Better a Steelers fan than a Pats fan. :D

I'l take that coming from a Lion's fan only because, well, it's kinda like sour grapes... Even with our back up QB we could make it into the playoffs...

Can anyone say, coaching?

Sorry hun but Detroit needs the equivalent of an organizational high colonic to fix their problems...

Sorry Stacy for the hijack... BTW I DO respect the Steelers...

Stacy (looking around) Staaaaacy, woohoo?
Haven't seen ya in about a week. Where ya at girl?
Hope your holidays were wonderful and full of love.
Mwah!
Hurry back I miss ya!

Catching Up

:seeya: Hi ya dear friends. :grouphug:
Thanks for all of your Holiday Wishes!

SHERYL!! I almost fell out of the dad-gum chair! HI YA DOLL FACE! ;)

It has been crazy busy for me since C-Mas!
It was a busy holiday and it also had its ups/downs bc Jaxon of course was 25 days old on the 25th of Dec. and it was his 1st C-Mas.
Yesterday he turned 1 month old.

At C-Mas it was a busy time to visit loved ones and friends.
My sweet lil Jordon (Chrisy and Bubba's good friend since they were little kids) was home for the holiday's for a brief visit before heading to Afghanistan. (He's there now and will be doing the 'sweeping' of buildings. Very dangerous. :(

Cory had a GREAT C-Mas..(Thank Goodness I started working when I did!)
Dave and I were not able to exchange gifts or do for our family members which stunk and felt strange!! :leaving: It was the first C-Mas we were not able to do anything for others.
Thank goodness 'I was able' to tithe a few weeks before C-Mas to a worthy cause.

Then, it was back to work with Ms. Mary and my gosh the family really ticked me OFF! :cuss: I walked into a MESS! I'm pretty sure most of them think of me as a MAID! I had such a hard week that once I was home and showered - then fixed dinner, I was ready for bed! I went to bed one night at 8PM!
I haven't done that since Elementary School! :D HAHAHAHA!

I had to catch up around here to and that leads up to grocery store day yesterday and getting ready for today which is Cory's 15th B-Day Celebration!
(His b-day is on Jan. 5th/Monday, but he goes back to school; bless his heart..lol)

I'll drop him off at the mall at 3PM and he'll have a group of friends waiting for him PLUS A GF!!! *faints* (I'm not ready for that mess! lol)

That lil stinker has $120 to spend plus the $25 I gave him for eating..(That'll cover him, his best friend Christian, and his GF at the Food Court..)
He got a $50 Visa Gift Card from us at C-Mas, $10 from good ole Nannie (lol), and won $60 off scratch off tickets from Dave's family!!
(Dave won $40 and I won $35) :D

Once I pick up Cory, Christian will come home with us and spend the night.
Cory's B-Day gift is a NEW ROOM.
The 1st part is done.. He has an awesome futon and we rearranged everything and CLEANED his room good...lmbo!
So far it's looking more like a lil batchlor pad..heehee...
Part 2 will have ta wait till my next check..He'll get new bedding and we'll get bedding for the futon. I also get things like a cool lamp and some shelving.
He of course wants to put up posters and stuff.
Busy - Busy - Busy!

It never slows down or gets back to normal until after the 5th of Jan for us..lol... I wish Cory would have been a spring or summer baby..

Weight-Loss has been on hold...

The new BL starts Jan. 6th Tues. and I really want to get with it and use the show as motivation and as a tool.
I'll weigh-in every Tues. and do my best!
I hope to have awesome results by the finale in March!
I feel like an old cow! :ack2:
My weight is really bothering me more than ever..
It's sad when you 'can't wear your Fat Jeans' any longer bc they are too tight!

I bought 2 cute jumpers/warmers/jogging suits(whatever you want to call them) on sale and that's what I'm stuck in until I get this weight off!
(They are a 2X)
I'm even busting out of my scrubs now and they are no longer comfy.

It's really hard to get in gear when most grocery visits are so tight you have to buy crap in order to make the buck go as far as possible, and I'm so dern tired after work (bc of bein' so fat and out of shape) I have no energy to exercise.
My feet and ankles are always hurting and swollen after work as well.

I'm scared to death to weigh-in on Tuesday!!!!! *Yikes* lol

Well, that's all the updates I have..

I'll get to your diaries tonight once home with the boys..

:waving:

<3 Stacy

Talk about timing... I just posted that...

Holiday craziness, isn't it great?

Don't fear the scale... we prolly all did the same thing hun... Watcha gonna do? Move on and move ahead...

:hug2: have a good day hun!

Woman you have a lot going on as usual. I can't blame you for not having time to get in better shape. Maybe now that the holidays and C's birthday is over you'll have just a tad more time to focus on yourself. Keep us posted on how you're getting along on your plan. Keep the strength :).

Thanks Karl and Cita. :hug2:

:)

Whelp, I didn't get to diaries tonight bc I was lil Ms. Waitress for the boys all night..LMBO!

They didn't stay at the mall long bc the AC was out and they were so hot and couldn't really enjoy themselves.
I HATE Texas! :ack2: Jan. 2nd and it was 78* today.
We'll reach 83* tomorrow. :rolleyes:

Cory was able to spend his money though! He has pocket change left..heehee..

They just went to bed!

Hubby and I are now off ta bed..lol..

I'll fix the boys a big breakfast tomorrow and then try to finally catch up with you all in your diaries! :)

**Hugs & lots of Love**

- Stacy

That Corey boy is one lucky duck having you for a mom! Driving him everywhere, cooking for him and his buddies. Your 1st Class!!!
Just for the record I would love 78* right now! LOL Currently it is like 31* here. Brrrrr
Talk to you later.

I'l take that coming from a Lion's fan only because, well, it's kinda like sour grapes... Even with our back up QB we could make it into the playoffs...

Can anyone say, coaching?

Sorry hun but Detroit needs the equivalent of an organizational high colonic to fix their problems...

You think I don't know the Lions stink?? I'd have to be living in a cave not to know that! I rooted for them to go 0-16 just so they could succeed at something. :biggrinjester: Even a federal bailout won't help them. They are the perpetually terrible to mediocre (in a good season) team. The only way they will ever be good is if Ford sells the team or fires everyone and starts from scratch.

Still, I can prefer the steelers over the pats if I want to. ;)

Glad Cory had a good Cmas. I agree with Dawn--he is lucky to have a mom who does so much for him. And I'll take some 78degree weather right now, too. :D Hell, I'd be happy with just no snow for awhile. :biggrinjester:

Here's wishing you a wonderful 2009 filled with good health, prosperity and lots of love. :hug2:

Thanks so much Dawn, yer so sweet. ;)

LOL Kimberly! :D

***GOOOOOOOOOOO STEELERS!***

I just know they will be in the SUPER BOWL!

:biggrinjester:

Thanks so much for the well-wishes.. :)

'09' is going to be Better & Blessed!

It just has to!

:party:

~~~~~~~~~
Whelp, it's quiet 'round here again..lol
Christian left around 3PM
Cory is napping already..
Hubby is napping to..
What's wrong with this picture?
"I" should be NAPPING! I did all the dad-gum work..lol
I'm actually fixin' to go lie down myself.
Pretty pooped and I need rest for my upcoming work week..lol
Since I was off Thursday and Friday + weekend, I'm sure I'll walk into another MESS! If so, I'll be having a talk with the family for sure.
Just bc Caregiving includes housekeeping, that does not make me a freakin' MAID! :toetap05:
Cory had a great B-Day Weekend and I'm glad.
It makes up for him havin' ta go back to school on his b-day after C-Mas break..lol
I still cannot believe he'll be 15 on Monday!?!
Where does the time go?
I feel old..
lol
I'm glad things will slow down now..
I look forward to life trying to get back to normal (an better!).
I was finally able to catch up with everyone! lol
Gonna go for now..
Talk to ya soon dear friends!
Wish It * Dream It * DO IT!
Diary of a Reasoner:
It's a New Year - I need a New Me through & through!
Inside & Out!
Super long title huh? :D
2008 is gone :waving: and I'm soooooo glad.
2009 is here and after much reflection, I need to make major changes with ME inside and out.
I'm probably one of the best 'reasoner's' in the world!
It's time to CUT THAT OUT and get to the root of my issues that hold me back.
Reasoner's are excellent with excuses.
*stands up*
Hello.
My name is Stacy and I reason myself right out of success and happiness.
YES, I want to be successful with life and weight-loss and yes, I want to look and feel better.
Very easy to say, very hard to do.
I had to dig deep and research myself.
I found:
My life has been a hard one since a young child which deals with a lot of mental/verbal abuse.
When years and years of horrible things have been done/said to you, you believe it and truly become a 'failure/quiter' at everything you do bc that's all you know.
You get to a place of FEAR...Fear of everything..
Example:
I want this and want to do this and be good at it, BUT...
If I do something wrong or if I happen to not do it good enough or perfect, I'm gonna get cut down..I won't please those that have to be pleased 24/7
I have to please in order to be accepted and have value.
That's - that re: my past in a nut shell...(no need to get on the past and harp on it..lol)
This all leads to this point:
I NEVER, EVER FINISH WHAT I START.
It goes back way before having Cory and then having weight issues.
The past 15 years have been very difficult though bc of the weight issues and the stopping/starting circle of doom.
LIGHT-BULB!
The only way to fix my weight issues and lose the weight is to FIX ME ON THE INSIDE...
For me personally I have to start over with the Lord and renew my relationship with Him.
I have to dive back into bible study and church.
I'm so 'dry' on the inside and I miss my relationship with the Lord.
I believe once I get back on track the Lord and His word which is Living Water will flood me with a new life which will quinch my thirsty soul.
I can do anything through Christ and I believe once I make that my top priority eveything else will fall in place and become easier bc through prayer and the blessings you receive through Christ I will have strength and a 'Holy Will Power' so to speak.
During my reflection, the proof was right there.........
Any period of time that I was truly happy with myself and doing well in all areas in my life; including weight-loss was when I was on track 'spiritually.'
In 2003 I was on track and reached my goal weight-loss wise with healthy eating/exercise..(no fad diets or anything.)
I lost all the weight (at that time is was 20 lbs. and many inches.)
I was back in a size 10/11.. Felt great, looked great, and I was in a great place with ME on the inside and out.
Let's fast forward to now..Jan. 7th - 2009
I cannot stand how I have allowed myself to get this bad..
Not just with weight...but with anger, depression, bad attitude, bad outlook, sooooooooooooooo negative re: many, many issues/areas and so on.
When you're that ugly on the inside, of course it's going to make you ugly on the outside.
Food became my 'healer.'
Comfort Food (especially in the south) has a lot of POWER.
Emotional Eating became my way of dealing with all of life's problems and my issues, my pain.
During periods of trying to lose weight, the ups and downs with money probs would make the journey very difficult bc of the cost of healthy foods.
Once a stuggle started I'd just give up....
Even though the budget was tight and I had to buy many things that were not healthy, I could have still tried and kept up with EXERCISE!
But NO..I through in the towel.
Ms. Reasoner took over and that was that.
^A little foot note^
I'm personally a Non-Denominational Christian which means I do not believe in religion/doctrine/titles.
I do not believe in 'Man' taking the Word and teaching "Their" views/opinions re: the Word and making Laws/Rules for their church and the people of the church to follow.
For those that may be reading this: Please do not get me wrong..I'm not saying your religion is wrong or wrong for YOU.. I'm just sharing what "I" know in my heart of hearts and what "I" trust.
I only visit/become a member of Non-Denominational churches.
The Pastor's of these churches study and teach from the bible, cover to cover and there are no strings attached.
They teach what the "Lord asks of us as Christians.."
^^^^^^^End Foot Note^^^^^^^
In closing,
I now understand and know that I have to fix my emotions and perosnal demons so-to-speak within before I can be successful with weight-loss.
Today is day 1 re: the inside and out..
Each day will be working on me and what goes in my mouth.
Each day will be about doing my best re: exercise and making time for myself.
It's time for me to plant good seeds in all areas of my life and to nourish and care for those seeds one day at a time.
It takes time for a seed to grow and blossom.
It takes time for a harvest to come as well.
You reap what you sow.
I will work hard to sow good things so I can reap good things...
For the first time in a very long time I have peace and a calm outlook.
You can't rush a tree to grow and become a mighty oak in a few months.
Thus, I'm not going to be fixed and reach weight-loss goals in a few months.
I cannot limit 'myself' to a time frame.
I'll walk hand in hand with the Lord and take each day as it comes.
- Stacy
Too bad you don't live here--Cory would've had a snow day on his birthday. :biggrinjester: I'm sure he would've loved sleeping in and no school. :D
Best of luck in 2009. I think you're a lot stronger than you think you are. Look at all you have dealt with lately and over the years. And still you rise and keep on plugging away. I think getting that job was a great thing for you--brings in extra money to help ease financial stress, gives you more confidence in knowing you do the job well and are helping people in the process, etc.
You are one fantastic lady, Stacy, and I sure hope this year brings all the good things you deserve. :hug2: And don't forget to make time for YOU! You deserve some pampering. ;)
I now understand and know that I have to fix my emotions and personal demons so-to-speak within before I can be successful with weight-loss.
I read all the posts since I last visited and I have a LOT to say, but I'll try to abbreviate:
--You are a genius, now apply your wisdom!
--You're also really hard on yourself, for fucks sake, though, you work your ass off and raise a family and take care of your extended family / parents! Also the expense of good food SUCKS and I understand why it's hard to lose weight. Appreciate yourself!!! :smash:
--WOW Cory has a GF? Good for him, how cute! Happy Belated birthday, Cory! :waving:
--I'm glad he had a great Christmas
--Don't feel bad about not exchanging gifts, I'm sure everyone understands. The best gift you can give to friends and family, I decided, is the gift of self-love and self-health. And you're working on that!
--I am so sorry you feel "old," tired, and bogged down with the excess weight!! I'm not going to pretend to be nice, I'm going to be honest--I don't blame you. However, you did it before (got down to the 170s), you can do it again! Sorry your clothes are tighter. I hate that! :cuss:
--We both need to finish what we start! I have a Personal Trainer's handbook to read! :smash:
Love you Stacy darling! :hug2:
Hey beautiful lady :). You sound like you're on the right track. You've been through a lot the past year so dont be too hard on yourself. Do you have a non-denominational church nearby? Best of luck in 2009 with your plans.
Hi Ya Friends.. :waving:
Sam: It just has to right?
HeeHee..I agree, we are all gonna be blessed in 2009! :hurray:
*WooT!*
Kimberly: Thank you sweetie-pie! :beating:
We all would have loved that 'snow-day!' lol
When ya "don't get it" of course we'll say that..lol
We have had spring/fall/winter in one weeks time..
I really am sick of our weather..
*Yells* *Pick a season for pete's sake!!* ;)
Thanks for all the positive feedback doll. :)
Val: Luv Ya To Sweetie! :beating:
Thanks so much!
Yep, there is no reason to 'beat around the bush.'
When you have way too much weight on, everything is harder 'life' wise and you just feel icky and depressed.
I found this week to be very, very hard at work.
I had no energy and came home each day in so much pain..(my back, feet, ankles, etc.)
Hey, Hey Ms. Cita! :hug2:
Thank you!
I do have one near by and I will start out going on Sunday nights and Wed. nights.
I'm too embarrassed to make the morning services bc I cannot fit into any nice clothes.
Night services are always super casual so I can wear my warmers and a couple of other things that fit that are casual. :blush5:
