Hi y'all.. :grouphug:

Everything is still the same. :angelsad2:

The eye exam showed that my eyes are ok so Dr. Haley said it has to do wit the brain and I need to go back to hospital and get an MRI.

Last night I was in so much pain once the numbing eye drops wore off and the dialation.. My eyes ached and felt like they were gonna explode.
I felt so much presure.

Today everythin is still fuzzy/distorted and I'm still seeing floatig black dots.

I'm about to get all cleaned up (shower/shave/and so on) in case they admit me once at hospital..Of course we will pack and bag and take it to. We want ot be prepared.

That's all I know right now..

I'm scared and just wasnt to find out what the heck is going on!

OMG :( :cry: WHY the hell is your life fraught with misfortune?!?!?! Here I was trying to send some positive vibes over there in TX--shit!!!! :(

Ms. Hollywood is here.. :cool: (my nickname from nurses at hospital..lol)

I was discharged yesterday at 1:30 PM..

I was admitted on Tuesday night at 11:30PM

My Neuro Dr. that did my C-Spine 3 years ago ordered more tests and wanted me to be looked after closely of course.
(He is the one you guys know about bc he gave me the bad news that my RA traveled to my spinal cord and has messed up vertbras.)

He wanted a CT scan again and wanted my EKG done over..

Wed. afternoon I had an MRI and MRA..
That made me sooooooooo ill! Made me very dizzy and vomitting followed. :ack2:

I was already very sick from morning till night on Wed. bc the small doses of morphine (to help my severe headaches) made me super ill so they had to stop giving me that.

I stopped throwing up Wed. finally around 7PM...

My poor arms are so bruised from the IV and blood IV..Plus the dang tape they use to hold them down! *yuck* and *ouch*

My neuro doc arrived Thursday mornin' and told me that all of my tests are clean/good.

He is also freakin' stumped!
Leave it to me to have a mystery problem!?! :rant:

He is now leaning toward my spinal cord since my vision has not become normal yet and in some areas has gotten worse.
(when I cover my left eye and try to make out things with my right eye, I cannot make out anything clear or even read! Way to blurred.)

When doin' the opposite my left eye is still bad but I can still read.

RE: Both eyes: everything is still the same. Light bothers me.
I have to keep sunglasses on all the time! Especially here at the puter.
(that's why the nurses called me Ms. Hollywood..lol) :D

The doc then did his little one on one test with me to check my motor skills and reflexes. I did ok until he gave me the drunk driver test which I would have failed 100% normal..lmbo!
I made sure to let him know I have never had proper balance..lol

He is thinking I have a crazy nerve out of wack bc of spinal cord and severe RA.. I'm on a high powered meds for 6 days to see if that helps with possible nerve.. ??? We'll see..

Today I take 6 pills tomorrow 5 and so on..(it keeps going down each day.)

Next Thursday I go to see him at office and we will go from there.
If I'm not back to normal, he will want a new/fresh C-Spine and a spinal tap.. :ack2: :puke:

Not looking forward to that at all!!!!!!

I'm praying like I have never prayed before!
I know, trust, and believe that the Lord can touch me at any moment and heal me.
I truly know and believe that bc it says so in His Word.
For those of you that are Christians, please agree with me on that via prayer.

It has taken me 30 mins to get down 1 slice of toast.. :willy_nilly:

I have no app. but I have to take these meds with food..

That's all I know for know..

I'm soooo siper sorry I cannot visit yer J's right now...

By the time I squint to type and try to check out what I've said, my eyes start hurting and I get dizzy.

I hope this will change soon!

Damn girl, continuing on that soapy I see, my life has been pretty calm lately and boring...Do you ever catch a break ? Do things evre get easy for you?:hug2::hug2::hug2:I will be thinkin gof you!
 
The way I have to look at it now hon is that I'm going through all this for a reason and I'm gonna be blessed one day beyond my imagination for what I've been through.
I now have to look at everything thru positive eyes and trust in the Lord.
There is nothing like personal turmoil/events to make you fall on your knees before the Lord and say,

"I rest in You..Only You can comfort me, bless me, heal me, and make me whole again."

I have been away from the Lord for so long bc of many issues and family garbage that keeps you angry, upset, and in my case even blame God.

I became a very bad negative person.

As a christian trying to get back on track, I believe that sometimes the Lord will give you a wake up call so to speak.

I'm AWAKE!! :rotflmao:

I have over 4 churches praying for me now along with all of my family members and friends. ;)

I know I'm going to be back to normal one day.

The Lord will heal me or he'll work through the doc's.

An answer will be found or I'll be healed.

This is a new journey with OPEN EYES I'm taking now with my own personal life and I have to let go of many things that have kept me upset and angry.

I tell ya one thing...I now wake up and go to bed thanking the Lord for eveything we can take advantage of..

Bein' able to see, hear, taste, smell, walk, talk, function, and so on.
Plus things like havin' a roof over our head and stuff like that.

My poor family from Galveston Island have NOTHING!

They did the look and leave and found their home under water. All they can see is the roof. All of their belongings are floating around their lot and down the street. :angelsad2:

FEMA is giving them a hard time as well. They have been kicked out of motels after 3 days and have to drive hours to a new city to re-apply and get set up again for 3 days. :rolleyes:

They have 2 small adopted children that are under 7 yrs. old as well.
They have been all over Texas!
I feel so very sorry for them.
Family here just does not have any space to hold them over or the money to feed extra mouths. It makes us all feel like pure CRAP! :leaving:

We are also scared to death that her brother (my Uncle Darell) may be floating off out to sea bc so many people in graves have been found!!

It is so horrible for all affected...

The point of this...
Even with what they are going thru and will continue to go thru, their spirits are still good and they are so thankful they got out in time and are all alive.

There is always a blessing to help overcome the bad.

God's Word says that for eveything bad that happens to us, if you keep the faith and trust in Him, all the bad things will be turned to good things in your favor.

I will hold on to that as well in my case. :Angel_anim:

We now have to come up with $1,000 before our 90% coverage will kick in again. :cuss:

So, this means I will not be able to make my appointment with the Neuro Doc after 6 days. (I will call his office and explain everything and maybe he'll see me under an IOU type thing out of pity?) lol *shrugs shoulders*

I just talked to my dad and he's been a member of a new church for about 2 months now.

He said he'll talk to his pastor at church tomorrow.

They only have 40 members tho so far bc they have only been opened a few months.

Do you guys think it would be "out of place or rude" for me to ask some AVON ladies I know to check into their fundraisers?

I know you can have them for anything as long as you are 100% clear with those that donate where it is going and for what reason(s).

What do you think?

It's pretty ironic that our NetFlix movies came in today and one of them is Michael Moore's - "Sicko" re: our stupid health care systems/ins! :sifone:

We really like him. We found Bowling for Columbine and Farinheight 911 very interesting!

We will probably be ranting/angry after watching tonight! :cuss:

I have to call the doc tomorrow and see if I can at least walk, do pilates, use the exercise bike or something?! lol

I wanted to ride the bike so bad yesterday while watchin' the BL.. :sifone:

Thank goodness hubby remembered to put it on DVR since I was in the hospital.

I have taken all the meds now...
My Neuro App. is Monday @ 11:15 AM

My left eye is fine, my right is still distorted/fuzzy..
How stange is that?

So of course this means my vision and day to day condition is still not 100%bc the bad eye throws off the good one.
I'm still havin' vertigo issues as well.

I sure hope they can get to the bottom of all this!

I'm tired of the mystery and need answers. :rolleyes:

I'm still seein' dots and flashes of light and still have to wear sunglasses at puter.. :svengo:

I want to get well, get my life back, and get back to WORK!

Stacy, in this situation it's necessary to exhaust any resource you have available. If people care about you, or even if they feel obligated from their religion, they'll help!

I liked Michael Moore's films but he definitely needs to change his views on personal health and possibly join the forum ;)

Since I just suddenly woke up like this on the 13th, I've been hoping I'd wake up normal one day to..lol.. :sifone:

It's really starting to get on my dang nerves!
I have been gracious thru this process, but now I'm gettin' angry..:ack2:

I want my full vision back and I want these vertigo issues to go away.

I have been trying to read today and my eyes just won't focus in.

It stinks!
