Must be the time fo year i think, my weight loss has slowed right down to the point of wondering if im gonna hit goals too lol :)

Anyway, I'm keeping it up. Food wise I've been very good so far, and I am going to the gym and aqua-fit later on today. Determined to make that scale move this week!
 
Hey all.

Today has been good food-wise. I'm sticking to my guns well this week! Excercise front isn't too great though. I went to aqua-fit last night, but I was totally tired out by the time I got in from work this evening and ended up opting out of the the gym. Oops.

I am hoping to get it in tomorrow, between getting home from work and going out to the cinema, but if I'm feeling knackered again I know I'll be tempted not to go. We shall see.

On the up-side, a new workout DVD arrived today and I've glanced through it -looks great. :D Can't wait to give it a try on Thursday morning!

I am a bit excited because I tried on a pair of trousers the other day in the next size down from what I'm currently wearing (I'm currently UK size 14) and I actually got into them and they actually did up! They looked a little on the tight size though so I didn't get them. I know after a few more lbs they are going to fit right, and I'm going to BUY MYSELF a pair. :D:D It will be a greatttttt feeling.

Ok I'll stop ranting now. :D Hope everyone's doing ok. :) xx

Thanks newbride. Yeh mine is a dance one too -it is the Ministry of Sound's "Pump It Up -Beach Body". I already have the two previous Pump It Up ones. It's definately my sort of thing, something lively and fun and set to the sort of music I enjoy. What dance one do you have, and what's it like?

Hey all.

I got up this morning and did my new DVD, then half of my old favourite, so I'm feeling pretty good at the moment. Good to know I've done some hard work. Knew I had to get it done because I have to go to work this afternoon and don't finish till 10pm so I wont have another chance to workout. But I'm gonna get down to the gym tomorrow evening after work.

Gonna get myself some *healthy* lunch now :) see you all later. xx
 
Whats the new DVD you're working out too? I actually am about to pick up "Yourself Fitness" for xbox. It's supposed to be REALLY good. over 150 different work out routines ranging from pilates, yoga, to high impact fitness. And it incorporates all of the equipment you have at your house! Let us know how your day went!
 
I usually use the original "Pump it Up" DVD from the Ministry of Sound, the new one I've just got is the Pump it Up -Beach Body one they released recently, and I think I like that one too.

I don't have an Xbox but if anybody can recommend any medium-high intensity dance workout ones I will certainly give them a shot!
 
that's awesome! My wife actually got the bellydancing workout videos... but she doesn't feel that it's helping at all... she's looking for something that makes her FEEL like she's burning something
 
Well I highly recommend the original Pump It Up DVD

It leaves you tired out for the half a dozen times you do it but once you get more used to it it's more fun. And you certainly feel what a workout it is -it works up a real sweat. However it's definately not for people who don't like dance music... if a workout was set to music I hated I wouldn't stick it out at all!
 
Hey all! Everybody ok?

Well I didnt get down to the gym today I'm afraid, but I did complete the "extended bums and tums" section on my new DVD so that I could feel I'd done something good. I did this DVD for the first time yesterday and judging from the aches this morning I reckon that toning section works you pretty hard! Diet-wise I've been good too. *polishes halo*

Tomorrow morning I am going down to the gym for an hour, and then getting a swim in afterwards. Looking forward to it, so hopefully I will still feel enthusiastic and raring to go in the morning and can put my all into it. :)
 
Well, I got down to the gym this morning, but I only burnt a few hundred calories as I didn't stay long -I have a bad throat, and I thought I could just ignore it as I otherwise feel fine, but I found that when I was working out I couldn't breathe quite as well as I should, and kept coughing as well, so I quit while I was ahead. I did then go down to the pool and do a few lengths for a bit more excercise/toning though. :)

Food wise today has been fine. I really feel like I'm on a bit of a roll at the moment; I haven't had anything I shouldn't in what seems like ages, my portions have shrunk to a more reasonable size, and my overall diet is far more varied and healthy.

My fitness levels have improved too :) when I think back to my performance when I first started going to the gym, compared to what I do now, I realise just how badly out of shape I was. It's gotta be way more healthy to live this way.
 
Hey all. I havent really been on in a few days... just soooooo busy in the run up to Xmas. Well I feel like the weight loss is playing a bit of a back seat at the moment. Too many food temptations around at the moment thats the problem! I have my staff Christmas dinner on Friday night -a big dinner with pudding and (of course) lots of drinking to go with it. Then on Saturday I'm going to an all-u-can-eat Chinese... murder lol. But I'm still trying to be as good as I can in-between these sorts of things to make up for it a bit.

I dont stand a chance of losing over Xmas, so I'm just going to keep watching what I eat and working out, and hope to keep it where it is rather than put ON any lbs.

However I have lost one more lb :) If I could lose that last 2 before Xmas Day it would be sooooo good. That will be my first stone lost.

Gonna change my ticker now :D then get a bit of excercise in.

Hows everyone else getting on? Coping ok with the "eating" season? :D
