Thanks, although that is only my short-term goal, I hope to lose a lot more than that in the long term. :)
 
Looking good...:):):)Have a good weekend, I have that problem as well, Icome home andhave allthe distrations and dont get out again, the tv, comp, the kids and so on and so on...but that is why the Elliptical is great!!!
 
Yeh, I am making myself get to the gym regularly but I do think either a treadmill or a bike would be great to have at home... I'd just be on it going at a steady pace while I watch all the soaps etc on TV (rather than sat on my bum through them!)

Anyway 600 cals this morning. :) I have found that not pushing myself quite as hard down there stops me from burning myself out by the end of the week!
 
Grrr!! Those scales just aren't moving for anything!! :mad:

I now have under three weeks to meet my target and I am never going to do it at this rate. So this week is going to see some serious work at the gym and some VERY strict dieting.

*walks away muttering*

I got to the gym n burnt 950 cals this morning. I was struggling a bit by then so I didn't see the point in pushing myself like it for the sake doing another 50 and getting to a round number lol, so I came home. This week my other half is away so I am determined to get to the gym every day before or after work. (I'm just going to be a loner for the week lol, nobody will see me!)
 
*Hangin head in shame agian* LOL ... damn I need to get it togehter and come and visit regularly...sorry hun...good job sometimes I am liek that as well...I just dont wanna push any further lol... that is 950 cals...Your doing great by the way...woohoo!!!
 
Thanks cinderelly. I am staying positive, although I am starting to worry about how slow things are moving... the summer doesn't look so far away this side of Christmas and I REALLY want to feel comfortable in that beachwear and all the other skimpy clothes that come with hot weather.

Your doing awesome! I hear ya with summer being right around the corner.I still have a ways to go and I am hoping when it warms up a little more than highs in the 10-20's I will start doing my 4 miles walking again and that should help get closer to my goal.
Is it warm where you are? If so walking really drops the lbs and your legs start taking a great shape.I hate indoor exersicing which atleast for the week I am stuck doing.Keep up the good work and have a nice day,Tammy
 
It's been really cold the last week or so, but I've been trying to rack up miles on the treadmill at the gym... I don't mind it too much it's just time consuming unless you go at a really fast pace. But I am gonna keep it up, and will consider getting a few outdoor walks in soon (the only problem is that it's REALLY hilly around here lol, good for the calorie-burning but not for the pleasure!)

Getting down to the gym now to get a bit more work in. :)
 
Thanks M2M :D I have the whole weekend off of work- I haven't had a weekend off since beginning of November so I'm making the most of it!
 
Thanks lol, it's hard work but I am SO determined about this, I'm still 7lb away from where I wanted to be on the 12th of Feb.
 
I jumped on the scales this morning to find I've lost a whopping 1/4 of a lb!!

GIVE ME STRENGTH lol.

Never mind... at least it's finally moving in the right direction.
