I worked yesterday and I have a 9 hr. shift tomorrow (Thursday)!
She is a brand new client and may become a regular!
I will be my normal charming self so she will want to be a regular.
lol
She is a stroke survivor that needs lots of care/love/aid/help, that's why the shift is so long. When I leave, a CareGiver arrives to spend the night.
I sure hope this will turn into a regular shift!
I'm drinking coffee (slept in) and I have ta get dressed to go get my check and then run errands. My shift is 8AM - 5PM ; So, I have lots to tend today since I'll be gone all morning/day tomorrow.
Plus, I'll be plum wore out by the time I get home..lol
Val: Thanks sweetie.
We don't qualify for any help bc hubby makes to much per hour/gross pay.
They never look at ALL the bills that have to be 'paid' and how much money flies out the door!
Thanks again.
Kimberly: Hi doll.
You have to 'qualify' for any/all aid here in Texas.
We don't for the same reasons mentioned above.
Jefferson Dental is the cheapest around.(as mentioned bc it's a low-end place. Meaning: No luxury's.)
I can't wait for all this to pass!!! lmbo!
Hi Margaret!! I know yer havin' a great time Greece!!
Hi ya Dawn! <3 You snuck in while I was typing all this..HaHaHa! *wink*
Is "snuck" a word? lol lol I have no idea.

RE: My messed up weight-loss journey:
The key is going to be EXERCISE.
Even when eating less healthy choices bc of money, I HAVE to exercise as much as possible.
During the times we have a good budget for healthy/better choices, that will be great to and help.
I will get a new game plan together and get myself pumped up on Friday.
I can't start anything now bc of the shift I have tomorrow.
Whelp, I'll go catch up in yer journals before I have ta leave..
Once I get to the office to get my check, the lady asks me,
"I didn't think to check your profile before I called you about the new client and your profile shows you are highly allergic to cats..
She has two...So...."
I was so po'd but just bit my lips..
I got all excited for nothing.
I'm so allergic I get ill! Even if they are put away..It's the dander/hair..
Oh well...At least I can start over weight-loss wise sooner than I thought now!
Have I told you guys about my check mark birthmark?
You can see it perfect in the avie pic..(the big pic/click on link a few posts up)
It's in the middle of my dern forehead..
True Story:
When I was selling Avon a couple of years ago, I'd try all the half priced anti wrinkle/anti aging creams and 1 week supply samples bc they were dirt cheap with my discount.
Anywho,
I was over at my moms one day and I brought her some samples.
I then began to tell her how everynight I'd rub and rub tons of cream in my huge wrinkles on forehead, especially the middle one.
I was seeing great results from the products except for my forehead.
She began rolling in laughter. I was like...What the heck?
She said, "Do you not remember the story I told you about your Pappy over and over as a little girl?"
I was like...Uhhhhh, I guess not...
lol
(Just so ya know: I never knew my Pappy. "Mom's dad." He passed before I was born. He was old and died of cancer. He was almost 40 yrs. older than my Nana Margie when they married! )
Mom said I used to love to hear the story about the 'check mark.'
She went to the bedroom and pulled out the old photos I have seen over a dozen times.
She then said, "Honey, that's not a wrinkle and it'll never go away.
It's a birth mark and Pappy Champ had it in the same exact spot!
Look at the pics."
I was blown away! lmbo
Mom then told me that when I was little I called it a scar on me.
I told mom that I HAVE NEVER noticed it before and how could this be?
Also, why did "I" get it and not her?
She then drug out all my baby pics and there the dern thing was!
LOL
I guess when things are a part of you, sometimes you just 'don't see/notice them?'
I now think it's a curse!
That's the Gypsy in me.
(My Nannie - Dad's Mom is full Gypsy/Czech)
Well, I'll email it to you. I lightened it up a bit, but it was the best I could do, seems like avis are just generally too small for a really clear distinct photo to show up!
p.s. sorry everyone, I was just comparing avatar pictures but by the time you read this mine will be back to my old one
My family members are finally headed this way..
I don't understand why E1 takes their time evacuating?! lol
One set of family is leaving Galveston Island, and the other set is leaving Corpus..
Man, they are going to be stuck in the evac traffic 4-ever!
We will also be affected here in Mesquite..(Dallas county.)
Sat thru Sunday we will be in the track of IKE.
Our weather man said to prepare for flash flooding - winds up to 65 mph - and possible tornado outbreaks.
Oh the joy..
Our area is prone to bad flooding.
For example:
Just during calm storms/lots of rain for a day or two, our parks up the street will be under water. You can't even see pick-nick tables!
The parks become a lake!
Our streets are just terrible as well and you are truly just stuck inside.
