spring when I head down that direction I can fix us both up for a good day spa, wouldnt that be great!! It will be my treat! Where are you located again? I'm not fimiliar with your town. I was in Texas back in June, my dad lives near Grapevine Mills, and then my sons girlfriend was in Fort Worth, it was a good time, even though it was a fast trip. I hope you have a great day today, I'll check in on you later gator!

Hey honey, don't worry about those 2lbs. My weight goes up and down 2lbs in a day. It could just be water retention. Also, how long have you been eating below 1500 cals a day? Because your body could be adjusting to the low calories--meaning you need to start eating at maintainance for a few days to get your metabolism on track. I'd weight yourself tomorrow and see if there's any change for the better.

I agree with Bikinibound about weighing yourself again tomorrow. I really couldnt hang on a week before seeing how things were going.

I was just telling you how I can be saintly but the weight wiggles up by a couple of pounds every so often. Now it has happened to you. I dont see it being the pizza - I am sure that did not make any kind of surplus when you consider everything.

I have had unexplained gain with cheese before. I ended up axing cheese from my diet because I got sick of going up every time I ate cheese.

Generally - as long as you remain focused and continue the exercise and being good with your food - the added pounds come off really quickly. Dont let it trip you up.

Margaret's right. You would've had to have consumed 7000 surplus calories in order to gain 2lbs. One day at 1700 calories isn't enough to make you gain 2 pounds of fat. It has to be water retention or glycogen fluctuations.

If the weight is still there tomorrow, I'd start eating at maintainance for a few days, b/c your low-cal eating has probably slowed down your metabolism. I know this from experience--unfortunately..lol.

You have to remember that you have already started. You have made a significant improvement already. Your weight is less.

When my weight goes up I find my spreadsheet invaluable. It helps me decide (like with cheese for me) what to change. I dont know whether I have mentioned it before. With your OCD you probably already have one - if not then you may want to start one. Each day I add a new line to my spreadsheet with everything that is weight relevant that I can put into columns. The things that I track currently are:
day, date, weight, steps, miles, weight watcher points earned on the pedometer (may be useful sometime)!, long walk route, main meal, how many of what exercises, classes attended, whether I ate any of certain foodtypes - currently chocolate, butter, (full fat) fried, jars / tins of sauce, cheese, also I monitor toilet habits and period info.

If I think of something else a new column goes on the spreadsheet.

I know that I go into more detail than most people would. I once knew someone who was diagnosed with OCD and then claimed that they had learnt their obsessiveness from me!!!!!

{1408 was very creepy/lots of drama..We think it's worth watching. - Won't buy it though.}

- 27 mins. pilates {repeated the 100 and leg exercises a 2nd time}
- 30 crunches

Food:

B- SB Choc. Protein Bar - Usual Coffee - 1 c. SF/Tang

L- All natural raisin/date/almond Granola Cereal 1/2 C. w/1% milk

S- 1 serving SF Jello Puddin'

32 oz. water completed

D- My lean mean spaghetti {homemade sauce!} Used WW Pasta - Lean Ground Beef - WW Rolls toasted w/my homemade garlic butter. 1 c. romaine salad w/2 tbs. french dressing - Diet DP

{1 1/2 C. spaghetti w/1 ladel of sauce - sprinkled 1 oz. of cheddar on top to melt - 2 rolls {should have had 1} :rolleyes:

Total Cals: 1,750

My face has went nuts! Looks like tom will be a week early. :rolleyes:

This may have something to do w/gain as well.. My cycles are just terrible!

Dr. says it's bc of havin' tubes tied/burned so young.

Don't know if that's correct or not? Also said that genes play a roll..

My mom always had a horrible time as well...

The day before and 2 days after I start, I'm 100% drained w/no energy.
I don't feel well and I cramp like crazy...I'm also very heavy..

No walking yet..I cannot find my sweat-shirt hoodie..? We moved from townhome in this complex to a large flat apt on 7-7-7 {cool huh?..lol} -

I'm thinking I lost a box, or it may have been placed by accident in the GoodWill Box..

I'll have to go shopping tomorrow for new one..Cory needs stuff anyway!

I'm scared I'll get sick if I go out with this cool breeze/chilly breeze without protection...lol

Mesquite is only 20-25 mins. from Dallas.. We live 10 mins. from the Mesquite Rodeo.. Hope that helps! Ft. Worth is almost an hour from us.. ;)
