For exercise I do:

I have a great pedometer- {sportline walking advantage - $19.99 at academy sports and outdoors}
It lists step count - dist/ml - cals burned - time - etc..

I do a lot of walking. {There is a Pedometers Buddies thread in Challenge section here.}

I also do cardio w/and w/o 3 lb. weights.. I mix it up.. Some cardio is done to upbeat music and I use moves I've learned from t.v. or via books..
I also LOVE my Denise Austin Dance-Mix DVD..{I'm a big fan of dancing w/the stars.}

I also do winsor pilates w/Mari..

I have to have a lot of options so I don't get bored! {which is easy to do}

You have a goal reachin' day ya hear?! ;)
 
Hello!! I tried to read through most of your diary, it seems we both have a little something in common. I was a little bitty thing all the way up to my pregnancy as well, then BOOM, I put on 60 pounds with my twins and well my body has never been the same. I think the highest size I got up to was probably 14, but I also lost a ton of weight in between once due to stress and my divorce, not a good way to lose weight that's for sure! But, now I've been plugging at the exercise and lifestyle change for the past 6 months and it's working, it's just soooooo slow now that I'm up there in age. HAHAHHA, I saw your before pics and now, you look so good!! I can't imagine you down to 140 you'll be almost widdled away to nothing by then. :rotflmao::jump: But, you know where you want to be and what makes you feel good, so I wish you the best of luck on getting to your goal weight, I think your doing so good right now!! Keep it up!

D- 1 square/serving of my Turkey Bacon 'N Cheddar Quiche - 2 mini blueberry muffins - 1 c. SF/Tang - 1 c. 1% milk

workin' on more water..

I just opened a can of diet pepsi as well..

Weigh In is tomorrow...

I'll do pilates in just a bit..
 
Weigh In Day

I'm now 175.3 :)

Which means I've lost 2 lbs! :cool:

I'll check inches next weigh in...I do them every other week..

My Mini Goal for next weigh in is to lose 2 more lbs.
Also, I need to get more water down than just 32 - 40 oz. so I'll try and tackle that to..

My allergies are drivin' me freakin' crazy today!! :mad:

Woke up sneezing and with itchy eyes.. I guess the ragweed count is high today.:rolleyes: I'm havin' ta blow my nose a lot to.

Hope it clears up quick bc it's such a beautiful day here.. I'm lookin' forward to my walk. Today I will take a pic of the beautiful park/pond so you guys can see where I walk.. ;)

Afternoon friend!! WOW your kicking BUTT!! Good for you!! I know your proud of yourself, I would be, 2lbs is a lot of weight. I'm sorry about your allergies, I know about 5 people here including my puppy that are suffering pretty bad also, I feel for you guys I really do!! Hey Hickgurl, just popping in to say hi :). I have the same reality TV fixation, can't get enough of the stuff. And dont tell me you watch One Life to Live also?! I watched that show, no exaggeration, everyday for 20 years (I taped and then TIVO). After I had my baby I sort of lost the time to watch it though, so my 20 year habit is now over. Janelle was awesome, wonder what happened to her?

Haven't watched soaps since my son stopped napping, he's now going on 14...LOL :rotflmao: About 3 1/2 years old he had enough of that..Of course that meant no spare time for me any longer!

Named journal that for 2 reasons:

1} I only have one life to live..

2} My life is an on going soap opera! {I hope things change, but at this time everything has been going wrong, family members fighting, been to 2 funerals, my parents want a divorce but are poor so they are stuck w/each other..That kinda garbage! Soap Opera Central!} :D

I need to google Janelle and see what's up! lol
 
Hi Stacy!

I have severe hayfever in spring time--I HATE allergies, they make me miserable and I've tried everything from allergy shots to diet and nothing works...two things I'm thankful for:
I'm not allergic to any medicines
Not allergic to my fluffy cat OR flea bites (either fleas don't bite me or I just don't get irritated--good because fleas rule my house)
Hope that ragweed goes away!
2 pounds! You dancing in yoiur underwear yet? :D

It was so hard to get away with it bein' hubby's last night off..

I was pretty busy as well.

I should have made time though..

I'm pretty mad at myself! :mad:
 
Hey, don't be mad--today is your rest day. Just push yourself to work out the other days of the week, or most of em! You can do it, no problemo! I bet you can manage an even faster walk! Just go for it, woman! :jump:

Hey there concider today a rest day with the exersices and maybe add 5- 10 minutes 1 day this week to make ya feel better,your menue looks great!I usually have to work in my exersices around hubby's crazy work scheduel and my kids sports schedule and when worse comes to worse I do the ole stationary bike or go dance for a while.

Your ticker is moving along at a good clip. Way to go! I have a feeling we'll be celebrating you hitting your goal in just a few weeks!

Sorry I havent popped into your diary for a couple of days. It has been a mad couple of days here.

It looks like your diet is really paying off. Congratulations on losing yet another two pounds. You are doing really well. I am really pleased for you.

I hope that the problems with your allergies have eased.
