OMG! Click on his blog now..They took pics of his room!!! TOO CUTE!

MaeMae and I were on the phone together when she looked through the pics the first time. (the new ones)

The new pic of Jaxon has already been printed!!!!!!!!

I knew the room pics would help her feel a little better..
She knows he is getting all of his needs met 150%

I'm soooooo pooped!

Tomorrow will be a long day bc after work I have to make the LONG trip to get my check, go to the bank, and then finally home.
I get off at 3PM but won't make it home until after 5PM bc of the dern traffic.

I wish this agency would GET-WITH-IT and do direct deposit for pete-sakes!

Thursday will be a hard day as well, but I get off a little bit early..
It will be the first day I do Ms. Mary's bath myself.
Her sister and her brothers wife have been helping me the past 2 times.

I'm kinda pissed off bc it TAKES 3 people and now they are just putting it off on me! :rolleyes:

It takes 3 bc Ms. Mary acts like a child..(bless her heart)
She is SOOOOOO COLD and wiggles around and causes it to take longer.
The heater is going full blast + an electric heater is going.
I want to run around nakie it's so dern HOT! LMBO! :biggrinjester:
I sweat like a PIG! :piggy:

It's also helpful to have 3 bc it KILLS yer back bending in the shower stall..(Ms. Mary sits on a shower chair.)
One will do the hair and the next person will do the front..the next the back..
We all 3 get her in several towels and then start putting lotion all over her and then her clothes.

I can't believe they are going to make me do this alone.
PLUS, I have to TRY and be in a hurry bc her doc app. is Thursday..I have to have her ready on time! (why I get to leave early.)

I better get to bed..

I'm glad Mae Mae is feeling a bit better. How does this open adoption thing work? Will she ever get to spend any time with him (or maybe that would be too hard on her anyway)? Do they plan on telling Jax about her etc?

Open Adoption is different 4 each birth mother/adoptive parents.

Chrisy's:

Jenna & Jose have agreed to do the blog spot and update by contract every Sunday. They can do more if they wish of course. :)

They will keep pics of Jaxon current as well as notes re: how he's growing, doc apps, what's new, etc.

Chrisy will see Jaxon in May if she is ready.

The family is thinking about adding a Family Reunion type thing for all of us 1 x a year. (that will be fantastic!)

Jenna gave Chrisy her e-mail addy and let her know she can talk to her about anything. They want MaeMae to stay involved.
They have mentioned several times how they understand that Chrisy would have raised Jaxon if the father would have been a man instead of a mouse and helped provide.
They know Chrisy could not raise him 100% over money.
(adoption agents cannot stand that bein' the reason for adoption bc the mother's are always attached and it's very difficult.)

Jenna & Jose took tons of pics with Chrisy and Jaxon together bc they will tell him when it's time and he's old enough to understand.
There are pics of MaeMae holding Jaxon in his room now. :)


They are great people and I don't think there will ever be any issues over the contract and what they have agreed to.
They truly have the best for Jaxon at heart and also our family I feel.

:) Hey Dear Friends,

Friday night was another 'sobbing event' for me..

I checked Jaxon's site and the new pic of him in the play-seat just got me..

He is already changing so much and knowing he is able to be more alert with those beautiful/big eyes open just got me.



I can't help but have selfish/jealous emotions right now.
Resentment is starting to set in as well and I'm dealing with that..(trying to get rid of it.)

I'm trying SO HARD to keep in mind how thrilled Jose, Jenna, and Jordon are.
Plus the fact that Jaxon is havin' his needs met.

I'm a C-Mas NUT and sadly I can't wait for it to come/go..
I just want it to be over.
I'm just not in the spirit and wish I could sleep through it.

Due to money, I have not been able to start the scrap-booking yet and that is driving me crazy bc I know it will help me gain closure. {sp?}

Chrisy is feeling a little better. (we did cry together on the phone though yesterday.) We talked for 2 1/2 hours even though we saw each other Thursday & Friday..LOL..

That is how her name is spelled..lol.. My dad is not much of a speller and when she was born he was the one that talked to the nurse re: birth cert. and gave that spelling..LMBO! :rolleyes:
My mom was sooooooo PO'd! hahahahaha!

RE: Work

Ms. Mary & I have a solid routine now.
We are used to each other and things are going well.
My hours changed for the better and I'm so GLAD bc since I work SO HARD, I now will have 3-day-weekends starting this week!! :hurray:

11AM - 4PM Mon-Thursday
I get the same pay bc of the extra hour added for M-T!
That's GR8!

I work my tail off I tell ya! I'm a CareGiver, Maid, and Waitress..lol..
Since Light Housekeeping is part of the plan of care, that is why I said 'maid.' It isn't light by no means bc her house is huge!

Mentioned 'waitress' since I do all 3 meals for her and then run back 'n forth with extra stuff..(snacks/drinks)

I do her grocery shopping on Wed. and her bath on Thurs.

I'm soooooooooooooo under-paid! (bring home $640 w/o taxes a "month")
I have to do what I have ta do though.

Friday Mary's sister and hubby came by to pay all of her bills.
There is a long counter in the kitchen where I always set my bag and diet soda. (pepsi in a navy blue can.)
(The huge kitchen is open and you can see into the den where Ms. Mary always is.)
"I placed my soda in the fridge so it wouldn't get warm."

I was in the middle of vacuuming the back of the house when they arrived.
I was hot and sweaty and came running through the kitchen and stopped to grab the drink on the counter and took a big/long glug and it was James BEER!! HAHAHAHA!

His eyes were as big as saucers and he busted out laughing sayin',

"Sharon, Stacy's drinkin' my damn beer!" :rofl:

She lost it... Ms. Mary almost fell out of the recliner bc she was laughin' so hard!

I was so embarrassed but laughed my tail off to.

James then said, "Well, was it good?"

I ran to the fridge and showed him my soda and told him it's usually sitting where his beer can was.

Many jokes followed while they were there..lol..
(drinking on the job - to drunk to drive - and so on..)
Ms. Mary even got in on it later and asked if I was sober enough to help her to the bathroom..LMBO!

Dave and Cory laughed their tails off when I told them once I was home.

The only exercise I have been getting is with work..

That's NOT enough and it's not going to get this weight off! :leaving:

I hope I can get a new groove with work and my needs.

The issues are that I cannot eat right bc I'm in such a rush in the morning I miss breakfast and once at Mary's I'm so busy all I can get down is a slimfast drink and meal bar.

I over-eat at dinner.
Too tired to exercise and my feet are always hurting.

Any ideas guys?
I need MAJOR help to make changes! :ack2:

Whelp, I better get off here and get to the store. We are out of everything!!
I need to try and get some cleaning/laundry accomplished as well since tomorrow is 'back to work.'

This is heart-wrenching, Stacy! :cry: I'm torn on how to feel about this--ALL the nurses were crying?!? Oh, what a day :( I AM glad she has this great outlook, and in all honesty, I don't think your parents hating each other and fighting is a healty environment for ANYONE, let alone a new baby....

It's totally understandable, Stacy--isn't it hard to say what's better, open adoption (risking jealousy) or closed (not knowing)?? That's a tough one....

Try to get to sleep earlier and wake up with enough time to nourish yourself. Snack on almonds throughout the day (lots of protein and fatty acids and supposedly aids in fat loss) and take time in the evenings to stretch and massage your feet--soak them in hot water with a flower oil and practice deep breathing. Overeating at dinner? Can't help ya with that! ;) Nah, just make sure to fill up on veggies and salad and don't buy or eat bread maybe.....

Just popped in to thank you for the Christmas card.

I am sorry to hear that the birth has involved so much trauma for you and your whole family. Keeping in mind Mae-Mae's medical history I am pleased to see that there appear to have been less medical complications added into the mix than I feared.

She will certainly benefit from your support at this difficult time.

I know that the adoptive parents will take special care of him. They will have gone through a lot to have got to this stage.

I think that your idea of putting aside cards etc for him is excellent. It can only help bond you all in the fullness of time. He will be able to see that although he was gone - he was certainly not forgotten by you all.

Well, your Steelers didn't get yesterdays game... but at least they are guaranteed a playoff spot. (watcha doin in Texas rooting for a Pittsburg team?) My Pats are still hoping for a wild card...

Other than that... I hope your holiday season is going beautifully! Try not to stress too much and try to relax a bit. I know its always a little nuts, especially in a lean year, but it sounds like you have lots of luv in your little world htere and thats what makes it work, hun. Those who give it, generally receive it...

Yes, I live in Dallas Cowboy Land, but since a toddler I have loved/rooted for the Steeler team! LOL :biggrinjester:

My dad would actually make my mother get me out of the house when the Steeler's would play the Cowboy's..HAHAHAHA! :D
....Or even other teams....My dad and PawPaw always told me that I would predict wins and sometimes scores and would be close or 100% correct..
Wish I could do that now, as I would get a bookie and bet! *snorts!*

I love the taunting as well, especially in public when I'm head-to-toe in STEELER gear while everyone around me is in Cowgirl stuff.

Sooo sorry that I haven't been able to get over here to check up on you.
Thanks for the card. I actually recieved it a while back but have been soooo busy that I rarely got on here. Not even to update myself let alone to visit with everyone. Hubby thought it was cute that I was getting cards from people that I have never even physically met.
Glad to hear that you and Miss Mary are getting along so well. I think that it would be wonderful to work with an older individual. I love all the history that they have.
Hope you have a GREAT MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!
