No I HAVEN'T been being strict, and I need you all to give me a prompt kick into gear if you see me slacking :p Don't be afraid to scold me lol it's what I need I think. :D

Kick!!!

and you should say, "May I have another please?" :p

Please feel free to kick me anytime. I'm having a hard time being strict enough too. I'm going to try to change calories up 1200-1500 as someone suggested to me. =)

It's winter time for me that has me in a slump. It's too cold to get out and so depressing inside! I hope spring gets here soon!

Oh and I second that kick!!:D

Belated Birthday!:D Hope you have a great Saturday:)

I'm still around! Being good food wise, need to step up on excercise at the mo though! Just been sooooo busy. GOING to see results! :)

...is this a new skin on the forum, by the way? :)

Glad to hear all is still going wella nd strong with you - I gotta step my exercise back up as well - cant wait to see you ticker move down to 170's your almost there

Ok, heres the new plan.

I'd like to say "I can't understand what's happened", but I do understand. The gym has become like a distant memory to me, I haven't been in two weeks. And although I have not gone mad with the eating it hasn't been too strict either. So I'm just going to have to face it, the weight loss just CANNOT slip to the back of my mind without consequences.

SO. Getting strict with myself (I wonder how many times I've gone round this cycle?) And it will be hard to get to the gym much this week with work etc, but I can get down there on Thurs and Friday. But next week I am going to go from Monday-Friday without fail and burn 500 cals a day down there. That will be a good start.

I have also given myself a new mini-goal. I want to get to 11.7 stone (161lbs) by Easter. :) Hence the Easter-ticker. :D It will be a bit tight to keep to but will hopefully keep me working hard- HOPEFULLY. :D

LOTS AND LOTS more bum-kicks for me please :( I need lots of telling off to keep me being good at the moment!

Im sorry to hear abt the weight gian it happens to the best of us - it sucks I hear ya abt being to busy - Im in work over load - it is crazy - Im tired and have kids and fitting in exercise has been a struggle - I hear ya there wmn - so as you said pick your self up dust yourself of and start over agian - Im here for ya - Im cheering allt he way on the side lines !!! :D:D:D

*******kick!*******

sorry to give you a "bum-kick" after not talkng to you for so long, but you asked :)

Its ok hun...keep going! The weight WILL come off...just takes time!

Thanks guys. :) Yeh I have got to have patience, and more importantly PERSERVERENCE! It will only come off if I work at it.

But I have been good since I last posted, sticking nicely to a diet. Just need to throw a bit of excercise in now! I am feeling back-on-track. :)

Thanks. :D

No slipups yet today. Nice sunny day here... very spring like. These days always serve as a reminder to me that summer is on its way! (And skimpy outfits and BEACHWEAR lol.) So I think good weather like this is a bit of a motivator for me. Puts me in a good mood too of course. :)

Oh and it's hardly worth mentioning but the scales have moved down 1/4 of a lb today LOL. :D:D

Congrats on getting back to the gym, Sprite. I've tried many times to lose weight without exercising, and in the long run, it just doesn't work. You just have to find a way to do it consistently. So kudos to you for taking that first step!

Thanks TomO... my gym habits are a bit of a yoyo, I work REALLY hard for a couple of weeks and then wont go for a week, then start over again. Like you say I need to try and make it a bit more consistant. The weightgain has made me realise that if I DON'T keep up the excercise I go backwards, so hopefully that will be motivation enough to keep it a bit more regular this time. :)

For me it's crucial because I just can't get by on those 1,500 calorie a day routines -- I get too damned hungry! Yesterday, for example, I staved off my hunger, but consumed 2,750 calories. But I did 1,050 calories at the gym, so I still ended up the day with a 700 calorie deficit.

And then there are the days when I just fall off the wagon completely, like on Academy Awards night. We went to a friends house, and I had 2 pieces of cake, plus ice cream, plus 5 glasses of wine, plus all sorts of other stuff. Ended up with a 2,000 calorie surplus for the day! But my exercise calories through the week saved my ass, and I still was able to lose weight that week.
