Wow that new job sounds like just what you were looking for! I'm sure you'll get accustomed to it fairly soon...I'm like that too, starting a new job is so exhausting, but once it becomes your routine it's much less daunting :) Congrats on the 1lbs lost!!

Congrats on the lb lost! :hurray: Woot woot!

That's great news about Ms. Mary. Sounds like it's a perferct fit for you. :) Hmm...maybe I should try for a job like that...I could handle running errands, cooking and some light housekeeping. :D

Good News!!
Glad you have finally gotten the kind of client that you wanted/needed.
You certainly deserved to have something good happen for ya!
I am sure that once you get into a routine you will be able to exercise when you get home.
Congrats on the 1 pound!
Slow and steady wins the race!

I miss you guys! :grouphug:

Thanks everyone. ;)

Val, my vision is still the same...(Left eye clear and right eye all messed up/poor vision. The vertigo comes and goes..I guess bc the vision is still not 100%? I have not had a chance to make the 2nd opinion dr. app. yet..I need to get that set up!!)

Ms. Mary is a doll and her family is just thrilled w/me!
They love my organization with her and the house.

My poor body is still trying to get used to this..lol..

The main thing is my dag-gone feet!!
I have great shoes..I think my weight has a lot to do w/it..

I was almost in tears last night after I got home and had to do our stuff plus cook dinner. Hubby ordered me to the recliner and cleaned up the whole kitchen.. :)

I think I need to be gelin' like a felon...? :D

I need to go get those dohickies for my shoes. lol

HAPPY THANKSGIVING Y'ALL!

I gotta go hop in the shower and get ready for work.
It'll be a long day bc after work I have to go to the store and pick up all the stuff I have to make for the holiday. Then come home and do all the chopping/cooking! *cries*
I'm sure hubby will HELP me!

I also work Friday as well..

TTYS!

Stacy

For all that your feet are hurting I bet you are glad that you have the opportunity for them to hurt.
If you understand what I mean. LOL
I know that when I am at work and my feet/legs are killing me from standing all night I just keep telling myself there are plenty of people out there who would kill to be in my shoes. Especially in this economy.
Congrats on having sore pups!
Happy Turkey Day Sweetie!

lol Val..

Thanks Dawn!

Well guys, MaeMae is havin' the baby Monday at 10AM..

*Here we go* It will be exciting, happy, sad, and depressing all at once. :ack2:

I hope she will handle it well...Same for me and the rest of the family..

He'll be my 1st nephew for 3 days. :angelsad2:

The adoptive family did agree to an "open" adoption and we will all get to be there and hold/love the baby...We will have private time and they will have private time with the baby.
In a way, my heart and tummy feels like there has been a death and I'm getting ready for a funeral..? I guess that's normal.
I just pray to the Lord MaeMae will be ok and handle this well.

The soon to be parents have decided along w/Chrisy to name him Jackson.

They had three names and asked MaeMae for her opinions.

Jaylin (I don't like that one for a boy..) lol

Jax

Jackson

We all liked Jackson.

Here is my baby all ready to explode on Thanksgiving...LOL..

Pics:

I called in of course for Monday, So I'll now have to work Sat. the 6th to make up for Monday.
Tues. & Wed. I'll go to the hospital after work.

Y'all may not hear from me for a while..

?? I'll try to check in.

TTYS!

BEST WISHES TO MAE MAE FOR A SAFE DELIVERY!!!!!!!!!! :grouphug:

Awww, adoption is a beautiful thing. I really hope it turns out to be a positive experience for all...........HUGS!

Wow baby is arriving already. My goodness.Time sure flies by fast...That is great about the open adoption and sad at the same time and everything else...That is awesome about the adoptive parents and allowing nad wanting and incoluding her input on the names...Im not sure how I would feel or be able to deal with that myself.I wish you guys all the best of luck.

I can't believe it's time for Mae Mae to deliver already either. I also hope she has a safe delivery and handles it well. Don't feel like your nephew is dying--think of the great opportunity he will have with this family. I'm sure he will be well-loved by both his birth and adoptive families. :)

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!

Thanks Y'all.. :grouphug:

Isn't her belly cute?!

Heehee... She's such a skinny lil thing!

She is shorter than me and has an athletic frame as well..(bc of basketball/exercise for the sport in college.)

I'm hoping she will not get the CURSE passed down on my mother's side after having the baby.

I hope her tummy will pop back in place and I hope her metab will stay the same!

For me, I took after my mother/her side of the family..

My tummy did not pop back in place and my metab was all screwed up and has stayed that way.

I was 115 lbs in a size 0-1 before havin' Cory. (I was a healthy skinny..)

I'm 5'8 as well.

Chrisy before bein' preggers: 5'6 1/2 - 125 lbs. Size 1 or 2..
(healthy skinny)

We'll find out..lol...

Speakin' of weight, I lost 2 lbs. even w/TG and Pecan Pie! :smilielol5:

Probably "would have been" 3 lbs tho! LOL :sifone:

Whelp, I have a lot to do to get ready for tomorrow!

:grouphug:

Hey Girly,

Wow, I was skinny too well not as skinny as you two especially since you have the height!

I was about 130 and was 5'4...and I havent been anywhere remotely close to that since, lol.SInce Kaylea was abt 2 when I moved here, I have been just over 200 and never under...and I was young and still kinda am I guess, lol.I also gained alot of weight with Kaylea, or 70 lbs, I figured with my age my body probually needed it.

Anyhow you will be in my thoughts tomorrow, you and your family!

My prayers are with you guys!
I second Kimberly's thoughts on not thinking of your nephew as being gone.
'Cuz he is not. He is just being raised by another family. A good thing to do would be to sit down and write him a letter every once and a while. That way when he gets old enough he will have something from is birthfamily.
Sounds like you guys have a great adoptive family there.

Jaxson Christopher

12/1/08 - Born at 11:34AM - 7 lbs. 6 oz. - 20 1/2 in.

He is an angel!!! I was in love the first moment I looked into his eyes.
When I held him and he looked at me, more love flowed through me than I could have ever expected.

Here is the pic of that..

Chrisy is doin' fine...It did get scary for a while due to her birth-defect.
Things were switched around in her body which made the C-Section more difficult. At one point the doc asked for a stool with no wheels that she had to stand on to get the baby out!

(funny note: he's so white...lol..That just proves we have so much Irish in us!
lol..The father is dark-skinned, so we were all shocked he was not darker..heehee..)

More pics to come!

I gotta go get ready for work..
I'm going to the hospital right after work..

Im so glad to hear all went well...

Oh my goodness, is all i have to say! What a gorgeous little man.So damn cute and adorable.Makes you want one of your own:)

You look good in your pics!

Glad to hear all went well! He is adorable. :) I think the darker pigmentation tends to come in later, so he might get darker with age..lol.

You are such a good sister. Mae Mae is lucky to have you. :)

Oh, and a BIG CONGRATS ON LOSING 2LBS!! :hurray::hurray: That's quite an accomplishment the week of Thanksgiving. :cheers2:

Absolutely ADORABLE!!!
What a cutie-pie!!
I second Cinder in that you look good in the photos too. Love the hat. I'm a hat girl myself. LOL Nothing better to make yourself presentable on the way out the door!!! hahaha
Mae Mae looked good. Glad to hear that everything worked out well.
I believe Kimberly is right in that the darkness will come later.
Both of my kids came out pale. But darkened up to their lovely olive skin tone in less than a month.
Congrats!!!

LMBO! :seeya:

Yep, the nurse told us that she thinks he may have the skin tone of Jason Kidd (basketball player - Dallas Mav's) and that he will darken up but remain light-skinned. Heck, we didn't know..lol.. All of the black family members in our family are by marriage and they don't have kids yet..heehee...
When they heard our chatter they just cracked up!! :D

Thanks guys for your sweet comments and support! :grouphug:
<3 You are all so wonderful & I love ya dearly!

Chrisy had a very bad night last night and I just climbed in bed with her and held her. Today is the last day with the baby for all of us. I had to take off work today.. I'm in the process of gettin' ready for the hospital.
We are lettin' the rush hour traffic die down at the moment re: Downtown Dallas..

I'll post pics of the adoptive family when I get a chance.
They are precious and gracious during this time.
They are wonderful/loving people and they have been sooooooooo supportive of Chrisy and the whole family.

Here are pics from last night..

Ah, my heart goes out to Chrissy. I'm sure it's got to be hard. I know Dawn knows exactly how she feels. But she's doing the right thing. Sometimes that's the hardest thing to do. :hug2: <---for Mae Mae

Well, and don't you look like your mamma? :D
